Lexus is Teasing a Wild Electric Concept Car

Coming to the 46th Tokyo Motor Show is a new Lexus concept car that looks to pave the way for the automaker's future. This unrevealed concept car will be an electric model that's unlike anything they've made thus far. Alongside the electrification, this concept will also feature autonomous abilities. Lexus says this concept "offers a glimpse into Lexus’ future vision, which caters to consumers who are equally passionate about driving and uniquely crafted luxury experiences." Lexus GXOR Concept is Ready for Anything Off-Road

It's not often that you hear about a Lexus off-road vehicle, but here I am, writing about the automaker's new GXOR Concept. If its brutish appearance wasn't enough to convince you of its off-roading prowess, its name is actually an acronym for "GX Off-Road". There are a lot of upgrades that make this concept SUV ready for anything off of the beaten path. This includes the Rigid 50-inch light bar, Icon Suspension, General Tire Grabber X3 tires (275/70/18), Overland Solar 160-watt panel, MaxTrax recovery boards, Patriot Campers X1H trailer and a whole lot more. Check it out in action for yourself in the video down below. browse all lexus for sale " width="680">

Lexus & Marvel Unveil Two "Black Panther" Inspired Cars

Looking back into their massive history, Marvel Studios is poised to release their 18th motion picture. Black Panther was introduced by Stan Lee back in 1966. The hero can be found alongside the Fantastic Four and the Avengers, so Lexus has decided to give him two new custom rides. In a press release this morning, we've learned he will receive a 2018 LC 500 Inspiration Series, along with a custom build inspired by the LC series. The first will be a limited production sports car for sale, and the latter will be a hero car for the film. Are They Worthy of The Sultan of Brunei? The "Inspiration Series" is something new from Lexus. Intended to be a limited production variant of each model, the LC will be the launch of the series. Only 100 cars are planned for production, with each one taking inspiration from the comic book. King T'Challa and his home country of Wakanda are embodied by 21" forged wheels, unique carbon fiber scuff plates, and the first application of "Structural Blue". Pioneered by parent company Toyota, the new paint contains no blue pigment. Some microscopic wizardry is used to create the same effect of 40 coats of normal paint. Pricing will be announced when production begins next year. The other car is the Black Panther Inspired LC. Following the story from the comics, it incorporates mythical "Vibranium" for added power and strength. An LED underglow mimicks the Vibranium effects on screen. The self-healing paint is infused with the wonder metal, emphasized in a wide body kit. The Wakandans developed a brain-computer interface that allows the car to be remotely controlled to keep the hero out of danger. Look for it on the big screen and the Inspiration Series LC 500 at your local Lexus dealer.Lexus For Sale

Lexus UX Concept Makes 3D Driving a Thing

Looking like something out of Minority Report, the new Lexus UX  Concept brings the driving experience and holograms together. This futuristic SUV brings 3D out of the movie theaters and into the cockpits of vehicles. To start, the "driver's instrument binnacle houses a transparent globe, which floats, "in the manner of a hologram." To function, the binnacle fuses together analog and digital technology. Additionally, a "crystal structure" is featured in the center console which has a hologram display that controls the infotainment and air conditioning systems.(Related - Pininfarina to Actually Sell the Bizarre H2 Speed Concept)The most innovative electric technology available will control windows and mirrors, and a new sound experience will be offered through a removable soundbar rather than the standard speaker system.
