BMW Fine-Tunes The New i3 In Arjeplog, Sweden

By Tyler Rampersaud –  March 05, 2026

BMW Tests The New i3 In The Arctic Circle

The new BMW i3 is going to premiere on March 18 as the second model to be created using the new Neue Klasse technology that BMW is pioneering for a new cohort of vehicles. One of the most important pieces to the Neue Klasse puzzles is BMW’s “Heart of Joy,” an advanced computer system that makes the Neue Klasse lineup more technologically advanced than any BMW production model before. Along with that, the sixth-generation eDrive system and the i3’s all-electric powertrain are being fine-tuned with a round of testing in Arjeplog, Sweden. Located within the Arctic Circle, the BMW Group winter test center in Sweden serves the purpose of ensuring cars can perform even in the most extreme conditions of cold temperature and low traction during the winter season, and the i3 is currently undergoing its final fine-tuning ahead of being ready for production. Pushing various functions of the new all-electric BMW i3, like its advanced computer systems, its drivetrain, and its powertrain to the limits in the extreme climate of the Arctic Circle, this final round of winter fine-tuning and testing comes as the new BMW i3 is set to start production in the second half of 2026, and when it does, it will boast 800-volt technology, 469 horsepower, and 476 lb/ft of torque. The New BMW M2 Performance Track Kit Adds Circuit-Ready Edge

By Tyler Rampersaud –  March 02, 2026

BMW Unveils New M Performance Track Kit For the M2

The BMW M2 is one of the legendary manufacturer’s most celebrated performance cars, offering purist-focused driving excellence with a small footprint, lightweight construction, and striking design. It’s a car that seems perfect for track days, and with a new M Performance Track Kit being unveiled by BMW M Performance Parts, the manufacturer is giving owners a way to enjoy their BMW M2s on circuits even more. Offering revised aerodynamics to the performance icon, the new M Performance Track Kit for the BMW M2 enhances both the visual aesthetic and performance aesthetic of the sports car. A manually adjustable front splitter works with the front diffuser to increase downforce at the front of the car, while wheel arch diffusers and a scoop under the upstream oil cooler further enhance aerodynamic performance throughout the body. At the back is the most apparent and track-focused modification in the kit: a manually adjustable swan neck wing, reminiscent of the racing M4 GT4 and M4 GT3. Those modifications are complemented by 4-way adjustable damping and adjustable support bearings, creating a kit that is not only stylish but purpose-built for track days and shaving seconds off lap times for owners with motorsport ambitions. Available for order in the third quarter of 2026, pricing of the new BMW M Performance Track Kit for the M2 will be available closer to the on-sale date. Designed in collaboration with BMW M specialists, optimized in the BMW wind tunnel, and fine-tuned by performance driver and engineer Jörg Weidinger, the new kit unlocks a new level of circuit performance for the sports car icon. BMW ALPINA Enters a New Era with Standalone Status and a New Badge

