The World’s Only Porsche 918 Coupé Makes a Rare Appearance at Salon Privé

A Sonderwunsch Porsche 918 rolled onto the lawn at the ongoing 2026 Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace in England, ending more than a decade of obscurity. Ordered new by Ferdinand Piëch, former chairman of the Volkswagen Group and the man responsible for the Bugatti Veyron, the one-off is making an exceptionally rare formal public appearance. Salon Privé describes it as the world’s only 2015 Porsche 918 Coupé and says it is believed to have been seen in public just once before. The stunning example seen here features Paint to Sample Oxford Blue with Arancio orange across the wheels, front intakes, lower body accents, and engine bay, mirroring Piëch’s Veyron Super Sport. Inside, the blue-and-orange theme continues with Tangerine and Imperial Blue leather, while the headrests retain their “918 Spyder” embroidery despite the car’s fixed-roof configuration. The theme appears to have continued within the family collection. Subsequently, a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport associated with the Piëch family was similarly specified in Royal Blue Carbon with Tangerine orange, suggesting the combination became something of a family signature.  The roof is where this 918 stops being a normal Spyder (the badge on the back still reads 918 Spyder). Where every other example features two removable carbon-fiber roof panels stored in the front luggage compartment, Piëch’s car replaces them with a single fixed panel. Porsche also replaced the Acid Green normally used to highlight the E-Hybrid hardware with orange, while finishing the brake calipers in Oxford Blue instead. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Salon Privé (@salonpriveuk)   Such bespoke commissions run through Sonderwunsch, Porsche's special-wishes program, which has since produced everything from reimagined Flachbau bodies to hand-applied Chromaflair paintwork and a growing catalogue of factory one-offs. In 2013, though, asking Porsche to fundamentally alter the roof configuration of its new hybrid hypercar was an extraordinary request from almost anyone. Piëch, of course, was instrumental in shaping the modern performance car landscape. He worked on the 917 program in the 1970s, drove the quattro program at Audi in the '80s, then took control of the Volkswagen Group and brought marques like Bugatti, Bentley and Lamborghini into its portfolio in the '90s. Back in 1997, on a train between Tokyo and Nagoya, Piëch famously sketched an 18-cylinder engine on the back of an envelope. The idea would eventually evolve into the Quad-turbocharged W16 that powered the Veyron, a car engineered to produce 1,000 horsepower and exceed 250 mph. Bugatti built the F.K.P. Hommage in his memory this January. That appetite for engineering excellence helps explain the specification of this 918. Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge: The Area West Winners

Now in its sixth year, the Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge asks Porsche Centers across the United States to do what they are uniquely equipped to do: take a classic Porsche that is due for expert attention and return it to the road. The work is carried out by Porsche-trained technicians with a catalog of roughly 85,000 Porsche Classic Genuine Parts behind them, and the eligibility list is deliberately broad. Entries can include the 356 and 914, six generations of the 911, transaxle cars such as the 944 and 928, and modern classics including the Boxster, Cayman, and first-generation Cayenne, provided the vehicle is a street production model. Each participating center enters one of three categories. Individualization draws on the spirit of Porsche's Sonderwunsch program and rewards imaginative use of Porsche Genuine Parts. Preservation favors repairing over replacing, retaining as much original material as possible while improving how the car functions. Restoration is the traditional path, returning a car to like-new condition in line with original production specifications. A fourth honor, People's Choice, is decided by public vote rather than by the judging panel. Area West judging took place on August 14 at Werks Reunion in Monterey, California, during one of the busiest weeks on the collector car calendar. Four Porsche Centers came away with awards, and the three category winners advance as national finalists to the finals in Atlanta on October 9 and 10. Individualization: Porsche Tucson, 1973 914 GALLERY-EMBED Porsche Tucson took the Individualization award with a 914 that arrived as a gutted rolling chassis sourced locally. The team stripped and sandblasted the shell to expose its true condition, removed corrosion, and completed extensive metalwork through the body and floor pans before fitting steel GT-style flares along with handmade front and rear bumpers and spoilers. The body was widened by an additional 1¾ inches along the upper fender line, work that required careful fabrication to keep the proportions consistent from front to rear. The finished car wears a custom-mixed Adriatic Blue over the upper and lower surfaces, with bumpers and trim in 70 percent gloss black. The bigger undertaking was