This year, duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. In that time, some of the world’s most desirable, iconic, and influential luxury and exotic cars have graced the cover of our magazine over the past 40 years, and together, the cover cars of duPont REGISTRY’s hundreds of monthly issues tell a story of automotive history and its evolution since the ‘80s.

January - Acura NSX
A legend returned in 2017: the Acura NSX. The new supercar with hybrid and all-wheel drive innovation was shown off on our 2017 cover.
February - Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari 488 Spider
In February 2017, Ferrari celebrated its 70th anniversary with a series of one-offs inspired by historic cars, and two of them were shown off on our cover.
March - Aston Martin One-77
This stunning example of the Aston Martin One-77 was for sale at the time it was shown off on our March 2017 cover.
April - Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6
The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 truck was our April 2017 cover star.
May - BMW M760i
The 2017 BMW M760i was a V12, all-wheel drive luxury flagship that marked a milestone for the brand, which was shown off on our May 2017 cover.
June - Lexus LC 500
Our June 2017 cover saw the Lexus LC 500 on the cover, which at the time was a new flagship grand tourer from Lexus. Its captivating, concept-like design is still beautiful today.
July - Chevrolet Corvette SVE Yenko/SC, Plymouth Hemi Superbird, Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
Three muscle car heroes, both modern and classic, showed on our July 2017 cover: a Yenko Corvette by SVE, a Plymouth Hemi Superbird, and a Dodge Demon.
August - Lamborghini Aventador S
A new chapter for the Lamborghini Aventador, the Lamborghini Aventador S, opened by the time this supercar was shown on the August 2017 cover of duPont REGISTRY.
September - Ferrari 812 Superfast
Ferrari was celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2017, and it also represented a turning point for the brand's lineup with a new V12 grand tourer: the 812 Superfast, which was shown alongside other Ferrari legends on our September 2017 cover.
October - McLaren 720S
The McLaren 720S, which was at the time a new flagship supercar from the historic racing-bred manufacturer, is shown alongside a Roger Dubuis watch on the October 2017 cover of duPont REGISTRY.
November - Mercedes-AMG Project ONE
The Mercedes-AMG ONE hypercar was the result of years of effort and development, and one of the first times duPont REGISTRY highlighted the revolutionary F1-derived hypercar was on the November 2017 cover of the magazine.
December - Porsche 911 GT2 RS
Still one of the fastest cars to ever emerge from the storied manufacturer, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS from the 991 generation emerged as a groundbreaking racing-ready machine, and got a deserving spotlight on the December 2017 cover of duPont REGISTRY.