By Khris Bharath –  February 12, 2026

BMW ALPINA Enters a New Era with Standalone Status and a New Badge

As of January 2026, BMW holds all rights to the Alpina brand. The process of acquiring the Bavarian tuner began in 2022 and has finally concluded, with the name now living on as BMW ALPINA, a fully integrated marque within the wider BMW Group, which also includes Rolls-Royce Motorcars, Mini, and BMW Motorrad.  Since the German brand’s founding in 1965, the company refined BMW platforms with upgraded powertrains, bespoke chassis tuning, and cabins trimmed in rich leather and signature blue and green accents. Models like the B10, B5, and B7 built their reputations on discreet upgrades and effortless pace over headline-chasing performance figures. BMW states that future BMW ALPINA automobiles will continue exactly that approach, produced in select BMW Group plants prepared specifically for this role.   View this post on Instagram A post shared by BMW ALPINA (@bmwalpina.official)   Marking this change, a newly developed BMW ALPINA wordmark replaces the old standalone script. The typography specifically references the 1970s lettering that long-time enthusiasts will recognize. The badge still features the throttle body and crankshaft, a nod to the mechanical roots that defined Alpina from the onset. A transparent treatment and reduced color palette further sharpen the silhouette and signal a precise shift toward contemporary luxury. Simply put, BMW ALPINA positions itself as the elegant alternative to BMW M. If the M badge feels too aggressive for your taste, and a standard 7 Series or 5 Series just won't cut it, ALPINA sits in that space, delivering sustained high-speed capability, long-range comfort, and expanded personalization options. Superior quality leather now comes standard in every interior, offered in an extensive range of colors. You can specify contrasting stitching, curated trim materials, and subtle detailing that aligns with your taste. Outside, heritage paint finishes return alongside Alpina's signature 20-spoke alloy wheel design, creating visual continuity with past icons while fitting seamlessly into a modern portfolio. While the first model to carry the BMW ALPINA name has not yet been announced, if you value discreet luxury, comfort, and relentless speed in a single package, this evolution of the Alpina brand should already be on your radar.  View All BMW Alpinas For Sale Images: BMW Group

BMW Builds First Pre-Series Neue Klasse i3 Cars

By Tyler Rampersaud –  February 04, 2026

BMW Builds First Pre-Series New i3 Cars

Roughly a decade ago, BMW launched a model called the i3. It was a small hatchback with an electric powertrain, futuristic design, and an interior that combined luxury, practicality, and technology. While that model was BMW’s inaugural foray into mass-producing EVs, the brand has since seen its electrification effort blossom, with all-electric SUVs, sedans, and even a fully-electric version of its luxury sedan flagship, the 7 Series. However, beyond even that, BMW has been preparing for a new chatper in its lineup, what it’s been calling “Neue Klasse.” The first Neue Klasse model from BMW, the new iX3, has been launched, but a new BMW i3 is also coming, and it’s not the same thing as the hatchback i3 of the past decade. Rather, the new BMW i3 is a new, all-electric, Neue Klasse reimagination of BMW’s legendary 3 Series sedan, and as the launch of the series version quickly approaches, the first near-series test vehicles of the new BMW i3 have officially rolled off the production line in Munich. The milestone marks the first time the i3 has been built entirely at the Munich plant, using highly innovative and digitally-connected manufacturing techniques and processes. <- Gallery -> With a new chapter of BMW’s history on the horizon, the production of the new i3’s near-series test vehicles means that another new Neue Klasse model is close to being launched, showcasing an unprecedented level of technology, innovation, and futuristic design in a new cohort of BMW staple models. By Tyler Rampersaud –  January 14, 2026

BMW Teases 2027 M Neue Klasse EV

Over 50 years of legacy and celebrated heritage have made BMW’s M one of the most respected names in the world of European automotive luxury performance. Today, the M lineup is more diverse than ever, with a lineup that includes electrified models, a hybrid flagship M-exclusive SUV, and plenty of sensational driver-focused performance creations. However, BMW is on the cusp of a new era with its “Neue Klasse” cars showcasing an entirely new chapter of technology and design for the historic manufacturer, and that includes the M portfolio. In 2027,  the BMW M Neue Klasse will usher in a new generation of high-performance BMW models, and with it, the longstanding M ethos: “Born on the racetrack. Made for the streets. Core of a passionate community,” will take shape in a high-performance, fully-electric drivetrain for the first time. With four electric motors, the upcoming Neue Klasse M model will feature BMW M eDrive, which will boast centrally controlled individual wheel drive, along with 800-volt technology for fast charging and long driving range, combining thrilling performance and dynamics with everyday usability and convenience. The drive system allows for the car to assume the benefits of both rear and all-wheel drive, with the front axle being able to be decoupled for the driving character of rear-wheel drive, as well as greater efficiency on long drives. Ensuring that all-electric BMW M cars have a unique character along with their high-tech performance, features like simulated gear shifts, a unique soundscape, and specific driving modes are added to the mix, as well. Driving dynamics have evolved in the upcoming generation of M cars, with the individual electric motors allowing for an unprecedented level of torque and power control, and the engineering taking advantage of the battery by using it as a structural component of the car that increases stiffness. The use of natural fiber evolves BMW’s commitment to lightweight construction for M models, and also evolves the brand’s approach to sustainability. With cutting-edge technology and a traditional pursuit of performance, BMW’s M Neue Klasse is the future of a legendary performance marque. View All BMW For Sale Image Source: BMW