mechanical. Converting the chassis for six-cylinder power called for frame gussets, an oil tank, and a dedicated engine mounting system. The rebuilt 2.4-liter engine runs S-spec camshafts, high-compression pistons, Weber 40 IDA carburetors, PerTronix ignition, coated headers, and a sport muffler, and it sits in an engine bay finished with a painted shroud, zinc-coated hardware, and a handmade wiring harness. The rebuilt 901 side-shift transmission received new synchronizers, engagement teeth, operating sleeves, and a reinforced intermediate bearing support, while the suspension and brakes were rebuilt around new bushings, bearings, Bilstein shocks, and rebuilt 911 calipers. Inside are a custom five-gauge dashboard, redesigned seats in black leather with blue stitching, color-matched belts, a roll bar, woven leather dash trim, and a handmade aluminum shifter. Porsche Tucson also made the build a public project, hosting an event at the halfway mark and another for the final reveal, and documenting progress at least twice a month for more than 6,000 followers under the #PorscheChallenge2026 hashtag. @porschetucson Preservation: Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas, 1996 911 Turbo GALLERY-EMBED The 993 Turbo that Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas entered arrived wearing years of aftermarket modification in the tuner idiom of the early 2000s. The category rewards restraint, and the team's approach was to reverse those changes rather than replace what lay underneath. The project was introduced to more than 120 VIP guests at a kickoff event in January 2025, with the transformation carried out in public view. To protect original finishes, the undercarriage and suspension were dry ice blasted, lifting decades of grime without disturbing factory coatings. The aftermarket front bumper, rear spoiler, wheels, graphics, and aged paint protection film all came off, returning the original bodywork and paint to view. The interior was fully disassembled so the original carpets and leather could be steam cleaned and reconditioned, and the factory seats, belts, steering wheel, shifter, and parking brake assembly went back in as aftermarket carbon trim, aluminum gauge surrounds, pedal covers, door sill trim, and the custom audio system came out. The factory speaker configuration was restored, with a Porsche Classic Communication Management Plus system added for modern connectivity behind a period-correct face. Mechanically, the car received a full engine, transmission, and driveline service, along with the reinstallation of its original exhaust, valve covers, and oil lines. Brakes were renewed with new pads, rotors, and lines and refinished calipers, and the intercooler and fan shroud were refinished in correct factory colors. A precision corner balance, ride height adjustment, and four-wheel alignment followed. Every original body panel was retained through paintless dent removal, all glass was polished rather than replaced, and a multi-stage paint correction revived the factory finish. More than 200 miles of road testing preceded the unveiling to a crowd of over 180 guests in the Gaudin showroom. @gaudinporschelv Restoration: Porsche San Francisco, 2003 911 C4S GALLERY-EMBED Porsche San Francisco chose its subject with an argument in mind. The 996 is the entry point into air-cooled-adjacent 911 ownership for a lot of newer enthusiasts, and this 2003 C4S Tiptronic was selected to show what the generation is capable of when it receives proper attention. The car is on its seventh owner and spent most of its life outside the dealer network before returning in May 2023 with a recurring check engine light. Diagnosed with an internal engine concern, it was bought as a retirement project and then sat under a cover beside a house for three years. The engine and transmission came out in front of a live audience during the project unveiling. With the engine partially disassembled, removal of the bank two cylinder head revealed a carbon pattern on cylinders five and six consistent with coolant in the combustion chamber. Inspection found no cracks in the head and no bore scoring or cracks in the cylinder walls, so the engine was reassembled with cam timing set, new spark plugs, latest-revision ignition coils, a new air-oil separator, and a new water pump and drive belt. Once reinstalled, the misfire was confirmed corrected. From there the car received new shock absorbers, strut mounts, bump stops, and dust boots, a four-wheel alignment, rebuilt and refinished calipers with new Porsche script, and new discs, pads, sensors, and hardware. A PCCM+ upgrade required removing the single-DIN radio and relocating the A/C control panel to the base of the console, and the center console itself was replaced after its rubberized coating began peeling. The headlights were restored through a multi-step process of chemical cleaning, progressive sanding from 800 through 3000 grit, polishing, and UV and ceramic coating, while cracked taillights and the spoiler lip were replaced. Full exterior paint restoration and an interior detail completed the car. The team deserves specific mention. Gold Meister and classic certified technician Noah Saldena led the project