Jaguar’s long-anticipated and talked-about new chapter has officially opened with the introduction of the production Type 01, a new four-door grand tourer with over 1,000 horsepower and an irrefutably captivating design. With its minimal, monolithic silhouette, the new Jaguar Type 01 is the perfect canvas for Jaguar to tell stories with color, which is what the ultra-exclusive Chromatic Moments edition of the new all-electric grand tourer does.
The first Chromatic Moments variant of the Jaguar Type 01 is finished in London Red, and only 60 examples of the car will be created globally. The hand-painted finish is inspired by the incredibly rich history and culture of London, and Jaguar’s shared heritage with the city. First seen on Jaguar’s Type 00 concept car, London Red was created to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the manufacturer. The Chromatic Moments variant of the Type 01 also features bespoke touches, like laser-etched signatures and other special features.
The Chromatic Moments Jaguar Type 01 made its dynamic debut in the UK at one of London’s most cherished and noteworthy landmarks, the British Museum. Specifically taking place at the British Museum’s Red Ball, the debut of the special color serendipitously referenced its venue. Set against the incredible curation at the British Museum and the red bricks of its city surroundings, the inspiration behind the special edition and London Red was clear.

Succeeding London Red will be a Chromatic Moments Jaguar Type 01 in French Ultramarine Blue. An incredibly vivid blue, French Ultramarine is inspired by the works of artists like Monet and Van Gogh, and made its debut on the Type 00 concept showcased in Paris, Monaco, and at Monterey Car Week in 2025. Its satin finish emphasizes the depth and richness of the color. Making its debut at the British Museum, the new London Red Chromatic Moments Jaguar Type 01 is a stunning statement of heritage, futurism, and bold creativity from the reborn Jaguar.
