The Bridge: A Look At One Of The Most Exclusive Car Events

The Bridge is one of the most exciting events of the year, if not THE most exciting. Everyone in the automotive space looks forward to attending and anxiously waits for their invitation to arrive. And if you’re lucky enough to receive an invite, you are welcomed into a car-lovers paradise, a luxurious and laid-back affair that is set against the backdrop of the picturesque Bridge Golf Course. Due to the exclusivity of The Bridge, Shamin Abas, Jeffrey Einhorn, and Bob Rubin organize auxiliary events that allow everyone to be a part of the action. The Bridge at Topping Rose House typically occurs the Sunday following the event. The manicured lawn features a spectacular array of rare cars and inside the house you are treated to a delicious brunch, prepared by celebrated chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Also on Sunday, there is a Cars and Coffee event that is open to the public, allowing those who miss out on Saturday’s excitement to get glimpses of the amazing cars and vendors from the main event. It is presented by Ryan Friedman Motorcars and features a ton of incredible cars. The team has worked hard to curate an action-packed weekend for automotive enthusiasts from around the world. Photo by Michael Foster Photo by Tony Laiacona Shamin Abas, Robert Rubin, Jeffrey Einhorn by Jared Siskin PMC This year deviated from years past as inclement weather threatened Saturday’s schedule. The Bridge team had to make an extremely difficult decision: they were forced to cancel the Saturday event. But all was forgiven as they organized an incredible Friday evening where attendees and vendors had the chance to enjoy food and drinks while ogling the beautiful cars surrounding the Bridge Clubhouse. Sunday made for a relaxing morning as we gathered at Topping Rose and were greeted by breathtaking automobiles like the Sacrilege Motors electric 964 cab and beautifully prepared food. And with that, the exciting weekend came to a close. The Bridge is unmatched by any other event in the automotive industry, and if you have the unique experience of being invited, you must go! The Bridge VI: An Event In A League Of Its Own

As you step off the luxury shuttle to enter the event, and you look out over the field past the Richard Mille Boutique and the Rolls-Royce ice cream station, you begin to realize that The Bridge is unlike any automotive event on the planet. The story begins in 1957 when The Bridgehampton Race Circuit opened its gates with its beachy feel and stunning views of the ocean. It was an extremely demanding racetrack in an unimaginable location. Mario Andretti, Stirling Moss, and even Paul Newman spent time racing there and all had incredible things to say about the thrilling danger of its blind corners and infamous hills.  (All Images Taken By Kieran Buttrick) When the track closed and was turned into a luxury golf course, Bob Rubin, Shamin Abas, and Jeffrey Einhorn took matters into their own hands and created this exclusive annual event in this historic and iconic location. The team was able to seamlessly intertwine the glories of the automotive past with the advancements of the future. It preserves and strides ahead in a way that is unmatched by anyone else in the industry.    We here at duPont REGISTRY attend exclusive events around the globe, many of which of them manage to have the same look and feel––rows of booths snaking through impressively designed displays, with the occasional auction here and there. They are either hyper-focused on the latest launch from manufacturers or on the judging of the world's premier cars on the concours lawn.  That is why The Bridge is in a league of its own, it has an entirely different feel.  Let me explain: although the event has sponsors and vendors like any other, they place them throughout the event in a way that gives you a sense of discovery, the sense that you have just happened across them on your own. Nothing is in your face and everyone and everything feels approachable. Not to mention the fact that the field is filled with the top people in the automotive industry and beyond. As you walk throughout the field you hear passionate conversations between people connecting over their love of cars. From the top people at massive luxury automotive brands to Jon Bon Jovi, everyone gets to share this magical experience.  The event's vibe and feel were second to none, but, let's be honest: we were there for the cars. The entrance was filled with all of the latest and greatest Super and Hypercars starting with the all-new Delage D12 and then down the line to our friends at Hennessy, Rimac, Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, Koenigsegg, Pagani, and much more. Each brand brought out its latest and greatest model in order to create an array of automotive metal that many will never get the chance to see. As you made your way down to the lower fields it was as though you had gone back in time to see the world’s most unique pieces of automotive history. The first thing that stood out was not only one, but two DeTomaso Guara’s, something that very few have ever seen. And that was just the beginning; these incredible vehicles––whether they be race cars or the dozens finished in Mint Green––were strategically parked by their owners and collectors throughout the multiple show fields in a way that kept you engaged the entire time.  And just when I thought I had seen everything, I walked down what used to be the main straight through a narrow path. And there, perched on top of a hill, was a 1960 Porsche 718 RS 60 and a 1969 Porsche 908-02. Two cars with insane provenance right there before my eyes. Not to mention a handful of AMG Hammers, a Chromaflair GT2RS, the all-new Kimera––I could go on for days.  Overlooking the event from the far end, with the sun setting behind my back and a selection of expertly curated vehicles as far as the eye can see, I couldn’t have been happier about my trip to the northeast. I don't plan on ever missing this event in the years to come. The Bridge has continued to grow for the past 6 plus years, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. Mark your calendars for September 23rd, 2023; you do not want to miss The Bridge VII.

