While Spyker dates back well over a century as a name in the automotive and aviation industries, it emerged in the early 2000s as a supercar manufacturer with an eclectic, vintage-inspired style and an exclusive, over-the-top offering. While its cars were iconic and exclusive in the 2000s, Spyker faded from the industry in the 2010s and hasn’t manufactured cars for quite a few years. However, its first model, the C8 Spyder, is arguably the most iconic, and one is currently available for sale.
It’s listed on duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, and the 2006 Spyker C8 for sale is currently available at Graham Rahal Performance in Brownsburg, Indiana. It’s one of just 121 examples of the supercar that were manufactured, and it’s finished with a black exterior and a tan leather interior.
At its heart is a 4.2-liter Audi V8 engine, giving it 395 horsepower. Known for its extravagant design touches, the exterior features chrome vent surrounds and wheels with a propeller-inspired design. Inside, engine-turned aluminum adorns the dashboard, and the leather upholstery features quilting as an added luxury touch.
