Mustang fans, your wait is over! Ford’s latest refresh of the Mustang has the potential to make massive power. For the folks at Shelby, this means the return of the Super Snake. Based on the Mustang GT, their modifications allow it to make over 800 horsepower along with a body just as aggressive. But last week Ford teased us with an overhead shot of the 2020 Mustang GT500. So what does this imply? We’re sure Ford will be building a Shelby GT500, but they might just be licensing the name.

Shelby American, on the other hand, will still transform your GT into a Mustang Shelby Super Snake. They are now offering financing for 75 percent of the build, which will compete with Ford’s factory financing. Of course, it will include the Shelby upgrades we love, like massive brakes, 20-inch wheels, and a track-ready suspension. All of this starts at a base price of $113,445, so tell us if this snake is right for you, or if you will wait for the GT500 in the comments below.
