Ferrari Collector David Lee's First Drive in His $38.5M 250 GTO

Car collectors and enthusiasts may love everything on four wheels, but there are always a few brands that scratch a deeper itch, fueling that passion into a lifelong quest to own the best that one manufacturer has ever built. For Ferrari Brand Ambassador and collector, David Lee, who goes by Ferrari Collector David Lee on social media, describes himself and his love for the Italian prancing horse to a T. What started off as filling a garage with a diverse collection of Ferraris quickly evolved into the dream of owning The Big Five, including the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari. Achieving that dream in a legendary shade of red, David Lee took things to a whole other level, earning his next life goal of owning the same five Ferrari icons in an even more rare color, yellow. Even after sourcing, purchasing, and building the ultimate collection of Ferraris, one car remains the dream of David Lee and every classic Ferrari lover: the Ferrari 250 GTO. That dream came true at Mecum Auctions’ Kissimmee 2026, where he purchased the highly anticipated 250 GTO Bianco Speciale for a whopping $38,500,000. Now that the shock of the historic auction has settled, and the eight-figure Ferrari has finally arrived on the West Coast, to its forever home, David immediately hopped behind the wheel to film content and share this unbelievably memorable moment with fans and followers. The inaugural post on Instagram is a short clip of the only Bianco Speciale 250 GTO shifting through a few gears while on a spirited first drive, with the caption reading, “If you live in LA, you might see the Bianco Speciale in a neighborhood near you....” Following what could only be described as music to our ears, the next post shared features the car beautifully contrasted among the sea of red and yellow, which sits in a class of its own. Sure, it's impressive to see what most see, which happens to be an extraordinary amount of money in one garage, but for Ferrari Collector David Lee and other like-minded purists, it's where a dream, hard work, and legacy of iconic Ferraris intersect. So, you have to wonder what’s next for Ferrari Collector David Lee, maybe red and yellow 250 GTOs. Exclusive Inside Look At DJ Khaled’s Luxury Collection

