The New Porsche Track Experience At Laguna Seca Opens

The second Porsche Track Experience in the United States opens its doors.

WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is one of the country’s most iconic race tracks, with a mountainous California setting, and one of the most legendary and challenging corners in the motorsport world: the Corkscrew. Combining a tight turn with a dramatic elevation change, the Corkscrew is a test for drivers from all walks of motorsport, and the second Porsche Track Experience in the United States gives drivers the opportunity to conquer it.

On March 12, the first drivers got the chance to take on the new Porsche Track Experience at Laguna Seca, with the experience now being officially open to customers. The new Porsche Track Experience at Laguna Seca comes after having a longstanding presence in Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park, and bringing the celebrated program to the West Coast for the first time. The presence of Porsche Track Experience, or PTX, is celebrating its 26th year in the United States and 52nd year globally.

At Laguna Seca, the experience includes a variety of programs for drivers, like foundational vehicle control instruction and advanced performance training. Porsche has hosted Rennsport Reunion events, serves as the Official Car of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, supports Friends of Laguna Seca, and has celebrated various racing victories at the track since its opening in 1957, so the inauguration of the new Porsche Track Experience at the course builds on what is already a deep connection. With the new track experience at one of the most thrilling and notable race tracks now open, Porsche’s Track Experience at Laguna Seca is an exciting new chapter.