BMW M Celebrates Record Sales In 2025

Luxury and performance used to be aspects of the automotive industry that didn’t usually mix, but recent years have seen a shift that means more cars than ever combine luxury and performance for a compromise-free driving experience. BMW’s M division is one of the most significant pioneers in that regard, and more than 50 years since M was first established, today’s BMW M lineup is more diverse and innovative than ever before, with hybrid models, SUVs, and more power and daring engineering throughout the lineup than ever before. As 2026 begins, BMW looks back on yet another incredibly successful year for BMW M, its fourteenth consecutive year of record performance. In 2025, sales from BMW M GmbH increased to 213,457 vehicles, which BMW says makes 2025 the seventh consecutive year of it being the most successful brand among its competitors. Throughout the year, nearly every tenth new BMW sold was an M-branded model, and that 10-percent rate highlights incredible demand for BMW’s combination of luxury and performance in its M models. The most popular in 2025 was the X3 M50, while BMW is also citing the M5 Touring and M5 sedan as major growth drivers for the brand. With their V8 hybrid powertrain, the immense amount of power the M5 vanishes makes it a favorite among those who want practicality and performance domination combined. The BMW M3 continues to be a cherished icon among performance enthusiasts, offering purist features like a manual transmission to enthusiasts, as well as the track-focused CS variant and a Touring body style. With a growing presence in the world of motorsport and more sales of its incredibly diverse lineup than ever before, BMW M is dominating the luxury performance automotive landscape. A man in a gray suit leans against a red E30 BMW M3 with a Florida license plate reading "WTBM3." Trees with string lights add to the scene, evoking the bold style of DJ Khaled.

By Jordan Aquistapace –  December 05, 2025

Jay-Z and Lenny S. Gift DJ Khaled a Nostalgic E30 BMW M3 ...

The red , two-door BMW represented the start of friendship, and a musical legacy. When you think of DJ Khaled, the first images that probably come to mind are mansions, private jets, and a garage full of luxury cars. But ask him, and he’d likely tell a different story—one rooted in humble beginnings, relentless work ethic, and a constant grind to hustle and be great. And as he recently celebrated his 50th birthday in Miami, surrounded by friends and family, it's incredible to take a walk down memory lane with DJ Khaled and reminisce on some of the key moments that led to him making his mark on music forever. That nostalgia came to life in the form of a four-wheel icon this year, as DJ Khaled took to Instagram to show fans and followers the moment when longtime friend Lenny S. gifted him an E30 BMW E30 on behalf of himself and Jay-Z. @djkhaled Instagram At first glance, you’re probably wondering where a late 80s M car will sit in a collection of Rolls-Royces and Maybachs, but what you don’t understand is that the E30 M3 represents a pivotal moment in time for Khaled. Along with a small-scale model of the car, framed photos of a young Khaled reveal that at just 15 or 16 years old, the world-renowned music producer and entrepreneur owned that very M3 during his early years and rise to the top of music charts. The two, struck with smiles, continue reminiscing about the now highly collectable M3 and how it ultimately caught fire after Khlaed installed an audio system in it. The real surprise came when Lenny S. walked Khaled outside to his driveway, where a pristine red 1991 BMW E30 M3 sat parked like a blast from the past. @djkhaled Instagram As if things could get any better, the M3 came fitted with a vanity plate that reads “WTB-M3,” which is the original plate that Khaled put on his car. It wasn’t long before he was sitting in the front seat, going on about the days when he was hustling, selling mixtapes and alligator leather shoes out of the trunk. Surrounded by a car collection that spans into the eight-figure mark, the excitement that came from the 34-year-old BMW just shows that nostalgia is what drives our passion for all things automotive, not just price tags. A matte black BMW Z4 convertible sports car is shown in a studio with a red gradient background, highlighting the End of the Road: 2026 BMW Z4 Final Edition Breaks Cover in bold, striking style.

