Record-Breaking Gathering: 60 Bugattis Unite at the Las V...

Las Vegas has hosted its fair share of automotive spectacles, but this one, from earlier this week, is one of the most significant. In the early morning light, rows of Bugatti Veyrons and Chirons gleamed under the Nevada sky, framed by the Wynn’s manicured lawns and the unmistakable red glow of the Sphere in the background.  More than 60 Bugattis gathered for the Las Vegas Concours (October 31 - November 2), making it the largest Bugatti gathering in history. Among them, 49 Veyrons and dozens of W16-powered successors and special editions, all assembled to mark the 20th anniversary of the Veyron 16.4, the car that rewrote the rules of supercars and exotic cars back in the mid-2000s. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Miller Motorcars (@millermotorcars) Last year, Bugatti brought similar energy to the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, hosting an ultra-luxury owners' experience that saw clients drive on the F1 circuit under the lights, while also venturing out into the Nevada desert. That same blend of performance and exclusivity carried over into this year’s Concours event, where an unprecedented fleet of Bugattis, Veyrons, Chirons, Divos, Centodiecis, Mistrals, and Bolides lined up in perfect symmetry on the grass. Every car gathered here tells part of the story that began in 2005, when the Veyron famously debuted with 1,001 horsepower and a verified top speed of 253 mph, dethroning the McLaren F1’s long-held record to become the fastest production car in the world. That historic top speed run at Volkswagen’s Ehra-Lessien test track, with factory driver Andy Wallace behind the wheel, marked the beginning of Bugatti’s modern age. Image Source: Bugatti Under Ferdinand Piëch’s leadership, the now iconic quad-turbo W16 became the foundation of an era defined by innovation. From the Veyron Super Sport to the Chiron, each new model refined the same 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged masterpiece. Now, with the Rimac-led Tourbillon set to debut with an all-new V16 hybrid powertrain, this gathering was both a celebration and a farewell. The Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance at the Wynn has quickly evolved into one of America’s most exclusive automotive events. Set against the opulent backdrop of the Strip, it brings together historic icons, coachbuilt masterpieces, and contemporary legends in one place. For Bugatti, it was the ideal stage to honor two decades of engineering excellence. With just 450 Veyrons and 500 Chirons ever produced, this stunning lineup of 60+ Bugatti hypercars in Nevada represented a once-in-a-lifetime view of the entire W16 bloodline and 90,000+ horsepower, gathered in one single place. For Miller Motorcars and Bugatti Greenwich, which has long played a role in the sale and upkeep of many of these vehicles, this event marked a celebration of a two-decade-long relationship with the French marque and its clientele. YANGWANG U9 Xtreme Breaks Nürburgring Record for Electric...

The Nordschleife has a new EV hypercar record holder. The YANGWANG U9 Xtreme has once again shattered expectations, setting a new Nürburgring lap record for electric supercars with a 6-minute and 59.157-second lap time. Following its record-breaking top speed run of 308.33 mph at ATP Papenburg just a month ago, its latest achievement cements BYD's performance division as a serious contender among the world's most renowned hypercar brands. The feat establishes the U9 Xtreme as the fastest EV around the Nordschleife and the first to dip below the seven-minute mark, a milestone long held by gasoline-powered creations. Behind this extraordinary performance lies an intense development journey that began in mid-2024, when YANGWANG engineers began extensive testing at the 12.9-mile Nürburgring Nordschleife. Every lap delivered valuable data on traction, cornering dynamics, and heat management, which directly changed the growth of the U9 Xtreme's track setup. On August 22, 2025, German racing driver Moritz Kranz, a veteran with nearly 10,000 laps at the Ring, pushed the U9 Xtreme to its limit. Kranz complimented the car's engineering, crediting BYD and YANGWANG's steps to coordinate EV power with traditional racing dynamics. At the core of the U9 Xtreme's success is its advanced e⁴ Platform and 1200V ultra-high-voltage setup, the first of its kind in mass production. The system powers four 30,000 rpm motors that generate over 2,958 horsepower, translating to a staggering power-to-weight ratio of 1,200 horsepower per tonne. YANGWANG's DiSus-X intelligent body-control system introduces "body-attitude control," which actively adjusts the car's suspension and balance in real time. This allows the U9 Xtreme to remain controlled at high speeds while carving through the Nürburgring's elevation changes, blind corners, and off-camber turns. YANGWANG's engineering team reimagined nearly every element of the U9 Xtreme's track readiness. A newly developed titanium-alloy carbon-ceramic braking system guarantees consistent deceleration under load, while a redesigned cooling system adds to motor and battery performance. Only 30 examples of the U9 Xtreme will be produced, each representing BYD's tech expertise and YANGWANG's vision for the future of electric hypercars. True to its name, derived from the word "Extreme" and the symbol "X" for the unknown, the U9 Xtreme redefines what's possible on the world's most demanding racetrack. Source: BYD UK

Bugatti Expands Into Mainland China With New Shanghai Sho...