Four Seasons and Canossa Events Partner To Create A Bespo...

A drive through Tuscany in your favorite car is the stuff of dreams. With incredible views, food, and even better roads, this part of the world was almost built to be enjoyed behind the wheel. No one knows this better than Canossa Events, a leading global provider of curated driving experiences, which partnered with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts to create an exclusive week-long drive through the Italian countryside. It's called "Beyond by Four Seasons, An Exclusive Driving Journey Through Tuscany" and delivers one of the most enjoyable and luxurious experiences available anywhere in the world.  The home base for this week-long adventure is the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, located in Florence. It's a 710,000-square-foot property that opened its doors in 2008 and hosts off-site activities such as golfing, horseback riding, and tennis. The experience begins with a welcome dinner at the hotel's Faggio Garden ahead of the first drive the following day. From there, guests hop in their vehicle of choice for drives through routes created by combining Canossa Events' extensive knowledge of the area and local recommendations. In terms of cars, attendees can either bring along a vehicle or select from various classic and luxury sports cars made available by the on-site guest services team. Every part of this experience is curated to maximize enjoyment and allow guests to explore Tuscany fully. As Four Seasons President of Hotel and Resorts, Christian Clerc states:  "We came together with Canossa Events to create something truly spectacular for our guests – an ultra-luxury drive adventure where the journey is to be enjoyed just as much as the destination. Against the backdrop of the Tuscan countryside, punctuated by the region's best wine and culinary offerings and delivered by our talented and caring craftspeople, Beyond by Four Seasons sets a new standard for luxury road travel." There's more to this exclusive event than just curated drives. Throughout the week, guests are treated to private tours, wine tasting at storied locations such as the Antinori Cellars, and access to venues not ordinarily open to the public. This includes a Florentine dining experience followed by an evening at the Opera.  These private experiences were only made possible by the direct involvement of Florence Mayor Dario Nardella, who stated, "Our unique collaboration gives travelers a rare view of the region's must-see sites, hidden routes, and best-kept secrets – the makings of an incredibly memorable Italian holiday." Beyond by Four Seasons is the result of a partnership between one of the world's most luxurious hospitality companies and leading events curating firm sharing their vast knowledge to create experiences that can't be replicated by the public, as Canosaa Events Chairman and CEO Luigi Orlandini states: "Partnering with Four Seasons, we have designed an incredibly unique offering, allowing guests to enjoy every special moment spent on the road and inspiring them to immerse themselves in the splendors of all that Tuscany can offer." 2022 marked Beyond by Four Seasons' first year, spanning six nights from September 24th to 30th. Although exact vehicle participation is kept private, this year's attendees brought out a wide variety of cars, ranging from 1950s sports cars to the latest hypercars and EVs. Regardless of what machine they pick, a high level of tailoring and attention to detail allows Beyond by Four Seasons to treat these few automotive enthusiasts to the drive of a lifetime. Festival Del Toro Rally 2022 Recap

