Maybach luxury journeys north.
Maybach is one of the most prominent names in automotive luxury, and with the current Mercedes-Maybach lineup, the historic name represents cutting-edge technology and opulent design. A new highly-exclusive edition of the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 flagship luxury sedan, unveiled at this year’s prestigious and anticipated Monterey Car Week, takes that unique design even further, and it’s called the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow.
As its name suggests, its design is heavily inspired by the captivating mystique and alluring beauty of the Northern Lights, and the natural beauty of the environments where they can be seen. It features an exclusive two-tone exterior paint scheme, pairing Northern Lights Violet Metallic with Moonlight White Metallic. Other design elements like Dark Chrome trims and 21-inch Champagne Flute wheels add to its unique luxury.
Like in any Maybach, the interior is where the luxury design of the new Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow truly shines. It’s finished in hand-stitched MANUFAKTUR Rose Grey Exclusive Nappa leather with Amethyst Grey contrast stitching. The Nappa leather is paired with wood on the steering wheel and continues to be a prominent feature with inserts on the folding tables and rear-seat pillows. Other luxury touches include a refrigerated console, Maybach champagne flutes, heated and cooled cupholders, and the Executive Rear Seat Package Plus with a four-seat configuration.
Only 50 examples of the new 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow will be made, exclusively for U.S. customers, and carrying a price of $339,000, those 50 examples will begin to hit select U.S. Mercedes-Benz dealerships starting later in 2024.