Bugatti has just opened its first dedicated showroom in mainland China. Located in the heart of Shanghai, the nation’s financial capital and one of the world’s most progressive cities, this new space is a sign of Bugatti’s deepening roots in a market that’s become one of its most passionate. The company’s long-standing partnership with Kingsway Apex, covering both mainland China and Hong Kong, has been central to building Bugatti’s presence in Asia. VIP clients and select media got a first look at a space that meets Bugatti’s global standards, blending minimalist sophistication with the brand’s design-inspired DNA. Also making its China debut was a 1-of-40 Bugatti Divo. Each carries an $8 million price tag and is powered by Bugatti’s legendary quad-turbocharged W16. Top executives, including Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, and Hendrik Malinowski, Managing Director of Bugatti, attended the launch, highlighting how crucial this market is to Bugatti. “With the unveiling of the Tourbillon in China earlier this year, we have witnessed an incredible passion for Bugatti hypercars since the Veyron, which celebrates its 20-year anniversary, and an exceptional appreciation for engineering artistry. Shanghai – a city where tradition and innovation converge – is the ideal location for our first brand showroom in mainland China. This new space has been designed as a destination where clients can have a taste of the unparalleled experience we champion for all over the world.”- Hendrik Malinowski, Managing Director at Bugatti. Bugatti also used the occasion to preview its Bugatti Home collection, designed in partnership with Luxury Living. Pieces like the TYPE_3 sofa finished in Voltaic Blue with the ‘EB’ logo, the TYPE_14 rug that takes inspiration from Bugatti’s hypercar lineup, and the TYPE_11 side table, which follows the brand’s characteristic ‘C’ curve. From the stitching to the color palette, every detail reinforces what Bugatti stands for: engineering excellence and exquisite craftsmanship coming together. The Chinese automotive market remains the largest and one of the most dynamic in the world, with about 31 million passenger vehicles sold in 2024. The luxury segment alone is worth more than $150 billion. While domestic brands have grown and are increasingly becoming well known globally, a traditional legacy brand like Bugatti continues to hold its ground, because for Chinese collectors, the French marque represents something no startup brand can match: provenance and heritage.  The Shanghai showroom cements that connection and is a space where customers can not only specify their own bespoke future creations, but also closely engage, visualize, and preview the vast selection of options and materials that Bugatti offers. Exclusive F1 Streaming Comes to Apple TV in 2026