By Khris Bharath –  November 26, 2025

End of the Road: 2026 BMW Z4 Final Edition Breaks Cover

If you want a brand new BMW roadster, the Final Edition marks your last chance before production ends. BMW confirmed the two-seat Z4 will exit the lineup after April 2026, and the Final Edition arrives as a very limited run with one configuration and two transmission choices, closing a chapter that stretches back more than 20 years. The Z4 Final Edition is offered only as an M40i. Output comes from a 3.0-liter straight six with TwinPower Turbo technology that produces 3882 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. You can pair it with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed Steptronic automatic. 60 mph comes up in 3.9 second on the automatic and 4.2 on the manual, with top speed for both variants at 155 mph. The manual version receives chassis tuning unique to the Edition Handschalter package, including auxiliary springs at both axles, a reinforced front anti-roll bar clamp, revised rear damper control mapping, updated variable sport steering software, and adjusted logic for traction control and the M Sport differential. These changes should give the manual car a more connected feel and sharpen response without turning the Z4 into something harsh or punishing. Visually, the Frozen Black metallic BMW Individual paint sets this car apart immediately. It interacts with light in a way that exaggerates the Z4 proportions without feeling forced. The Shadowline package finishes the trim in high gloss black.  It covers the mirror caps, kidney grille, lower intake, air breathers, and exhaust tips. The Moonlight Black soft top and red calipers on the M Sport brakes complete the look. Wheels are staggered with 19-inch M Dual Spoke Bicolor 800M wheels on 255-section performance tires up front. The rear wears 20-inch wheels on 285-section tires. Inside, the Vernasca Leather and Alcantara seats come trimmed with red contrast stitching. The same stitching carries across the dash, center console, and door panels. The M tricolor seatbelts and engraved Z4 Final Edition sill plates remove any doubt about what you are driving. Floor mats include red piping. Standard equipment covers the Driving Assistance Package, Premium Package, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system. Looking back at the Z4, it made its debut back in 2002 as the successor to the Z3. It carried on a lineage that includes the 328 Roadster, iconic 507, and Z8. At its peak in the 2000s and early 2010s, the Z4 took on the likes of the other compact sports cars like the Mercedes SLK, Porsche Boxster, and later the Cayman.  The first generation Z4 answered criticisms of the softer SLK with real torsional stiffness and balance. Against the Porsche Boxster and Cayman, the Z4 earned loyalty quickly from drivers who enjoyed roadster dynamics without seeking mid-engine behavior. The second generation continued that tradition with more potent powertrains, a refreshed look, and introduced the retractable hardtop. Following a showcase of the Z4 Concept in 2017, the third generation returned to a fabric top and debuted at Monterey Car Week in 2018.  While it shares its platform with the Toyota GR Supra, with both cars built at Magna Steyr’s facility in Austria, the two are very different sports cars on a common base. Supra appealed to coupe loyalists and tuning-focused drivers where whereas The Z4, meanwhile, remained committed to open-air dynamics and steering feel. Priced from $77,500 plus $1,175 destination, the Final Edition closes a glorious chapter in BMW history, and if a stick-shift front-engine rear-drive sports car format is something you have long admired, the window to buy one brand-new is short.  View All BMW Z4s For Sale Images: BMW
