PUMA x McLaren Racing Launch New Collection, Available Now

Motorsport has always been about more than lap times, and McLaren Racing has long understood how culture influences the sport itself. That idea sits at the center of a new multi-year partnership between PUMA and McLaren Racing, announced as both brands continue to overlap between competition, community, and lifestyle. The collaboration is framed around bringing fans a little closer to the everyday rhythm of racing, from what teams wear in the paddock to how supporters carry that identity away off the track. On the competitive side, PUMA’s role will stretch across the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, both McLaren entries in F1 Academy, the McLaren F1 Sim Racing Team, and, starting in 2027, the McLaren United AS WEC Hypercar program. The partnership places a strong focus on performance apparel, with team kits designed to meet the demands of modern racing while staying visually tied to McLaren’s familiar papaya colorway. The PUMA x McLaren Racing Replica Collection mirrors the gear seen on drivers and team members throughout a race weekend, offering a straightforward link to the paddock. The Lifestyle Collection takes a looser approach, pulling from McLaren’s long racing history and translating it into everyday streetwear. Beyond clothing, the partnership also leans into experiences, which is where things get interesting. PUMA and McLaren Racing plan to roll out immersive fan moments through special events and limited releases, starting with an activation at the opening round of the Formula 1 season in Australia. How Crowd Street is expanding access to private markets.

By Crowd Street. Annual letters from some of the world’s biggest investment firms have become so closely followed they now spark news cycles of their own. Whether your preferred muse is Larry Fink, Jamie Dimon, or Marc Rowan, they’re all sounding the same alarm: public markets may not be what they used to be. There are a few numbers many people know. The count of U.S. public companies has been cut nearly in half over the past two decades — from about 8,000 in the ‘90s to just 4,000 today. And stock markets have grown more concentrated than ever, with just ten companies now making up 40 percent of the S&P 500’s total value. But new, unsettling figures seem to surface every day. One stands out: nearly nine in ten companies with at least $100 million in annual revenue are private. It’s a sea change from the old days of investing. Source: Blue Owl, The growing opportunity in private markets; Capital IQ as of 9/30/24 For many individual investors, it adds up to this: your portfolio probably reflects much less of the economy than it used to. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. For the first time, the largest and fastest-growing part of the economy — the private markets — is broadening its access to individual investors. Let’s unpack what these markets are and how investors can think about this expanded access. Where Did All the Public Companies Go? Public markets have shrunk by nearly half over the past two decades, but there aren’t necessarily fewer U.S. companies. Where did they all go? For the most part, into the private markets. Over that same 20 years, the number of private equity–backed companies grew from about 1,900 to more than 11,000 — a nearly 500 percent jump. And today, there are roughly six times as many private “unicorns” (companies with a $1 billion valuation) as there are public companies with an equivalent market cap. For many institutions and the ultra-wealthy, that growth has proved attractive. Assets held by private equity expanded fifteenfold between 2000 and 2022. And among individual investors with more than $10 million in assets, about 80 percent now allocate to private markets. Before we toss out any more numbers, you might be wondering: why haven’t any of these private investments ever crossed my desk? For a long time, they were simply off-limits. Regulations and old-school private equity norms meant that unless you were ready to cut a multimillion-dollar check, you likely weren’t getting into one of these funds. Today, though, new products and federal rule changes are cracking that door open for individual investors. You no longer have to be a pension fund, Fortune 500 CEO, other institutional or ultra–high-net-worth investor to diversify into categories like private equity and private credit. One of the platforms leading that shift is Crowd Street, a marketplace for self-directed access to private assets. How Crowd Street Is Expanding Access to Private Markets For more than a decade, Crowd Street has enabled accredited investors to build portfolios in commercial real estate. Today, the company has expanded its offering to a broader range of private market opportunities, including private equity, private credit, and venture capital. To do it, Crowd Street has entered into a strategic relationship with Callan, one of the world’s leading institutional investment consultants, who will support Crowd Street by helping review and conduct diligence for select private market investment opportunities. They’ve also launched distribution agreements with top global asset management firms to offer investments traditionally reserved for their institutional and high-net-worth clients. Private assets, like public ones, come with both opportunities and risks. It’s true that they’ve grown faster and larger than their public counterparts in recent decades — but that growth doesn’t guarantee safety. It's important for investors to understand that the investment opportunities on the Crowd Street Platform are speculative and involve substantial risk. Investors should not invest unless they can sustain the risk of loss of capital, including the risk of total loss of capital. Crowd Street represents opportunity: the chance to diversify beyond concentrated public stocks, to invest across the broader economy, and to participate in similar types of assets that institutions and the ultra-wealthy have for decades. For the first time, these opportunities are in your hands. And Crowd Street is there to support you along the way. Visit crowdstreet.com to discover how.  Visit CrowdStreet.com

