The second generation of the Mercedes-AMG GT reimagined the AMG-exclusive tourer as a more versatile coupe, with multiple powertrains available, and also a layout with rear seats. However, Mercedes-AMG refused to count the GT’s 4-Door Coupe counterpart out, as a new generation of the Mercedes-AMG 4-Door Coupe is coming, as well. As the debut of the new generation of the 4-Door Coupe approaches, Mercedes-AMG has shown off its interior, an oasis that combines luxury, performance, and technology with its enticing design.
Designed to be driver-focused, the interior of the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe was designed in-house by AMG in Affalterbach, with a low seating position that combines four-door comfort with the feel and experience of a two-door sports car, dials and rotary controls on the center console for tactile, intuitive, and engaging driving mode controls, and an overall design that highlights the high-performance driving experience.
The dashboard features a massive display that is divided into a driver-oriented section, including an instrument panel and a multimedia screen that is angled towards the driver’s side, and a passenger screen. Climate control vents are seamlessly integrated into the dashboard design, with ambient lighting enhancing the experience of the interior, and a center console offering wireless smartphone charging, dynamic driver controls, and other luxury features.

The cockpit also features front seats with pronounced lateral support, bolstering the driver and passenger in dynamic driving, and two individual rear seats as standard. The floor is recessed in the rear for comfortable legroom and a natural knee angle, and a three-seat rear layout is also available. Both layouts have backrests that can be folded down easily.
A performance-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel features roller and rocker controls, with intuitive operation and seamless integration with the high-resolution instrument display. A standard one-piece panoramic glass roof features electrochromic control to go from transparent to opaque, and optional SKY CONTROL allows the roof to be divided into segments that can be individually configured. A unique lighting display also decorates the entire glass roof at night.
