Polestar Increased Revenue By $1 Billion In 2025

The electric luxury car manufacturer continues to grow.

Polestar is on the cusp of a new era, with four new cars planned to launch in the next three years. Those are the Polestar 5, a performance-oriented four-door grand tourer that is launching this year, along with a new variant of the Polestar 4, the next generation of the Polestar 2 in 2027, and the Polestar 7 in 2028. The first quarter of 2026 saw record-breaking sales success for Polestar, but the full-year results for 2025 have also been reported, showing a trajectory of success and growth for the Swedish EV manufacturer.

Thanks to its rapidly evolving electric luxury car lineup, Polestar’s retail sales volumes have increased by 34 percent year-on-year, with revenues for the year increasing by 50 percent, jumping over a billion dollars from $2.034 billion to $3.058 billion. As the manufacturer begins to financially blossom, it is preparing for the largest model offensive in its history with the four new cars that will launch in the next three years.

In addition, Polestar is also preparing to make other strategic moves, with the intention of consolidating production of the Polestar 3 SUV to Charleston, South Carolina, while navigating an increasingly challenging market as the year continues, with Polestar citing geopolitical developments as a possible hurdle to growth in the near future. With a luxurious, growing, and high-tech group of models, Polestar is affirming its foothold in the competitive luxury EV market.