Legacy You Can Wear: From the Diamond Eagle to AviNika Jewelry

From the Diamond Eagle to AviNika Jewelry

Nearly every leader who ever lived believed they would be remembered.Very few actually were. The difference was not power, wealth, or victory. It was what they chose to leave behind. In the summer of 1783, as the smoke cleared from the Revolution, the men who built this nation understood a simple truth: freedom is won with steel, but legacy is preserved in gold. Major Pierre L’Enfant wanted more than a commemorative medal. He wanted a mark that could outlast the moment. He chose the Bald Eagle—native to this land—and placed at its center the Roman general Cincinnatus, remembered not for power seized, but for power willingly surrendered. Members of the Society of the Cincinnati wear a gold Eagle insignia to mark their service. George Washington, however, was entrusted with something singular: The Diamond Eagle. Set with nearly two hundred diamonds, emeralds, and rubies, it was never intended as ornament. It became a symbol of leadership passed hand to hand—from Washington to Alexander Hamilton and onward through history. It was never sold. Only inherited, carrying continuity of responsibility rather than ownership. At AviNika Jewelry, we work within this same tradition. A generic, mass-produced gift is a hollow gesture—insufficient for a life’s work. The individuals who form the core of a family, or the inner circle of a company, deserve objects that reflect what they have built. Not mass-produced gifts. But artifacts shaped with intention. To commission such a piece is to think beyond the present moment. You ensure that a century from now, your successors will not simply know your name—they will inherit a tangible record of what you built. We create the artifacts by which leadership endures. How to Buy: Porsche's Exclusive Carrera GT Collection Des...

One of Porsche's most iconic creations celebrates a milestone. While we can all certainly agree that the Porsche Carrera GT is currently viewed as a legendary supercar among collectors and enthusiasts, now trading well into the +$2 million range, it sort of became a Cinderella story for Stuttgart's V10 masterpiece. What may have been considered ahead of its time, evolving into a collector classic for drivers yearning for the ultimate analog driving experience, the Carrera GT continued to age like a fine wine as it cemented itself in the automotive world. Now, 25 years after its concept debut in September 2000, the Carrera GT is getting its much-deserved recognition as Porsche celebrates its 25th Anniversary with an exclusive lifestyle collection designed by French collector, streetwear designer, and most importantly, Porsche purist, Arthur Kar. To commemorate the Anniversary, Kar dove into the archives of Porsche and PUMA Motorsports to design and curate a capsule collection honoring the uprise of the Carrera GT and its continuous influence on the future of supercars. The unisex collection features head-to-toe styles, including racing zip-up jackets, t-shirts, and accessories, all sporting embroidered Carrera GT badging and silhouettes. And while we're still waiting until launch day to get the full scope of the entire lineup, the highlight of the collection has to be the special edition PUMA Motorsports Speedcat Pro sneakers. Scripted with Porsche and Carrera GT touches that make them instantly collectible, there's no better way to celebrate a car than with one of the most popular driving shoes on the planet. As we wait patiently for the anticipated launch on Thursday, September 25th at 11:00 am EST, the Carrera GT 25th Anniversary Collection will be a quick sellout, so buyers had better be ready. Check back into duPont REGISTRY tomorrow morning for the 'How to Buy' info on Arthur Kars' Porsche Carrera GT capsule collection. Shop Montblanc's Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tail...

