Mercedes-Benz USA Reports Q2 2023 Total Sales Of 96,109 Vehicles

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) has taken the automotive industry by storm, reporting formidable Q2 2023 sales, marking an all-time high for the automaker. The total Q2 sales amounted to 96,109 vehicles, a figure made up of 77,287 Mercedes-Benz models and 18,732 Mercedes-Benz Vans. The notable performance is largely driven by the introduction of five Electric Vehicles (EQ) in their line-up. The EQ series, comprising EQS Sedan, EQS SUV, EQB, EQE Sedan, and the EQE SUV, have sparked an electric revolution, contributing to a phenomenal 608% sales growth in Q2 2023 compared to Q2 2022. EQ models now account for 15% of the total Q2 sales.

Top-End Vehicles saw a dramatic rise in demand, contributing to an astounding 40% growth, translating into 26,927 units sold. Mercedes-AMG saw a 66% growth in sales, with 11,835 units sold. The G-Class, remaining an iconic favorite, registered an impressive 553% sales increase. The Core segment held its ground with the CLA experiencing a 30% increase in sales. The C-Class remains a key contributor with 8,623 units sold, while the fully-electric EQE Sedan drew 1,682 new customers. In the Entry segment, the GLA saw a 47% sales increase, with 5,071 units sold, and the recently introduced EQB registered 1,867 unit sales.

Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (MBCPO) models also performed well, with a 6% sales increase, reaching 35,031 units sold. With the EQ series transforming the automotive landscape and Mercedes-AMG gaining traction, MBUSA has set the pace for a robust future in the industry.