alongside Gunter Feldmeier, with engine work performed by first-year technician and PTAP graduate Nicholas Cappa, who also handled the PCCM+ installation and console replacement. Dominick Eldridge covered suspension and lighting, Jonathan Battad handled wheels and tires, and the parts team led by Kalvin Kao sourced the correct components throughout. @porschesanfrancisco People's Choice: Porsche Santa Clarita, 1991 911 Cabriolet GALLERY-EMBED Public vote went to Porsche Santa Clarita for a 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet conceived as an art car. The reference point is the 1970 Porsche 917 that ran at Le Mans in what became known as the Hippie livery, hand-painted with spray cans in the paddock to disguise lightweight fiberglass bodywork. A practical solution turned into one of the most recognizable race cars ever built, and that idea of paint as part of the story shaped this project. Santa Clarita brought in Los Angeles artist RISK to treat the car as a canvas, with the artwork as the centerpiece rather than a decorative finish. The bodywork underneath is a RAUH-Welt Begriff build, chosen for the way Akira Nakai's approach combines craftsmanship and individuality while staying rooted in Porsche culture. Custom RWB x Rotiform wheels sit under the widebody kit, wrapped in 305/30/18 front and 335/30/18 rear tires, with KW V3 coilovers, a 964 adjustable rear spring plate, and a 993 Big Red brake kit with matching booster and master cylinder. The mechanical brief favored feel over peak output. The original 3.6-liter flat six was rebuilt with oversized valves and paired with a lightweight single-mass flywheel for sharper response, breathing through RSR headers and an RSR-style exhaust. Inside, custom magenta and ivory leather, a Porsche sport steering wheel, custom gauges, PCCM infotainment, and a premium sound system with subwoofer round out the cabin, while retro G-body turn signals nod to earlier 911s outside. @porschesantaclarita What Comes Next Four very different interpretations of the same brief, from a fully fabricated 914 to a 993 Turbo returned to factory specification, a 996 given the attention its generation has long deserved, and a 964 turned into a moving piece of art. Porsche Tucson, Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas, and Porsche San Francisco now advance to the national finals in Atlanta on October 9 and 10, where the category champions and the Grand National Champion will be decided.

How Porsche Pushed Engineering Boundaries With A Spherical Fuel Tank

Porsche is known for bringing forth performance-oriented engineering innovations throughout its long history, whether that be in its use of transaxles, variable geometry turbochargers, or hybrid technology. However, one of its most unique solutions took place in the world of motorsport, specifically in the 909 Bergspyder. The lightest-ever race car from Porsche, made in 1968, the 909 Bergspyder weighed around 400 kilograms, and it used some radical solutions to achieve that incredibly scant figure. During the European Hill Climb Championship, on the Gaisberg mountain in Salzburg, Austria, Porsche introduced the 909 Bergspyder as a masterpiece of motorsport engineering. While the 909 Bergspyder featured several highly innovative parts, one of the most intriguing was its fuel tank, which was sphere-shaped, twice the size of a soccer ball, and held in by three straps. It was made of thin titanium with a rubber bladder, and it was designed to operate without a fuel lift pump, reducing the weight by an impressive seven kilograms. Along with that unusual solution, the 909 Bergspyder also positioned the seat shell, engine, and five-speed transmission far towards the front of the car, improving the weight distribution while the differential was all the way at the back. Despite this radical innovation and painstaking engineering, the 909 Bergspyder only ran twice, as Porsche focused more on the World Sportscar Championship and Le Mans. Only two Porsche 909 Bergspyders were made, and they were the only cars that Porsche used the spherical fuel tank on. However, the unique engineering solution lives on as a symbol of the dedication and ingenuity given to the world of motorsport, which then goes on to inform the high-tech, performance-oriented solutions that have characterized roadgoing Porsche cars across the manufacturer’s history and to this day. Porsche Introduces Gallium Nitride To In-Car Audio

