After 40 years, duPont REGISTRY’s cover cars capture moments in automotive history.
This year, duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. In that time, some of the world’s most desirable, iconic, and influential luxury and exotic cars have graced the cover of our magazine over the past 40 years, and together, the cover cars of duPont REGISTRY’s hundreds of monthly issues tell a story of automotive history and its evolution since the ‘80s.
This year, we not only celebrated the 40th anniversary of the iconic duPont REGISTRY magazine, but we also revealed some iconic covers that spotlighted noteworthy vehicles throughout the year, as well as 2025 has been a year for the books in the automotive industry. January – Ferrari F80
Ferrari’s F80, the long-awaited successor to the LaFerrari, was the January 2025 cover star of duPont REGISTRY, starting the year off with a bang and possibly ushering in a new iteration of the iconic “Holy Trinity” of futuristic supercars that dominated the 2010s.
February – McLaren W1
McLaren’s W1, the successor to the legendary P1 of recent memory, was the February 2025 cover star of duPont REGISTRY.
March – Lamborghini Temerario
Lamborghini’s second plug-in hybrid supercar, the Temerario, was our March 2025 cover star, boasting over 900 horsepower and cutting-edge design.
April – 40th Anniversary Issue (Mercedes-Benz SL, Ferrari 308, Rolls-Royce Corniche)
Taking it back all the way to the beginning, the April 1985 duPont REGISTRY cover was the cover star of the April 2025 40th anniversary issue of duPont REGISTRY, showcasing the Mercedes-Benz SL, the Ferrari 308, and the Rolls-Royce Corniche.
May – EarthRoamer LTx
EarthRoamer’s LTx is a luxurious and practically endlessly capable adventuring vehicle, and it served as the cover star for the May 2025 issue of duPont REGISTRY.
June – Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre
The driver-focused version of Rolls-Royce’s ultra-luxurious grand touring coupe, the Black Badge Spectre, was our cover star on the June 2025 issue.
July – Chevrolet Corvette Yenko/SC
Twin-turbo powertrains capable of either 1,000 or 1,250 horsepower are the biggest highlight of this C8 Corvette, which is why the Yenko S/C was our July 2025 cover star.
August – Orion ASCENSION
The Orion ASCENSION, dubbed the world’s first true “land yacht” is an ultra-luxury SUV that can transform into a serene mobile living space, and it served as our August 2025 cover star.
September – McLaren Project: Endurance
McLaren’s incredible Project: Endurance was the cover star of our September 2025 issue, marking a new chapter in the brand’s legendary racing legacy.
October – Porsche 911
A classic Porsche 911 with an iconic Gulf livery was the cover car for October 2025’s duPont REGISTRY, which highlighted the Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge.
November – Lamborghini Fenomeno
Lamborghini’s ultra-exclusive Fenomeno, unveiled at this year’s Monterey Car Week, was the cover star of our November 2025 issue, succeeding icons like the Countach LPI 800-4, the Sián, the Centenario, the Veneno, and the Reventón.
December – Mansory Rolls-Royce Cullinan
Ending this year, the cover car was Mansory’s take on the iconic Rolls-Royce Cullinan ultra-luxury SUV, in an issue that highlights Mansory’s North American expansion with Limited Spec Automotive.
