Porsche Delivers Over 120 911 Cup Cars To International Teams

Made for a one-make racing series, the new Porsche 911 Cup is about to take on a new season.

The Porsche Carrera Cup, a collection of four one-make racing series that take place across the globe, showcases Porsche's racing heritage and allows drivers and teams to compete with the Porsche 911 Cup, a motorsport version of the legendary sports car that combines its incredible legacy and history with the latest and greatest of motorsport engineering. Ahead of the 2026 season of the Porsche Carrera Cup, Porsche has announced that over 120 examples of the new 911 Cup have been delivered to teams worldwide.

The cars are all delivered in GT Silver Metallic, before they are given their liveries by competing teams, and after the teams from the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and Porsche Carrera Cup North America have already completed the first shakedowns of their cars in Zhuhai, China and Sebring, Florida, teams from the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland gathered at an iconic European track for their shakedown: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Over 2,300 laps of the legendary Spanish Formula 1 have been completed during the shakedown in total, and for drivers, the car is proving faster than its predecessor with 10 extra horsepower and optimized aerodynamics. Promising to make the racing even more exciting in the world’s one-make series, the new Porsche 911 Cup is about to showcase Porsche motorsport excellence at iconic tracks across the globe.