Starting next year, every Grand Prix, Sprint, qualifying, and practice session will stream exclusively on Apple TV. That’s a major shake-up for F1 coverage in the United States, where fans have juggled networks like ESPN and F1 TV Pro for years. Now, Apple is rolling it all into one seamless experience. This five-year deal builds on Apple’s deepening footprint in the automotive world, besides Apple CarPlay, and more recently, CarPlay Ultra, the next-generation interface that first appeared in an Aston Martin. The tech giant’s Vision Pro integration with Porsche helped give us a closer look at the T-Hybrid tech seen on the 992.2 GTS and the 992.2 Turbo S. Besides being used in the development phase, the mixed-reality headset even allows for a showroom experience, giving users the ability to explore vehicles like the Taycan in full-scale 3D.  At this year’s 2025 WWDC in June, Craig Federighi, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, appeared in an APXGP F1 car atop Apple Park. While it was CGI, it reflected Apple’s increasing involvement in the world of motorsports. After all, seven-time F1 world-champion Lewis Hamilton served as one of the producers and collaborated on Apple Original’s film F1: The Movie, the Brad Pitt-led blockbuster that shattered box office records, earning over $629 million globally and becoming the highest-grossing sports film in history, set for global streaming on December 12, 2025. Now, with this latest partnership, your Apple ecosystem becomes your F1 command center. Through the Apple TV app, you’ll get live coverage, exclusive content, and replays. Practice sessions will even be free to stream. Apple Sports, the company’s real-time hub, will provide standings, driver rankings, and push notifications so you can follow lap times right from your iPhone’s Lock Screen. Even Apple Maps and Apple Music will feature race-week playlists and Grand Prix city guides. F1 TV Premium, the sport’s own flagship streaming service, will now be accessible in the U.S. exclusively through an Apple TV subscription and included at no extra cost for subscribers Eddy Cue, Apple’s Senior VP of Services, called 2026 “a transformative new era” for Formula 1, pointing to upcoming regulation changes and new teams. That timing couldn’t be better, as an American entry, Cadillac, is also set to join the F1 grid next season officially. Dan Towriss, Cadillac F1’s CEO, said, “Cadillac F1 is incredibly excited about today’s announcement. As we build a truly American team, Apple’s scale, influence, marketing, and most importantly, deep commitment to innovation will bring us to American audiences in exactly the ways we want to reach them.” Post Liberty Media’s takeover of F1 in 2017 and the sport’s surging popularity in the U.S., fueled by Netflix’s Drive to Survive that first aired back in 2019, millions of new fans Stateside have been introduced to the world of Formula 1. The result is: the F1 calendar now includes three U.S. races, Austin at COTA (happening this weekend), Las Vegas, and Miami, whose contract was recently extended through 2041. Stefano Domenicali, F1’s CEO, said this partnership will maximize growth in the U.S. “I want to thank Tim Cook, Eddy Cue, and the entire Apple team for their vision and passionate approach to delivering this partnership, and we are looking forward to the next five years together.” The sport’s American fanbase reached 52 million in 2024, with nearly half between 18 and 24 years old, half of whom are female. Many already live inside Apple’s ecosystem, making this partnership a natural evolution. Images: Apple

Toyota Just Teased Its Next Halo Car At Fuji Speedway

We’re just weeks away from the 2025 Japan Mobility show (October 30 - November 9), but before that it appears that Toyota is already setting the stage for something big this Monday. The company quietly updated its homepage with a cryptic teaser that already has the car community buzzing. The big clue is that the sign at Fuji Speedway has changed.  On the left is the Toyota 2000GT and next to it, the legendary V10-powered Lexus LFA, both immensely significant models for Toyota. The 2000GT from the late 1960s was, of course, the car that put Japan on the global sports car map. Decades later, the LFA introduced in 2010, proved Toyota couldn’t just build sports cars, but also a world-class supercar. So when the brand teases a third silhouette beside these icons, it’s fair to expect something extraordinary. #新プロジェクト始動https://t.co/zpmIwYPYFu https://t.co/9u4qu7Zivl pic.twitter.com/UfrB8XVUAb— トヨタ自動車株式会社 (@TOYOTA_PR) October 9, 2025 Monday could mark the official reveal of Toyota’s new GT GT3 racer, which could serve as the foundation for what’s likely coming next: the Lexus LFR, the road-going supercar and successor to the LFA. David Wilson, president of Toyota Racing Development, hinted earlier this year that the GT GT3's debut is imminent, noting it could compete at the 24 Hours of Daytona in January 2026. So far, we've only seen camouflaged prototypes testing at Fuji, the Nürburgring and Goodwood. The Lexus concept previewed first in 2021 and subsequently at the 2022 Tokyo Motor Show already hinted at an aggressive front end, long hood, and proportions that appear to house a front mid-engine layout, most likely to feature a twin-turbo V8 hybrid setup, and a carbon fiber monocoque developed in partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing. This upcoming event isn’t limited to Lexus and GR because Toyota's teaser also features the Crown and  Daihatsu logos, suggesting a broader lineup refresh or performance tie-ins across its brands. If you’re a fan of Japanese performance cars, the reveal next week could be a big one and worth looking forward to. Catch the live stream at the link below. Zagato’s First Hypercar: The Limited-Run Manual Only Capr...