Combining luxury and performance with its celebrated lineup, Porsche enjoys its status as one of the most desirable names in the automotive industry. As such, Porsche’s vehicles feature some of the most premier audio systems on the market, and the brand has announced that it will pioneer even further innovation with the use of gallium nitride. From 2027, Porsche cars equipped with the Burmester High-End Sound system will be the world’s first production-ready in-car audio systems to make use of gallium nitride technology. Used for the semiconductors, gallium nitride boasts greater efficiency and power density than silicon, offering the system greater performance in a smaller and lighter form factor. A high-performance gallium nitride-based chip helps power the car’s 400-watt subwoofer amplifier, and the system was developed in collaboration between Porsche and the University of Stuttgart. A future Porsche, making its debut in 2027, will be the first vehicle to feature the technology in production. About the new technology, Steffen Burosch, responsible for audio systems at Porsche’s Weissach Development Center, says, “A powerful bass foundation is part of the emotive experience our customers expect from a Porsche. The power reserves of our systems enable confident and dynamic sound reproduction, which is perfectly in keeping with the character of our sports cars. Sound in a Porsche is about pure emotion. By using GaN, we can enhance that experience even further.” Porsche has already filed several patent applications for the technology, bringing gallium nitride technology, which has been used since the ‘90s for LEDs and is also used for USB chargers, tablets, and even satellites. Compared to silicon, the advantages of gallium nitride include reduced heat generation, higher switching frequencies, and lower switching losses. With those advantages, the heat sink can be made lighter, and other components can be made smaller, making the amplifier lighter and more compact in its design. Porsche came up with the idea to use gallium nitride for in-car audio in 2023, beginning work to develop the system in 2024. With the first car to use the technology in production coming in 2027, Porsche is on the horizon of opening a new chapter for audio technology in the automotive industry. Monterey Car Week is one of the most anticipated times of year on the automotive calendar, for collectors, brands, drivers, and enthusiasts alike. This year, Porsche is catering to purist enthusiasts by unveiling a new variant of its legendary sports car, the 911. Recognizable across the globe as a luxurious, fun-to-drive, beautiful, and historic performance machine, the 911 is enjoyed by legions of fans, many of whom adore the analog appeal of a manual transmission. That’s changing, though, as Porsche chose Monterey Car Week as the venue to unveil a new Porsche 911 Carrera S with a six-speed manual transmission, exclusively for the North American market. Initially, the 911 Carrera S in the 992.2 generation was available only with a PDK transmission, but it is now available with the MT package for the 2027 model year. The manual Porsche 911 Carrera S is exclusively available with rear-wheel drive, and also offers rear-axle steering, a ride-lowering PASM Sport suspension, the Sport Chrono package, unique exhaust tuning, and a walnut shift knob. The manual variant also offers 17 pounds of weight savings in the form of center-lock wheels. Meanwhile, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine mounted at the rear provides a robust 473 horsepower, and weighing only 11 more pounds than the Carrera T Coupe, it makes for incredible backroad driving. Distinguishing itself from the Carrera T is the ability to specify Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes. Highlighting the significance of the manual transmission, the shift pattern can be seen in the puddle lights of the car, as well. The new 2027 Porsche 911 Carrera S with the MT Package is available to order at Porsche dealerships now. For the Coupe, the starting MSRP is $167,100, and the Cabriolet starts at $181,000, plus a $2,350 fee for delivery, processing, and handling. For Louis Vuitton, travel has always been about more than reaching a destination. Now, the House is bringing that philosophy to the road through an unprecedented collaboration with Singer, creating two extraordinary Porsche 911 models that blur the boundaries between automotive design, watchmaking, fashion, luggage, and craftsmanship. Guided by Louis Vuitton’s Art of Travel philosophy, the collaboration pairs the House’s savoir-faire with Singer’s intricately personalized restorations. The result is two bespoke automobiles: a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic wearing an exclusive saffron, cobalt blue and yellow livery, and a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo, a cabriolet conceived by Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections at Louis Vuitton. Both cars are accompanied by made-to-measure Louis Vuitton creations, turning the automobiles into complete expressions of travel and an art of living. Yet, the project began with something considerably smaller: a dashboard clock. From a Tambour Clock to a Complete Vision The collaboration grew from a request for a dashboard clock for a car reimagined by Singer. Designed and produced by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton workshops in Switzerland, the mechanical timepiece became the catalyst for something much more ambitious. “This unique and remarkable adventure began with a request for a dashboard clock for a car reimagined by Singer,” shares Jean Arnault, Louis Vuitton Watch Director. “In addition to the design and production of this clock by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton workshops in Switzerland, it quickly became apparent to us that this collaboration with Singer could extend to the personalization of every functional element of the vehicle, enhancing them