At some point in your life, you’ve heard, or sung along to, a song by Grammy Award–winner DJ Khaled. His ability to collaborate with virtually any artist and produce irresistibly catchy hits has taken him to the top of the charts time and time again. That success has also handed him the keys to an impressive collection of luxury rides, both on the road and in the air. To learn more about DJ Khaled and what drives him, literally and metaphorically, we joined him, his cars, and his private jet inside his South Florida hangar. Get Your Copy     duPont REGISTRY: DJ Khaled, thank you so much for taking the time to talk with us. Can you tell us a little bit about the Rolls-Royce Phantom?  DJ Khaled: This Rolls-Royce Phantom is probably my third or fourth Phantom. It’s iconic and classic, and you can never go wrong with it, no matter what year it is. This one only has a few thousand miles on it, but it reminds me of the beginning. I remember when they told me I could never have a Phantom. They said that all the time. So I made sure I got the extended version, not the regular Phantom. The long wheelbase, the one you order. They said I couldn’t get certain interiors, so I asked for red guts. I’ve always been a fan of luxury cars since I was a kid. One of my first dream cars was a BMW M3. I had the original one, then the E46. Even when I didn’t have money, I always made sure I got a nice car, even if I missed the car notes and they came to pick it up. It wasn’t about showing off, it was about expressing success. Every car has a story. When I finally got the Phantom, it felt like I pulled off the impossible, and that inspired me to go even bigger. duPont REGISTRY: Can you show us the interior and what makes this a long wheelbase? DJ Khaled: This is the long wheelbase. Look at the seat, I can put my whole feet up. I don’t drive this car, I get driven in it. It’s my office. If it’s an hour drive, it feels like 20 minutes. Back here I’m doing emails, calls, ideas, music, sneakers, merch, movie scripts, and planning the next play. It keeps me inspired, and I’m grateful for that. We do shoots like this to show people they can have this too, if they want it. This car is timeless and a classic. That’s how you start collecting cars. You get one, and before you know it, you have four. duPont REGISTRY: Tell us about this one, the Maybach 62S Landaulet. DJ Khaled: This Maybach Landaulet is serious. There are only a few of these in the U.S. It’s not a regular Maybach. I wish they would go back to this shape. The back seat is one of my favorites. This one has no roof. They told me I could never get a Maybach, so I got a Maybach with no roof. People have offered me millions for it, but I won’t sell it. I made the record ‘Top Off My Maybach’ with JAY-Z, Future, and Beyoncé. While we were working on it, I said I couldn’t make a record like that without living it, so I ordered the Landaulet. This one is special, timeless, and completely factory. I didn’t want to change anything. duPont REGISTRY: And the Virgil Maybach, what does this car mean to you? DJ Khaled: This is one of my favorite cars, and it’s one of my everyday cars. First, it’s from the great Virgil Abloh. Not many people get to collaborate with Maybach and create something of their own. The colorway is incredible. Nobody would have thought to do this. Virgil either took a chance or hit a home run, and he hit a home run. I’ve known Virgil since the early Kanye days, and his vision was unbelievable. He was creating sneakers, clothes, and Maybachs, even things we didn’t know he was working on. This was the hardest car for me to get. I contacted the CEO of Maybach and stayed persistent. Eventually, one became available. When it showed up on the trailer, it was a blessing. duPont REGISTRY: And this one, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan? DJ Khaled: This is my everyday car. If I’m not in my truck, I’m in this. I pull up to golf in it. It has Tiffany seats, which I special ordered. Shoutout to Jen at Rolls-Royce for helping me design it to match my golf bag. Rolls-Royces drive with so much power. I love them. This is the car I use for school drop-offs, pick-ups, and errands. duPont REGISTRY: Let’s talk about the jet. DJ Khaled: Every time I walk into the We The Best air hangar, I remind myself that I worked hard for this. I needed it because the business kept growing. I was traveling from city to city and sometimes three states in a single day. The Global 6500 feels like my living room in the sky. We made the carpet, the seats, and the pillows feel like home. I want peace and comfort when I fly. A jet is like time travel. It saves time and gives you freedom. If it’s raining, we wait. If there’s turbulence, we go around it. And yes, you can fly from Miami to Tokyo nonstop. My favorite memories are with my family. Watching my kids enjoy the life I worked for is priceless. The jet was a dream that became a goal, and then I achieved it. Now I’m thinking about the next jet. duPont REGISTRY: Your work ethic is nonstop. What drives you? DJ Khaled: No one is going to work harder than me. That’s a fact. Teamwork makes the dream work, but I have to get it done. I want to inspire entrepreneurs. There are no shortcuts. Praise God, work hard, go hard, and stay grateful. Everything I do is for my kids and my family. I want them to have seven jets one day, but I want them to know the steps to get there. Gratitude is number one. All these blessings, I thank God for them.

Kevin Hart Channels Bad Boys With A Porsche 964 Turbo

Celebrities have always had a strong influence on the automotive world, and fans love peeking into the garages of the rich and famous to see what kind of cars they choose to drive. For some, it's all about having the latest and greatest with all the options, but for others, like American comedian and actor Kevin Hart, their passion for all things automotive runs deep and is evident in an extensive collection that defines diversity at its best. And it's not something kept behind closed doors for privacy. We’ve all been witnesses to Kevin having a casual conversation in traffic with a celebrity tour bus behind the wheel of a Ferrari 812 Competizione, while on the other end of the spectrum, he’ll be on scene at auction events, taking home pristine classic Chevrolet Corvettes and Buick Grand Nationals. Kevin Hart just recently entered a whole new realm of cool after posting photos of himself beside a gorgeous Porsche 964 Turbo that almost resembles the exact spec from the 1995 film Bad Boys starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. I say "almost" because the 964 Turbo featured in the movie came optioned with black calipers, whereas the one in Kevin’s Instagram post shows bright red calipers. The actual movie car, once owned and sold by Director Michael Bay for $60,000, sold at Mecum Auction Kissimmee in January 2022 for a jaw-dropping $1.43 million. And while we cannot definitively say that this is Kevin Hart’s car, we know that he enjoyed some time inside the car, captioning the post with “Vintage Cruises on a Sunday…. #LilSwag” The Porsche 911 Turbo (964) marked an important evolution of the Turbo lineage when it debuted in the early 1990s, bringing together the best classic air-cooled character with serious performance upgrades. Initially launched in 1990 with a 3.3L turbocharged flat-six producing around 320 horsepower, it sat at the top of the 964 series, portrayed by its wide body, iconic rear wing, and purposeful stance. In 1993, Porsche introduced the more powerful 3.6L version, increasing power to 360 horsepower. Both versions kept the raw, rear-wheel-drive nature that defined earlier Turbos, delivering a demanding but rewarding driving experience. Today, the 964 Turbo is widely regarded as a pivotal air-cooled 911, bridging old-school Turbo intensity with a more modern sense of class and collectibility. Last Chance: Celebrity-Owned Porsche 911 S/T Closing Today on duPont REGISTRY Live

