Mercedes-Benz envisions an ultra-luxe future of vans.
Mercedes-Benz has been teasing the future of its van lineup with the Vision V, and currently, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is one of the most ubiquitous and dominant vans in the industry, serving as both an incredibly practical vehicle, and as the basis for a number of automotive creations, including rugged adventure vehicles, RVs, mobile homes, mobile offices, and especially luxury vans, complete with custom gadgets and detailed interiors.
With the Vision V show car, which is set to make its world premiere in Shanghai on April 22, is not only a vision a vision of the future of Mercedes-Benz vans, but it’s also a look at a possible future model. Echoing the customized ultra-luxury vans that are based on Mercedes-Benz models, the Vision V show car previews a new future top-end van model, the VLS. The future lineup will include VLE and VLS models that will exemplify van practicality and ultra-luxury.
The new teaser image revealed of the Vision V show car shows a futuristic, ultra-luxury interior that is much like many of the custom Mercedes-Benz Sprinter luxury vans that have become popular on the market. Showing a beautiful wooden folding table that also functions as a chessboard, the upcoming VLS flagship will surely similarly serve as an oasis of comfort, productivity, entertainment, and practicality.