through our expertise in leather craftsmanship and watchmaking.” The detachable mechanical timepiece is inspired by the Tambour watch, including its distinctive shape and 12 polished and engraved letters spelling the House’s name around the bezel. Once the clock entered the cockpit, however, the instrument display itself became part of the transformation. What followed was a year of work devoted to reimagining the speedometer, rev counter and gauges around the graphic language of the Tambour line. Cobalt blue is accented with bright orange lettering, bringing horological design into an automotive environment. “The specifications chosen by Louis Vuitton exposed us to techniques and methods developed over decades of experience,” says Rob Dickinson, Founder and Executive Chairman at Singer. “They trusted us with their esteemed brand, their traditions and their vision and it was a joy to bring our two worlds together.” The collaboration ultimately became much larger than a clock or an interior. It became a complete reimagining of the vehicle: “The aim was to create a true synthesis between Singer’s architectural and timeless language and the Louis Vuitton culture, characterized by refined materials, travel and expression of style,” explains Octave Chany, Project Lead Designer at Singer. The project also marks a historic first for Louis Vuitton. For the first time, the House is creating a co-branded item, an equally unprecedented move for Singer. Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic The first automobile is a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic finished in saffron and cobalt blue, with a specially designed roof rack capable of carrying a trunk, surfboard or pair of skis. Its purpose is immediately apparent: This is a car conceived for epic journeys. The color palette is deeply connected to Louis Vuitton’s heritage. The saffron shade has appeared in the House’s archives for more than 150 years and has been used across its packaging for more than 20 years. It also resonates with Bahama Yellow, a hallmark hue associated with Singer’s earliest commissions. The combination has a particular automotive connection through Louis Vuitton’s travel trunks designed for Citroën in 1924, which featured cobalt blue interior reinforcements. Bright yellow stitching further echoes the saddle-stitch seams used on the brand’s leather goods and trunks. Cobalt blue demonstration tires draw inspiration from the handles and ribbons of Louis Vuitton packaging, while the rear engine air intake grille incorporates a geometric motif formed by the initials L and V. Inside, the cabin is entirely upholstered in leather with a natural hue inspired by VVT leather, one of Louis Vuitton’s most utilized leathers. The material is associated with the handles, shoulder straps, edging and labels of the House’s exceptional luggage and coated canvas bags. Louis Vuitton’s artisans selected the leather for the seats, while Singer’s team executed the interior leatherwork. The door-handle edges use the same edge-dyeing technique found on Louis Vuitton bags, with yellow stitching throughout. Diamond-patterned embossing on the seats, front boot trim and rear engine compartment recalls the “malletage” motif characteristic of the interiors of Louis Vuitton trunks. Ventilation eyelets in the seats are individually crafted and finished by hand and carry Louis Vuitton Monogram flower designs, a motif also appearing on the sun visor and headrests. The transformation extends to components normally associated with the functional rather than the luxurious. Plastic fittings have been replaced by hand-crafted components made from premium, natural materials. Adjustment knobs, control switches, locks, pull-tabs and air vents are crafted in metal, predominantly rhodium-plated, and individually hand-finished using techniques comparable to those used in fine watchmaking. Polishing and satin-finishing techniques draw directly from watchmaking savoir-faire, while anodising and electroplating create the specific colors. Even the engine’s technical components receive the same treatment. The fuel and oil caps incorporate typography used on Louis Vuitton watch components, while every element is designed and crafted to order. An Entire Louis Vuitton Wardrobe for the Road The Classic’s interpretation of the Art of Travel does not stop with the automobile. Louis Vuitton has created an exclusive capsule collection for its owner, with pieces cut from Millésime leather echoing the cabin and finished in saffron, cobalt and yellow. The driving wardrobe begins with a naturally grained leather racing jacket featuring a perforated LV zip closure and Monogram Flower eyelets. Straight-cut jeans use heavy cotton-and-silk denim, while driving footwear includes the LV Rally car shoe or LV Remix Derby. Perforated driving gloves and a carbon-and-glass-fiber jet helmet trimmed in calfskin complete the ensemble. Even the keys receive bespoke treatment, with a six-key folder bearing a Louis Vuitton x Singer stamp or a cloche key holder in the House’s signature blue. A pochette for the car’s documents follows the lines of a 1950s business sleeve. The luggage is designed around the automobile itself. A 