Porsche has built plenty of special 911s over the decades, but few modern examples carry the same weight as the 911 S/T. Created to mark 60 years of 911, the S/T is all about going back to the basics, mechanical feel, and simplicity. Now, one of the most compelling examples available is up for auction on duPont REGISTRY Live, closing later today. This particular 2024 Porsche 911 S/T comes with just 253 miles on the odometer and was previously owned by the lead man of Maroon 5, who is a well-known Porsche enthusiast with a reputation for carefully curated, driver-focused cars. Adding celebrity provenance further elevates its appeal, and that association alone gives this S/T a narrative that goes beyond production numbers and option codes. Finished in Shore Blue Metallic and specified with the Heritage Design Package, this particular example leans heavily into its commemorative role. Gold badging, Exclusive Design taillights, PDLS+ LED matrix headlights, and Heritage details throughout set it apart visually. Inside, Black and Classic Cognac leather, Sport Seats Plus, the Chrono Package, Bose surround sound, and an individually numbered limited-edition plaque complete the cabin. Nearly $37,000 in factory options were selected, including front axle lift and the extended range fuel tank. <- Gallery -> At its core, the S/T pairs the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat six from the GT3 RS with a traditional six-speed manual transmission. Output sits at 518 horsepower, with a 9,000 rpm redline and no turbocharging or electrification. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through a mechanical, limited-slip differential and six-speed manual transmission, reinforcing Porsche’s intent to prioritize driver involvement. 60 mph comes up in roughly 3.7 seconds, with top speed capped at 186 mph. What truly defines the S/T, however, is weight reduction. Carbon fiber body panels, magnesium center lock wheels, lightweight glass, and a pared-back interior make it the lightest 992-based 911 ever produced, tipping the scales at just over 3,000 pounds. Unlike the GT3 RS, the S/T does away with the fixed wings, active aero, and rear wheel steering, resulting in a cleaner silhouette and a more traditional road-focused character. Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes come standard. Limited to just 1,963 units worldwide and offered only with a manual gearbox, the 911 S/T is already viewed as an end-of-era Porsche GT car. Often compared to the 991.1 911R, market demand has remained strong since launch, with values frequently exceeding original MSRP. With ultra-low miles, careful preservation, and previous celebrity ownership, this celebrity-owned 911 S/T represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable modern-day 911s ever built. Last Chance: Bon Jovi-Owned "Eleanor" Being Auctioned

