Being one of the most followed artists in the world, Drake has built a career that extends well beyond the music industry, and his car collection is a pretty good reflection of that larger-than-life success. Over the years, the Canadian superstar has built an impressive collection featuring everything from the ultra-rare Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR and BRABUS Crawler to a Rolls-Royce Phantom customized by Mansory and a Chrome Hearts-designed Rolls-Royce Cullinan. It’s a collection that spans outside the realm of everyday supercars and multimillion-dollar hypercars, more like one-off creations that leave even seasoned enthusiasts scratching their heads.
Now, Drake is adding another unconventional build to the garage, showing off a one-of-one Mercedes-Benz G-Class Cabriolet-style creation by S-KLUB L.A. that gives the iconic G-Wagon a completely different look. Instead of starting with a modern Mercedes-AMG G 63, S-KLUB L.A. went back to 1999 for the foundation of the G500 Europa. The California-based custom shop completely reworked the SUV into a two-door, open-air Safari Edition, ditching the traditional fixed roof in favor of a custom, paint-matched steel roof rack and tubular roll cage.
Finished in a desert-inspired tan exterior, the build also features widebody fenders, upgraded HELLA lighting, and a completely bespoke interior with custom leather. The factory Mercedes-Benz star has been replaced by a gold-accented OVO owl badge on the front grille, while custom “ICEMAN” lettering across the roof rack ties the one-off G-Wagon into Drake’s latest album era.
As if the G500 Europa Safari Edition wasn’t cool enough, another photo in Drake’s Instagram gallery shows a GMC Typhoon parked in the garage alongside a Rolls-Royce Ghost, further highlighting the rapper’s eclectic taste in all things automotive.