1950s-inspired helmet bag carries the bespoke helmet, while the Bisten, a direct descendant of the suitcases the House first catalogued in 1892, is finished with a blue handle and name tag. The Keepall packs a week’s wardrobe into the cabin, while a pair of front-trunk bags is shaped to fit precisely within the nose of the car. The collaboration’s approach to automotive luggage also draws upon Louis Vuitton’s history. As early as 1897, Georges Vuitton offered trunks designed specifically for automobiles, capable of being secured to a vehicle’s rear or roof. The designs incorporated specialized patented locks, flat construction for easier stacking and “Vuittonite” canvas, which was waterproof, supple and capable of being dyed to match the color of a car. The bespoke roof rack carries a Louis Vuitton surfboard handcrafted in Angers before traveling to the Atlantic coast for its resin coating and fins. Its Monogram marquetry in blond oak and rich walnut requires countless hours of craftsmanship. A pair of skis, created in the French Alps from wood, titanal and steel, completes the collection. Together, the accessories form a contemporary expression of Louis Vuitton’s historic expertise in functional equipment for motoring and travel. Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo The second car takes the collaboration in an entirely different direction. The Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo is a cabriolet conceived under the creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquière. Finished in white with touches of brown, the car combines leather and wood in a sophisticated interpretation of classic motorboats. “Automotive design is a passion that has always lived within me. My collaboration with Singer has been a chance to reconnect with this fascinating world – a magnificent opportunity to explore truly exceptional automobiles,” says Ghesquière. The cabriolet embodies Ghesquière’s desire to merge the nautical and automotive worlds, reflecting his approach of combining contrasting influences. Wood gives the automobile a contemporary character, while the open-top configuration creates a direct connection with nature, sunlight and the road. The bodywork combines an echo of Calcaire Lutétien, the white limestone that has shaped the Parisian landscape, with gold accents, natural leather and wood. A large rear spoiler underscores the car’s capabilities, while the rear-opening luggage compartment reveals a teak-inspired wooden deck that continues the motorboat theme. Inside, the bespoke dashboard clock occupies the center of the console rather than sitting behind the steering wheel. Natural leather, warm golden gauges, a dial finished in the exact shade of the exterior and a matching golden ignition key create continuity between the cabin and bodywork. The dashboard bears the Louis Vuitton signature, while a distinctive leather patch on the steering wheel reinforces Ghesquière’s design language. Beneath the clock, the gearshift trim evokes the silhouette of the Noé bag through its natural leather drawstring. Behind the seats, a luggage compartment crafted from varnished wood uses the same technique employed for runabout decks. Bespoke Louis Vuitton luggage fits into the space alongside the lightweight soft top. Wood paneling extends through the rear engine compartment and front boot, where a bespoke trunk comprises three cases that slot together to create storage compartments. Leather fastening straps with pin buckles subtly reference motorsport, trunk making and watch straps. Fashion, Watches & Luggage Complete Classic Turbo For the Classic Turbo, Ghesquière has created another exclusive capsule in which the wardrobe mirrors the automobile’s palette of white, wood and gold. The dashboard clock finds a counterpart on the wrist in the Tambour Automatic, a 40-millimeter watch in ceramic and yellow gold. Both timepieces can be stored in a Coffret Tresor, first made by Georges Vuitton in 1896 and reissued here as a pair. The driving ensemble includes a made-to-measure suit in parachute silk, braided leather driving gloves and the LV Sneakerina. Gold and acetate sunglasses conceal a Monogram flower beneath one lens, while a carbon and glass-fiber helmet finished in varnished cream and a tan visor completes the look. The luggage follows the same philosophy. A garment bag folds flat against the cabin, while the Alma, Express, Noé, Cruiser and Petite Malle each bring a distinct Louis Vuitton expression to the journey. The larger luggage is designed around the car, including the three-part trunk integrated into the front boot and a Keepall 45 with a removable cover. Even the smallest details receive bespoke attention. A key holder carries the LV Blazon, while the Monogram Heritage necklace incorporates a leather key bell and medallion. A pouch sized for the vehicle’s keys is finished with contrasting yellow stitching. Where Automotive Craft Meets the Art of Living The collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Singer ultimately reaches beyond a conventional automotive partnership. It is an exchange between two organizations whose identities are built around craftsmanship, precision, and an uncompromising attention to detail.