There have been countless Eleanor tributes over the years, but this example carries a level of provenance that sets it apart. With a story worth exploring, this 1968 Ford Mustang GT500 Eleanor is now crossing the digital auction block on duPont REGISTRY Live. What's the secret behind this example? At first glance, this Mustang commands attention with Pepper Silver paint and bold black Le Mans-style stripes that instantly evoke one of the most recognizable silhouettes in American automotive mythology. The Eleanor design, made famous by its role in the 2000 action film Gone in 60 Seconds, has become a must-have for collectors around the world and has inspired thousands of tribute builds. What sets this Mustang apart on the auction block is its previous ownership by rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, a layer of cultural resonance that adds narrative weight and collector appeal beyond typical spec sheets and body kits. <- Gallery -> In terms of the mechanics and specifics, this 1968 Fastback swaps its original 289-cubic-inch V8 for a beefier 351 Cleveland V8, paired with a traditional 4-speed manual transmission. Performance-oriented upgrades like Baer four-wheel power disc brakes and a Holley performance carburetor elevate the car’s capability well above stock ’60s machinery without sacrificing its character. Step inside and the cabin stays true to classic Mustang roots while tastefully acknowledging Shelby heritage. Branded seating, a wood-rim Shelby steering wheel, Simpson racing harnesses, and auxiliary gauges nod to both performance intent and bespoke craftsmanship. Although true mileage can’t be independently verified due to the nature of the build, the odometer reflects just 691 miles, underscoring how lightly this restomod has been enjoyed since completion. Paul Walker’s 2 Fast 2 Furious Evo VII Is Now for Sale wi...

From the big screen to your garage space. For a lot of us who grew up obsessed with cars, it’s hard to deny that The Fast & the Furious had something to do with it. The franchise didn’t just give us big-screen action—it introduced an entire generation to a wild mix of cars that became icons in their own right, rolling pieces of entertainment history that still fuel our enthusiasm for all things automotive today. And while we all have a favorite movie in the series, whether it's The Fast & the Furious (2001) that started the legacy or the change in scenery with Tokyo Drift (2006), that nostalgia for the cars and the drivers will forever live on as a link to car culture as a whole. One of those legendary cars shapes itself as a heavily modified Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, driven by the late Paul Walker, who played the role of undercover detective Brian O’Connor. Now recognized as one of the most influential movie cars ever showcased on the big screen, the team at LRA Auto Museum and Sales is proud to present the actual 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII stand-in car featured in 2 Fast 2 Furious as part of its impressive inventory of exotics for sale on duPont REGISTRY. While sourcing and acquiring any Mitsubishi Evo in perfect condition proves to be a near-impossible task in itself, this specific example takes its significance and celebrity status even a step further, as the odometer only reads 932 miles. That’s right, in addition to owning a piece of cinema history, this is also the opportunity to buy a practically brand-new Evolution VII. Its condition remains pristine, as it was used primarily for close-up, detailed shots and was never actually raced in scenes. Legally imported to the U.S. for the movie, which was released at the same time as the 2003 Mitsubishi Evo’s debut in the U.S. market, the car still sports the same vibrant green, blue, and silver movie livery. Under the hood, the Evo VII houses its classic rally-bred 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, a punchy little engine that delivers quick spool, sharp throttle response, and enough cinematic “go” to match Brian O’Conner’s style. It sends power through a five-speed manual and Mitsubishi’s famed all-wheel-drive system, giving the car that planted feel. Inside, it’s all early-2000s functionality, simple gauges, snug Recaros, and just enough tech to feel modern without losing that raw, analog charm, making it one of the more believable, genuinely enthusiast-friendly cars to ever wear the franchise’s hero colors. Fernando Alonso Enjoys a Proper Sunday Drive in his Aston...

