Pablo Escobar's 1974 Porsche 911 RSR Race Car Is for Sale...

Many may not know this, but Pablo Escobar used to race cars. Yes, in the 1970s Escobar actually took part in Colombia's Copa Renault 4 and was in second place after six races. The car he drove was a 1974 Porsche 911 RSR that was previously driven by Emerson Fittipaldi in the IROC series. Escobar, however, had the 911 RSR equipped with a 935-style slant nose kit. This exact car is now for sale at Atlantis Motor Group. After being professionally restored to its original appearance, including the IROC Fittipaldi livery, this 911 RSR is in immaculate condition. It features excellent documentation, including the Assignment from Volkswagen of America to Penske Productions, North Lake Porsche and John Tunstall. Only 15 examples of the 1974 911 RSR were created, making this a true opportunity to own a piece of history. Click the button below to learn more about this historic race car. View Price and Listing

This example is finished in the iconic Guards Red paint which is as vibrant as ever and is one of just two examples finish in this paint. Inside is a black leather and Alcantara interior. But it's not just the exclusivity that drives people towards the CTR3, it's also its style and power. Underneath the body lies a chassis based on the Porsche 997 Turbo and 987 Cayman. TECHART 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S for Sale

Gulf Motorsports is currently selling a stunning 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera S that has been fully enhanced with a TECHART kit. Within this kit is a long list of components that transform the 911 Carrera S into an aggressive, yet stylish and refined sports car. The complete kit includes the front spoiler lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof wing and, last but not least, the rear wing. If you take a close look at the rear wing, you'll notice that it appears to be floating. To do this, TECHART employed the use of Makrolon, a glass-like material. So, while the wing appears to be attached to the car via the central upright, there are actually two more uprights flanking the central one. All of these modifications are further enhanced by the black paint that's contrasted by the green on the rear badging, diffuser and front spoiler lip. Other modifications for this 911 Carrera S include the H&R lowering springs, wheel spacers, front-end wrapped in Xpel, OEM clear front side markers, and custom-painted calipers. As for the factory options, there's the Premium Package, Multifunction GT Sport steering wheel, electric slide/tilt glass sunroof, lane change assist, Porsche crest on the front headrests and Carrera Classic Wheels. Gulf Motorsports purchased this car new and it has only 1k miles on its odometer. Black-on-Black Porsche 918 Spyder w/ Weissach Pkg. for Sa...

There is no place quite like Canepa out there. If you ever have the chance to visit their facility, it would be wise to not miss the opportunity. Canepa's showroom floor is filled with some of the world's finest automobiles, ranging from modern hypercars to classic race cars that you would never expect to be for sale. On top of their wide selection of incredible vehicles, Canepa also has their own restoration facility and a motorsport museum. If you're a collector, or even a photographer, Canepa is a goldmine. Canepa currently has a 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder that is in impeccable condition. Only 628 miles have been recorded on its odometer, putting it in "barely driven" status in our books. What's more, it comes with the Weissach package, a must-have for the 918 Spyder. Learn more about this incredible German hypercar by reading Canepa's description of it below. "By 2010, Porsche was already regarded as a sports car powerhouse. Having developed and released not one but two world-renowned supercars, the Porsche 959 and Carrera GT, rumors began circling the automotive landscape that the German company was planning their next endeavor. Those rumors were confirmed upon the release of the concept car at the 80th Geneva Motor Show in March of 2010: The Porsche 918 Spyder. Porsche would take three years before unveiling the production model at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, but Porsche’s introduction was clear: their hypercar was here. Boasting a marvel of technological wizardry, the 918 Spyder was Porsche’s answer to the ever-evolving and skyrocketing performance standards. The 918 Spyder uses a 4.6-liter V8 engine based on the same underpinnings as the RS Spyder LeMans Prototype, but the real news was the supplemental drivetrain. Porsche added two large electric motors to boost performance: one to drive the front axle and another to supplement the engine. This all-wheel drive hybrid drivetrain yielded an astounding 875 horsepower and 944lb/ft of torque, good for a 0-60 time of 2.4 seconds. With Porsche producing only 918 examples of this hybrid hypercar, it is an exceedingly rare car that is packed with an immense amount of performance wrapped in an easy-to-use package. This Porsche 918 Spyder was completed on November 1st, 2014 and was optioned in Black over an Onyx Black leather interior. This particular example was optioned with the $84,000 Weissach Package option, which emphasized weight savings through a few particular options and added a few aerodynamic tweaks. Approximately 25% of production were optioned with this factory upgrade, making them extremely rare. Some of these options included magnesium motorsport wheels, a lighter brake design, titanium bolts for the chassis, along with special rear carbon fiber spoilers. These weight savings removed close to 100 pounds from the chassis, a considerable amount since the hybrid powertrain is not what many call lightweight. Ordered with the must-have $10,500 Front axle lift system option, this allows the 918 to travel on regular roads with ease. With silver leather piping and silver accents to the black seatbelts, the entire car is subtle and flies under the radar (perfect for avoiding unwanted attention). The only owner of this 918 took delivery of the car and immediately applied a comprehensive clear protective wrap to the car to ensure the black paint stayed in pristine condition. During his ownership, he would only add 628 miles to the odometer, evident in how every part of the car presents in as-new condition.  When the car arrived at Canepa, there was very little to address due to its well-cared-for history and lack of mileage. With only needing a simple cleaning to the interior, the entire car presents as though you were picking it up from a Porsche showroom. With a subtle exterior and interior that belies its true raw and technologically-advanced nature, this 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder with the Weissach Package is Porsche’s ultimate street fighter disguised in plain sight." 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 for Sale

By 2011, the 991 series Porsche 911 was almost production-ready. So in order to give the 997 series a proper farewell, the 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 received some serious upgrades. By taking the crankshaft directly from the 911 RSR race car, the street-legal GT3 RS was bumped up to 4.0 liters of furious flat-six. It offers 500 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 339 lb-ft of torque. Variocam-Plus allows for independent timing of intake and exhaust cams, and a two-stage intake manifold offers torque across a wide plateau. It will stand the test of time as the first naturally aspirated 911 to offer 125 horsepower per liter. As one of the most efficient engines to-date, it makes use of high flow intakes and exhaust systems. More than just a big engine, the 4.0 was a model unto itself. Standard equipment included PCCB composite brakes, front end lift, and impressive aerodynamics. As one of the most highly optioned examples we've seen, it also has climate control and power windows. Thankfully the PDK transmission was omitted, so you get to enjoy the thrill of a proper heel-toe downshifts. It is 22 lbs lighter than its predecessor thanks to carbon fiber fenders and trunk lid. Even the connecting rods were forged from titanium to build this featherweight supercar. Only 600 examples of the GT3 RS 4.0 were produced for the world, and it will stand the test of time as the 997's Grand Finale. Click the link below to learn more about this pristine Porsche.