Presented by Festival Del Toro. The first Festival Del Toro rally in collaboration with Lamborghini Paramus, and the third in total, has come and gone, leaving behind incredible photos and participants who will never forget the experience. Nicknamed the "Rilevare," which translates to "the takeover," this rally had approximately 57 Lamborghinis showing up in total for the event. (Images by @Great.dt) To start off the rally, all participants enjoyed breakfast together at Lamborghini Paramus, getting a chance to know each other and also putting their respective decals on their Lamborghinis. Next, the group left the dealership and headed towards their next stop, traversing through the backroads near Paramus, New Jersey. Staying as a "herd," the group arrived at their destination, High Point Lookout which is the highest peak in New Jersey. It was at this spot that the participants regrouped and enjoyed the view before heading toward their final destination in Morristown, NJ. The destination? the 5-star restaurant 1776 by David Burke. Each participant enjoyed a 4-course meal with celebrity chef David Burke in attendance. As a nice cherry-on-top, thanks to the mayor of Morristown and David Burke's team, the rally was able to reserve 60 spots in front of the restaurant with police officers reserving the spots. This allowed all of the Lamborghini to put on a beautiful lineup in the center of Morristown Square. The 3rd Festival Del Toro was a fantastic event that gave all participants an unforgettable day of luxury and Lamborghinis that they'll never forget. Be sure to be on the lookout for the fourth event!

The Carrera GT Rally: A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

With automotive experiences gaining popularity, there are many to choose from. However, they are not all equal, especially those looking for a more high-end or luxurious event. For Luxury Rally Club, they have set the bar quite high for niche, luxury experiences with their recent Carrera GT Rally. This extraordinary event was designed for the legendary Carrera GT supercar and, of course, the owners of the car. (Images by Drake O'Konski, Video by Issac Flores and Danny Fuentes) It's rare to see such an iconic and unique car like the Carrera GT amongst others of its kind but the Carrera GT Rally saw 10 grouped up for an experience of a lifetime. In fact, the only other cars to partake in the rally were support vehicles that were on hand to assist the rally-goers. While the cars were a magnificent sight to see, it's the overall experience of this rally that really set it apart from others. For the Carrera GT Rally, the event started off on Sunday, May 27th, when the attendees gathered at the Alila Napa Valley, California. The day continued with cocktails being served and everyone enjoying the many Carrera GTs in attendance. From there, the rally enjoyed a fine dining experience at the luxurious hotel where everyone had a chance to get excited about the week ahead together. It was on Monday, May 23rd that the Carrera GT Rally set off from the Alila Napa Valley and made its way through a stupendous day towards dinner at The French Laundry, a Three Michelin Star restaurant. Before the magical dinner, the rally cruised the Shoreline Highway to Hog Island Oyster Co. for a waterfront lunch and had a chance to relax. For dinner, the entire rally was treated to a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience at The French Laundry, recognized as one of the best restaurants in the entirety of the United States. While it's difficult enough to procure a seat at this restaurant, it's even more difficult to reserve the entire establishment. However, that's exactly what the team at Luxury Rally Club did for the Carrera GT Rally. Being able to offer transformative stops along the rally is what sets LRC's events apart from the rest. The next day, Tuesday, May 24th, the Carrera GT Rally departed from a second night at the Alila Napa Valley hotel to Bahtenta Grill where beautiful views of the valley and delicious foods were had. After lunch, the rally took off for Hotel Healdsburg where they would spend their last night of the experience. Before saying farewell on Wednesday, however, the attendees were treated to a stunning dinner at Aperture Cellars. At the beautiful Aperture Cellars, the attendees enjoyed dinner while awards were handed out for the rally. This winery was a perfect endpoint for the lavish rally as its surroundings are picturesque and the grounds were ideal for photographing the gang of Porsche Carrera GTs. But, of course, all good things come to an end as the rally ended the next morning. Although the Carrera GT Rally has ended, that doesn't mean it's all over as the team at Luxury Rally Club is gearing up for even more events. As they should be after receiving rave reviews from their rally attendees. Here are just a couple of testimonials for those who partook in the Carrera GT Rally. "Thanks Luxury Rally Club for putting together the best rally I've been on!  We enjoyed Northern California to its finest.  I am impatiently waiting for the next one!" Jimmy Prountzos Luxury Rally Club, put together a Carrera GT rally that dreams are made of!  His team, the routes, and the dinners surpassed all our expectations. When’s the next one!?  Mel Cacho We expect to see many more experiences from LRC in the near future, as well as even more attendees with great things to say. LRC founder Trevor Johnson notes that they’re currently planning on several events around  Monterey Car Week and then a Mercedes-Benz 300SL rally that will see up to 50 examples of the classic automobile attend. Be on the lookout for what’s next from Luxury Rally Club.  Visit LuxuryRallyClub.com Images by Drake O'Konski
