Rimac Technology has appointed Nurdin Pitarević as Chief Executive Officer as the company advances its position as a global Tier 1 electrification supplier. An industry veteran with 15 years of experience, Nurdin Pitarević, joined Rimac Technology as COO in 2024. Marko Brkljačić assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer, ensuring operational continuity as production expands.
The transition follows a record year marked by the delivery of tens of thousands of battery and powertrain systems to international OEM partners, each meeting strict validation and durability standards in real-world use.
Founder Mate Rimac remains President of Rimac Group and continues as CEO of Bugatti Rimac, focusing on the $4.0 million Bugatti Tourbillon and the company’s hypercar programs. The V16-powered limited-run Tourbillon is powered by battery and powertrain tech developed by Rimac Technology.

“Nurdin and Marko have been instrumental in Rimac Technology’s evolution from a high-performance niche supplier into a trusted Tier 1 partner. Nurdin has proven himself as an exceptional leader during his time as COO and as my deputy in leading Rimac Technology. He combines deep operational expertise with clear strategic thinking and a strong sense for people and culture. I have full trust in Nurdin to lead Rimac Technology through its next phase of growth and to continue building a world-class Tier 1 organization.” - Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group; CEO Bugatti Rimac.
During his tenure as COO, Pitarević led the transition of multiple electrification programs from concept validation to full series production.

With new programs entering series production and a strong pipeline ahead, this is the right moment to accelerate our trajectory.” - Nurdin Pitarević, CEO, Rimac Technology.
Rimac Technology has ongoing partnerships with the BMW Group and Ceer Motors and operates at full capacity at its 75,000 m2 Rimac Campus production facility in Croatia. Five additional production lines are planned over the next two years, besides the development of next-generation solid-state battery systems announced at the IAA Mobility show in September last year, and new electric and hybrid programs.
