Built on a philosophy of pushing boundaries and constant evolution, URWERK has carved out a niche in the luxury watch world with an almost “if you know, you know” feel. Its collection of watches, only best described as out of this world, quite literally, the Swiss watchmaker has captured the attention of collectors like Michael Jordan, Ralph Lauren, Jackie Chan, and so many others over the past 31 years.
While the brand has traditionally focused on utilitarian-style creations, URWERK Geneve is adding an extra layer of luxury to one of its flagship models with the debut of the all-new UR-101 Diamond Sky. But true to URWERK form, this is not a diamond-set watch in the traditional sense. The 41mm steel case is closer to a celestial tool, engraved with an intentional geometric pattern that mirrors a star map, with each of its 214 diamonds perfectly set.
The UR-101 Diamond Sky remains 100% URWERK, showcasing the exact DNA first introduced in its 1997 debut, including wandering satellite hours, a crown at 12 o’clock, angular lugs, and a case shape unlike any other. Inside is driven by the self-winding Caliber UR-1.01V, a movement built with 28 jewels, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivering a 48-hour power reserve.
Limited to just 25 pieces, the URWERK UR-101 Diamond Sky is aimed solely at collectors who see independent watchmaking as more than status. It is a watch that combines avant-garde Swiss watchmaking, luxury gem-setting, and a design that breaks the mold.