Now we know what scratches the itch for a two-time Formula One World Drivers’ Champion. For most car lovers, it doesn’t take much to get the heart rate up; anything north of 400 horsepower, a clear stretch of road, and the right soundtrack will do the trick. But what about the drivers who spend their working lives north of 200 mph, braking impossibly late and living on the limit every other weekend? When that level of speed is your day job, it brings up the question: what, if anything, still scratches the itch for someone lucky enough to call themselves a Formula 1 driver? Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team driver Fernando Alonso gave us all a peek into what delivers that thrill for him, and it takes shape as Aston Martin’s V12-powered Valiant. Fernando took to Instagram yesterday to share photos of his casual Sunday drive through the hills of Monaco in his $2.5 million limited-production hypercar. The Valiant exists because even Aston Martin understands that some drivers want more than horsepower and modern tech; they want something raw, loud, and visceral. It’s a car built to feel closer to the company’s racing soul, stripping things back and turning the volume up for the kind of drivers, like Fernando Alonso, who still crave a challenge behind the wheel. With only 38 examples built for the world, Alonso’s stands out with a sinister exposed carbon finish that reveals its ultra-lightweight DNA and focus on delivering an unwavering driving experience. One of the most notable characteristics of his configuration has to be the aero-style monoblock wheels, adding a contemporary touch that blends with the body instead of stealing the show. The Instagram post even gave us a look inside where Aston Martin displays its exposed six-speed manual transmission like a work of art in a museum, offering the sounds and feels that check off all the boxes for a truly analog experience. At the heart of the Aston Martin Valiant is a twin-turbocharged 5.2L V12, the kind of engine that feels increasingly rare, and increasingly special, by the day. It sends 745 horsepower and 753 lb-ft of torque straight to the rear wheels through a proper six-speed manual gearbox, a choice that says everything about what this car is trying to be. There’s no electrification or trickery, just massive power, a clutch pedal, and the expectation that the driver is fully engaged. The result is a sub-three-second sprint to 60 mph and a top speed well north of 200 mph, delivered in a package that is less of a modern supercar and more like a last stand for old-school Aston Martin. Tim Allen’s 2017 Ford GT Heads to Auction in January 2026

If you’ve ever wanted to own a Ford GT with Hollywood provenance, this may be your chance. This 2017 Ford GT, previously owned by actor/comedian Tim Allen (serial no. H074 and VIN: 2FAGP9CW3HH200074), is heading to Barrett-Jackson’s 2026 Scottsdale auction through Silver Arrow Cars Ltd. One of roughly 1,350 examples built, the car only has 937 original miles on the odometer.  Tim took delivery of this GT through Galpin Ford in Los Angeles, one of the country’s top performance dealers. Finished in Ingot Silver with optional gloss carbon-fiber accents and matching 20-inch wheels, it’s fitted with a Heffner titanium exhaust, factory-protected paint film, and blue-finished calipers. Inside, carbon-backed Sparco seats trimmed in Alcantara match the “Dark Energy” theme. The cabin also includes a driver-adjustable pedal box, air conditioning, and a touchscreen infotainment unit, rare civility in such a hardcore machine. Ford engineered the third-generation GT to prove a point. Developed with the Chip Ganassi Racing program that took a class win at Le Mans in 2016, exactly 50 years after the historic win in 1966. It is as close as you can get to a race car with license plates.  At its heart lies a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 that produces 647 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. Mated to a seven-speed Getrag dual-clutch gearbox, it launches from zero to 60 mph in three seconds and can hit 216 mph flat out. It can generate 1.11 g of lateral grip and stop from 70 mph in just 145 feet. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and lightweight carbon-fiber wheels keep it razor-sharp under pressure. The chassis is a carbon-fiber monocoque built by Multimatic in Canada, complete with FIA-legal roll cage sections hidden in the roof. The hydraulically controlled pushrod suspension tech is straight from endurance racing. The body’s teardrop profile, flying buttresses, and active rear wing manage airflow, cooling, and downforce. The GT sits just 43.7 inches tall, and if you switch into Track Mode, it drops another two inches.  When new, Ford handpicked every owner through a private application process. Allen’s inclusion wasn’t a surprise given his racing history and long connection with Ford performance. Tim sold the car in October with 671 miles. The car was subsequently offered for sale by its second owner with 739 miles in 2022. Now, this low-mileage preserved GT with 937 miles is once again hitting the market with full documentation and accessories, and its original exhaust. For those who follow Ford’s history, this car connects decades of heritage from the GT40’s 1966 Le Mans triumph to the GT’s 2016 win. Expect Tim Allen’s GT to draw intense interest when it crosses the block this January; it’s a rare combination of technology, provenance, and American racing heritage.  View Listing Images: Barrett-Jackson

Cleetus McFarland Adds More Power and a Sequential Gearbo...