Montblanc and Ferrari celebrate shared craftsmanship with the new Meisterstück. This isn't the first time Montblanc and Ferrari have crossed paths. Over the years, both ultra-luxury worlds have intersected through a shared passion for design, precision, and craftsmanship that outlives trends. Each understands the beauty of control, whether it be the steady hand that guides a pen or the one that keeps a V12 balanced at full throttle. Their latest collaboration, the Montblanc Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Classica, feels like another chapter in a story built on mutual respect for each other's craft. It's about two artisans, from different industries, recognizing something familiar in each other's pursuit of perfection. The Classica collection looks to Ferrari's Grand Touring cars of the 1950s and 1960s for inspiration, when long stretches of road met hand-shaped metal and wood. Those details, like the feeling of lacquered steering wheels and the refinement of understated design, come through beautifully into the Meisterstück's lineup. The body, finished in lacquered wood, shows off the tactile satisfaction of vintage craftsmanship, while the Montblanc emblem in giallo Modena pays homage to Ferrari's roots. The Prancing Horse, discreetly placed, ties it all together without overwhelming the iconic design. The fountain pen requires patience, each stroke deliberate, mirroring the rhythm of an open road drive. The ballpoint, though more suited for daily use, maintains the same sense of luxury. In a time when most collaborations chase trends, this one leans into legacy. It reminds us that craftsmanship, whether expressed through steel and pistons or ink and lacquer, is timeless, and that some partnerships, like this one between Montblanc and Ferrari, don't need to be reinvented. They just need to continue. What are the best sunglasses for driving a car? When it comes to driving, the best sunglasses are ones that offer excellent glare reduction and UV protection. Look for polarized lenses, as they cut down on reflections from roads and other surfaces, which can help reduce eye strain and improve visibility. Are polarized sunglasses better for driving? Yes, polarized sunglasses are definitely better for driving. They reduce glare from the sun reflecting off the road and other surfaces, which helps you see more clearly and reduces eye strain. melin Announces Its Newest Customer Experience Lab Openin...

There’s something truly special about Miami: the vibe, colors, confidence, and the way creativity spills into everyday life around every corner. It makes sense that melin and its love for adventure, would plant roots right in the middle of it all. The all-new melin Customer Experience Lab at Brickell City Centre marks a milestone as the brand’s first East Coast location and sixth space set up to help customers dial in the perfect fit. Headwear is often the finishing touch to what we wear every day, and for melin, the goal has always been to elevate that detail into something intentional with luxury materials, thoughtful design, and the right shape made specifically for you. The new space in Miami brings that mission into life with a personal, hands-on experience led by melin Fit Experts. It’s a chance to feel the fabrics, try different crown shapes, and understand what premium headwear looks like when it’s built to hold up against all conditions. But melin also embraced Miami’s own creative pulse with the Boss Cherry mascot tagging the front windows as subtle nods to the street art that defines neighborhoods just minutes away. The opening on November 1st will feature a welcome party with music, refreshments, and a speech from melin co-founder and President Brian McDonell. Dave “Persue” Ross, a name stamped across decades of street culture, joins melin by bringing his artistic identity to a new collaborative hat inspired by the textures of Wynwood Walls. Seeing Persue paint live inside the Customer Experience Lab turns the store into part of the gallery. Shop all current melin hat styles and collections by clicking the link below. A luxury mansion with two high-end cars parked in front—including an Aston Martin—alongside a close-up of a 2015 Bollinger La Grande Année champagne bottle, celebrating Aston Martin naming Champagne Bollinger as its official champagne partner.

Aston Martin Names Champagne Bollinger as Its Official Ch...

At this year’s Monterey Car Week, where Aston Martin revealed its lineup for its 75th anniversary celebration in the Americas, the brand also unveiled something unexpected. Alongside the cars, Aston Martin and Glenfiddich announced an exclusive collaboration. We were also part of an intimate tasting event and got to savor a limited-edition Scotch whisky crafted by Glenfiddich. Now, just weeks later, Aston Martin is once again doubling down on the lifestyle space with another strategic partnership announcement. The British marque has named Champagne Bollinger as its official champagne partner, bringing together two institutions that thrive on craftsmanship, exclusivity, and tradition.  Bollinger, founded in 1829 in Aÿ, France, remains family-owned to this day and is fiercely protective of its methods. The House maintains more than 4,000 oak barrels using its own cooper, a level of control that ensures consistency. Aston Martin, founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin on Aston Hill, also follows that same playbook over in Gaydon, where key components of its cars are still put together by hand, the old-fashioned way, even as the marque expands into SUVs and hybrids, and hypercars. Both brands also carry Royal Warrants, and Bollinger has supplied the British Royal Household since 1884, adding credibility to this partnership. Aston Martin, of course, already has a long record of partnering with legacy houses, from luxury fashion to fine art. Now the benefit of such collaborations is a tightly controlled hospitality chain that reflects the same level of refinement as Aston’s high-end cars.  You’ll experience it in the moment, whether at a dinner, a grid-side celebration, or while personalizing your next DBS or Vanquish through Q by Aston Martin. So, as the brand continues to curate an ecosystem that stretches well beyond cars, if you attend a private Aston Martin launch or one of its track experiences in the future, Bollinger will now be the champagne of choice moving forward.
