2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric Gets a Sharper Edge, with up to 1,139HP

The 2026 Cayenne Coupe Electric brings 911-inspired styling, rapid charging, and up to 1,139 hp to Porsche’s EV SUV lineup.

Long gone are the days when electrification meant slow and boring, leaning into efficiency over performance; manufacturers are using EV and hybrid powertrains to their advantage, lessening the lag gap and delivering instant power. Porsche first tapped into this with e-hybrid models and the all-electric Taycan, using each as a test bed before perfecting its craft and trickling it down to the rest of its flagship cars and SUVs. Today, the new 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric joins the gas-powered and plug-in hybrid variants of the already popular, distinctly sporty Cayenne Coupe. The first thing that you’ll notice is the shape, inspired heavily by the Porsche 911’s iconic “flyline”, the Cayenne Coupe Electric now showcases a sloping roofline. It’s a tad lower than the standard Cayenne, tighter in its proportions, and just looks more aggressive. The rear spoiler tucks into the body seamlessly, and the flush rear glass makes the whole thing look wider and cleaner from the rear. The best way to describe it is that it just looks like a Porsche that happens to be an SUV. Inside, it’s familiar if you’ve spent time in Porsche’s newer EVs, which isn’t a bad thing. The layout is clean, driver-focused, and loaded with tech. What’s really impressive is how little headroom is compromised despite the coupe roof. Rear seating is still spacious, cargo space is usable, and there’s even a frunk for extra storage. Those looking to spice up their Cayenne Coupe Electric, Porsche even offers a Lightweight Sport Package with carbon, sportier materials, and trims that shave some weight without stripping out the interior.Performance where the Cayenne Coupe Electric starts to stand out from its other variants. Built on an 800-volt powerplant, it delivers fast-charging capability that actually makes daily EV use easier. Power ranges from 435 horsepower in the base model to a jaw-dropping 1,139 horsepower in the Turbo, with 0–60mph times dipping into supercar territory. It handles that performance with unadaptive air suspension, optional rear-axle steering, and torque vectoring, which all work together to make an SUV feel like a 911 when pushed.

Pricing lands right where you’d expect for a Porsche electric SUV, starting just over $113,000 and climbing well into the $160K range for the Turbo. Orders are open now, with deliveries expected toward the end of summer 2026. Nothing’s being phased out either. Gas and hybrid Cayenne Coupe models aren’t going anywhere.