The Rat Rod Supra makes its return to McFarland Racing. While modern-day supercars and hypercars come packed with plenty of power from the factory, often sending more than 1,000 horsepower to the wheels, tuning shops and modifiers pride themselves on going head-to-head with expensive exotics in cars a fraction of the price and more than a decade older. The MKIV Toyota Supra remains a cult classic that fits the mold, showcasing a timeless design made famous by the Fast & Furious movie series and an upgradable 2JZ engine platform capable of producing more than 2,000 horsepower. If you're a die-hard Cleetus McFarland fan like I am, then you're probably familiar with the "Rat Rod" Supra that the YouTuber added to his collection almost 2 years ago. And if you need a subtle reminder of Cleetus' ongoing ownership with the JDM icon, the Supra spent much of its life on 2-step or making blistering pulls with friends in the passenger seat. Since then, Cleetus' Rat Rod Supra received some subtle upgrades from Induction Performance to ditch its previous 1,300 horsepower setup for something more special. Delivered on a flatbed sporting the same sun-soaked and faded paint job since its first appearance on the channel, Cleetus and the team wasted no time getting the Supra unloaded to put it to the test. Underneath its unsuspicious appearance lies only what's best described as a dream build for anyone who dreams of owning a Toyota Supra. Its once-factory 3.0L inline-six engine, producing less than 300 crank horsepower, has been bored and stroked to a 3.4L and fitted with a massive single turbo to produce over 1,500 horsepower. But the real surprise comes when you open the door to an almost pristine, factory interior where a massive carbon sequential transmission shifter replaces the stock 6-speed. Add in a gear gauge, rolling anti-lag, and multiple power settings, and you've got an 8-second street car in disguise. While a full breakdown of the build and some rowdy parking lot 2-step checks entertained the guys for the first few minutes, it was only moments before Cleetus and George had the Supra out on the street, testing out the sequential transmission and the ingenious rev-matching achieved by the team at Induction Performance. And while we could sit here and talk about how blistering fast the new setup is, you'll have to click below to watch Cleetus McFarland put the pedal to the metal in his newly upgraded 1,500-horsepower "Rat Rod" Toyota Supra with Mr. Sam sitting passenger. Zlatan Ibrahimović Poses for Instagram on the Roof of His...

That's a $10+ million photo right there! Throughout its illustrious history as one of the most recognized manufacturers in the world, Ferrari has dreamed up and created some of the most legendary and celebrated supercars ever. From early Ferrari icons like the 250 GTO to modern marvels like the all-new F80, the Italian marque portions its busy production schedule for ultra-exclusive models bought by VIP clients. And while you may think that anyone with the means to afford one of these cars is given the opportunity to own them, Ferrari actually hand-selects limited-production model owners based on factors such as brand awareness, spending history, and, of course, what currently lies in the collection. For soccer phenomenon Zlatan Ibrahimović and his fleet of Italian prancing horses, he proves to be the perfect candidate for Ferrari's best of the best. Zlatan Ibrahimović is making waves on social media after recently sharing a photo on Instagram of himself posing on top of his Ferrari Enzo and Ferrari LaFerrari. The $10+ million photo comes just after spending some time in the Ferrari F80 design studio with Design Director Flavio Manzoni, a future glimpse at the next Italian hypercar to join the stable of Ferraris. Zlatan's Ferrari Enzo, named and engineered as an homage to the brand's founder, comes finished in a traditional Rosso Corsa finish and has skyrocketed in value well past the $5 million mark. As for the coveted Ferrari LaFerrari, and its status as one of the 'Holy Trinity' hybrid hypercars, it sports a vibrant Giallo Modena finish and also joins the Enzo as a seven-figure model that continues to appreciate by the day. While we may never actually know every car in Zlatan's collection, it's examples like his Daytona SP3, LaFerrari, Enzo, Monza SP2, and 812 Competizione A that make him a super-qualified buyer for Ferrari's most exclusive cars. And until the future delivery day of his upcoming F80 hypercar, Zlatan Ibrahimović will have to keep himself occupied with one of the many limited-production Ferrari supercars and hypercars in his garage.
