The new Porsche 911 GT3 is here!
Since its introduction into the automotive world in 1999, the Porsche 911 GT3 has represented the ultimate balance between a weekend track star and a spirited daily driver. With four current generations that showcase its gradual evolution to the upper echelon of all sports cars, Porsche is proud to celebrate the 911 GT3’s 25th anniversary by launching its newest model with two new versions simultaneously for the first time ever. Along with new tailor-made packages and innovative options, Porsche presents the new 911 GT3 in a traditional, track-focused variant with a fixed rear wing and a more understated version with a Touring Package. The lifestyle team at Porsche Design has even joined the celebration by releasing an exclusive chronograph for future GT3 owners.
The exterior styling of the new Porsche 911 GT3 takes aerodynamics to another level with design updates focused on improving overall airflow and downforce. An updated front diffuser and spoiler lip increase downforce, while teardrop-shaped trailing arms on the front axle improve brake cooling and stability at high speeds. Redesigned LED Matrix headlights with optional white accent rings give the front face a clean, modern look that pays homage to past generations. In the rear, the rear wing and diffuser also improve airflow, guaranteeing a balanced driving experience whether on city streets or on the track.
Inside the cabin, Porsche keeps things functional and driver-centric as they have always done with each generation. The GT3 cockpit features an easy-to-read tachometer with a track mode that minimizes distractions by showing key driving data only. Customers can option their chassis with standard bucket seats or 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, with options like lightweight CFRP shells for serious track enthusiasts. The Touring Package, which ditches the fixed wing for a more understated rear spoiler, now offers rear seats for the first time, adding to its appeal as an everyday driver.
Under the hood, the 911 GT3 roars to life with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, producing 502 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque to its rear wheels. With a redline of 9,000 RPM, Porsche’s engine channels its illustrious history in motorsports while continuing to meet today’s emissions standards. Drivers can select between a seven-speed PDK transmission or a six-speed manual with a shorter final drive for acceleration and control. Magnesium wheels and a lithium-ion battery reduce weight even more, delivering sharp and agile handling.
In true Porsche style, buyers of the new 911 GT3 or GT3 Touring Package can celebrate their ownership experience with a matching Porsche Design chronograph. The owner’s exclusive watch features a titanium case, a flyback function, and a dial inspired by the GT3’s display panel, bringing a piece of the sports car to the wrist. With an MSRP of $222,500, the new Porsche 911 GT3 models will arrive at U.S. dealerships in the summer of 2025, promising to continue the legacy of Porsche GT cars.
