Alia Yachts Announces Sales of 148-foot Superyacht 'SAN'

An innovative superyacht in more ways than one. Alia Yachts have just announced they now have a contract for an all-aluminum, 45-meter (148-foot) superyacht. Named project 'SAN', this superyacht was designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design with naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects. In terms of accommodations, SAN boasts four guest cabins and an owner's stateroom. “The design of SAN began after long and in-depth conversations with her future owner on the desired layouts, functionality and style,” says Paul Costerus, partner and lead designer at Sinot studio. She will feature a multitude of fantastic features that will make her a truly only-of-a-kind vessel. These include the full open main deck, a superstructure that's constructed with full-height glass facades, a raised-pilothouse design, and much more. One of the most functional features has to be the adaptability of the exterior furniture. Alia Yachts notes that tables can convert so that they are ready for dining in on second, but then switched over to a layout more suitable for evening cocktails. This continues aft where the sunbathing area can actually be expanded simply by folding down the bulwarks. This is just the latest incredible superyacht from Alia Yachts, but there are surely many more fully customized vessels on the horizon. Source: Alia Yachts

On the yacht brokerage's social media channels, SuperYachtsMonaco announced that they had sold the 40.2-meter (131-feet) Benetti ORYX entirely through Bitcoin. The brokerage facilitated the sale through BitPay. The ORYX superyacht was built in 2013 and had its interiors updated by Francois Zuretti in 2018/19. Explorer Yachts That Will Take You To Remote Destinations

Courtesy of Denison Yachting, By Marina Nazario – As a yacht owner, you have the unique opportunity to explore some of the most remote destinations in the world. Especially if you’re on an explorer yacht, which could take you to New Zealand’s Subantarctic Islands, Easter Island, Raja Ampat, or the polar regions. Explorer yachts are seaworthy and autonomous vessels — capable of traveling long distances and through rough water without needing a port. They typically look badass, with a full displacement hull that’s designed to cut through the ocean. The crew might be more experienced than those on a traditional, fair-weather motor yacht in order to maintain the vessel to the highest degree. Although, most explorer yachts are purpose-built with the best materials and systems to withstand long voyages. Here are 5 explorer yachts for sale that will take you to remote destinations. 1. BOLD | 278′ SilverYachts 2019 BOLD is a multi-function explorer yacht with an extended range of 3,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 17 knots. This 278-foot vessel was built in Australia with the collaboration of renowned yacht designer Espen Øino. BOLD reveals aggressive styling with expansive interior and exterior spaces; her staggering design provides clever use of onboard living and storage space throughout the vessel. She comes with plenty of amenities including a beach club with a gym, a helipad on the main deck, storage for 3 tenders on deck, a plunge pool, and a basketball court. A unique feature is the Wintergarden that faces aft — an enclosed dining and lounge area with wrap-around windows that slide open. BOLD is brave enough to support your heliski adventures from the yacht to the mountain peak. Contact: Tony Smith 2. TIME OFF | 182′ Damen Yacht Support Take TIME OFF to explore the polar regions. This 182-foot vessel is built to support a larger expedition yacht that travels long distances. The flexibility of her design makes TIME OFF adaptable to fit the owner’s needs. For instance, the 50-square meter aft deck can hold a seaplane, tender, helicopter, submarine, and jet skis. With a 5,000 nautical mile range at 10 knots, she can keep up and cross oceans with a larger expedition yacht. Contact: Patrick Hopkins 3. AURELIA | 130′ Canitiere Delle Marche Cantiere delle Marche’s first Flexplorer is this 130′ explorer yacht named AURELIA. She’s unmistakable on the water with a robust exterior defined by thick steel that adds weight throughout the vessel to enhance stability and comfort. AURELIA is capable of true exploration — she can cruise at 5,000 nautical miles on twin CAT C32 engines with a heavy-duty rating and a fuel capacity of 60,000 liters. This is the first CdM yacht to be fitted with two pairs of zero-speed stabilizers. Like the Numarine XP series – which Denison is familiar with – CdM builds its series explorer yachts based on common technology platforms. Customization is key to the brand’s market appeal as the Flexplorer series offers alternative layout solutions without the need for radical re-engineering. AURELIA is available for sale with Denison. Contact: Alex G. Clarke 4. Numarine 37XP Numarine has an entire explorer line of yachts that are purpose-built for long voyages. The Numarine 37XP is a 122-foot beast that boasts a full displacement steel hull with a composite superstructure. This explorer yacht is an impressive 345 gross tons with a 5,500 nautical mile range. The Numarine 37XP has the appropriate stability, seakeeping, maneuverability, and general handling to support offshore and worldwide cruising. As a new construction project, this yacht can feature a 5 or 6 cabin layout to accommodate 10-12 guests, including a private owner’s deck on the upper level. The Numarine 37XP series comes with plenty of amenities including a designated beach club, sundeck Jacuzzi, cinema, gym, and a boat deck that can carry up to a 9-meter tender + 3 jet skis. Contact: Alex G. Clarke 5. K-584 | 120′ CPN 2020 K-584 is the first yacht built under the name of Italian shipyard CPN. This 120-foot explorer yacht began as a custom project and was designed by Andrea Vallicelli and C Yacht Design. She’s a military-styled yacht with simplicity at its core. K-584 boasts an elegant interior that combines dark veneers and white lacquers with a few spots of color. This expedition yacht for sale has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. She is powered by 2 MAN engines, which give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 14 knots. K-584 has a range of 4,600 nautical miles and can carry 47,000 liters of fuel and 9,600 liters of water for long journeys. Best part? She comes with a state-of-the-art dive center to plan dive excursions and store wetsuits, tanks, and more toys. Contact: Aaron Antonson Explorer yachts are a fun and adventurous type of vessel meant to support an owner’s goals of reaching remote destinations. As a new era of yacht owners emerge, expedition yachts are increasingly popular for their non-traditional features. Contact your Denison yacht broker to find a featured yacht for sale.

A wonderfully modern superyacht that checks off all of the boxes. Denison Yachting's latest walkthrough video takes us through K-584, a 120-foot superyacht built by the CPN shipyard. Her design is very modern, featuring sharp angles, flat surfaces, and plenty of the latest technology. In charge of the exterior design was Andrea Vallicelli while the interior was drawn up by Pierluigi Floris Architetto. No matter the view, she maintains a very consistent color scheme that revolves around red, white and grey, while fine wood flooring and furniture contrast against these colors. Cosmos launch

Heesen Launches Project Cosmos, The World's Largest and F...

Project Cosmos is a true feat of engineering and design. Heesen Yachts has announced that they have launched Project Cosmos, their largest and fastest all-aluminum superyacht ever created. She comes in with a length of 80 meters or about 262-feet and can hit a top speed of almost 30 knots. “Today, we are celebrating the launch of a unique yacht,” said Heesen CEO Arthur Brouwer. “Unique not only for our shipyard, as she is the largest we have ever taken on and represents the pinnacle of our achievements to date. Cosmos is also unique in the industry – the largest and fastest aluminum yacht in her class ever built.” These feats are astonishing by themselves, but Project Cosmos is even more appealing when you see the design of her interior and exterior. In charge of the exterior was Winch Design, a British studio, who gave her a design reminiscent of an elegant supercar. Taking care of the interior and light design was Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Throughout the interior, guests will experience the feeling of being at home even though they are onboard a groundbreaking superyacht. Heesen Yachts expects Project Cosmos to continue commissioning for the time being, but she will undergo sea trials in February 2022. Delivery is expected in April 2022.