Back in late September, we reported on the first teaser for Capricorn Group’s debut road car, a project that promised to merge race-bred engineering with coachbuilt exclusivity. The veil has now lifted on the Capricorn 01 Zagato, and this production-spec coupe limited to just 19 examples, delivers exactly what that mysterious teaser hinted at: a 900-horsepower, manual-only hypercar engineered with LMP1 DNA and race-bred hardware, now wrapped in classic Zagato style. This is a clean-sheet collaboration that could mark the start of a new lineage for the century-old Italian coach-building design house and German engineering. Founded in 1933, Capricorn has long been a quiet force behind Formula 1 cars, Le Mans race cars, and even aerospace programs. The company has built its reputation supplying carbon-fiber monocoques, engine components, and precision pistons to top-level teams. The 01 Zagato is the culmination of that technical expertise, a statement of what happens when a supplier with racing DNA decides to build a road car on its own terms. At the heart of the 01 Zagato sits a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 developed in-house, producing more than 900 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque. Power goes to the rear wheels through a five-speed dogleg manual gearbox from CIMA, a deliberate choice that prioritizes engagement over excess. Capricorn’s engineers argue that fewer gears mean greater control and a more direct relationship between throttle and torque delivery, especially when you’re pushing the car to the limit on the race track. 62 mph comes up in under 3.0 seconds, and top speed is limited to 223 mph. “The Capricorn 01 Zagato produces more than 900 PS, so it has significant horsepower, but the key factor is that this is married with an ultra-lightweight engineering approach. As a result, the Capricorn 01 Zagato is a ‘pure, analog driver's hypercar.’ It is not about chasing ever-escalating extreme horsepower numbers or, indeed, bragging rights. Instead, we have focused on achieving a perfect power-to-weight ratio and delivering an engaging, uncompromising driving experience. The car is designed for the joy of driving, not for setting records,” - Capricorn Founder and CEO Robertino Wild.  The chassis follows pure motorsport logic. Drawing directly from motorsports engineering, Capricorn constructed the 01 around a full carbon-fiber structure, including the monocoque, subframes, crash members, and all exterior panels. With a dry weight under 2,650 pounds, it’s lighter than most modern hypercars, delivering a power-to-weight ratio (0.35 hp/lb) that sits in the same league as the Gordon Murray T.50 (0.30 hp/lb) or Pagani Huayra R (0.37 hp/lb).  The suspension features a pushrod double-wishbone setup with Bilstein dampers, which can be toggled between Comfort, Sport, and Track modes via the three-spoke steering wheel. Steering feedback, often diluted in modern performance cars, is preserved through a bespoke electric-assist system that disconnects at speed, leaving a direct, mechanical connection between the driver and the front wheels. Braking performance comes courtesy of Brembo carbon-ceramic discs and six-piston calipers. Capricorn’s own 21-inch wheels, available in lightweight alloy or full carbon fiber, highlight the company’s vertical integration, which extends from chassis engineering to component manufacturing. Visually, the car bears Zagato’s unmistakable touch, with signature design details like the double bubble roof. Founded in Milan in 1919, Zagato remains one of the world’s few remaining independent coachbuilders. Its portfolio includes icons like the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, Alfa Romeo TZ, and Ferrari 575 GTZ. The Capricorn 01, Zagato’s first-ever hypercar, continues that legacy with a clean, aerodynamic form that strikes a balance between aggression and elegance.  “Until now, though, Zagato has never designed a hypercar. I am delighted that the first hypercar ever to feature a Zagato-designed body has been created in partnership with my dear friend Robertino Wild and his highly experienced technical team at Capricorn. And I am also proud that by combining Italian design flair with German engineering discipline and holding steadfast to the vision that Robertino and I share on what a true driver’s car should be – we have brought a unique and highly collectible proposition to the market.” - Zagato President, Andrea Michele Zagato. The overall design aesthetic isn’t just timeless, but one that is functional and built around airflow and weight optimization. A perfect example of this is the gull-wing doors, which don’t just add visual drama, but when shut are shaped in a way to feed air into the engine. Airflow management and a substantial diffuser negate the need for a comprehensive aero package and wing to achieve the necessary downforce. It is also worth recalling that earlier this year, in May, we covered two of Zagato’s most distinctive modern builds, the BMW 4-Series Cabriolet-based Bovensiepen and the one-off Alfa Romeo 8C DoppiaCoda revealed at Villa d’Este, along with the AGTZ Twin-Tail #2 that joined Christian von Koenigsegg’s personal collection, reaffirming Zagato’s relevance in the modern coachbuilding era.  As for the 01 Zagato, each car of the 19 cars will be tailored individually, and owners can specify any body color or opt for a fully exposed carbon finish, even down to a custom weave pattern. The sporty yet luxurious cockpit can be trimmed in Connolly leather or Alcantara, accented by titanium, aluminum, or carbon-fiber details. In an age of digital cockpits, you get old-school analog gauges with a central tachometer and switches and buttons that will offer tactility. Also, the level of customization on offer resonates with Zagato’s historic coachbuilding lineage, now executed with Capricorn’s precision manufacturing techniques. Pricing starts at €2.95 million (~$3.4 million) before taxes. Sales will be handled exclusively by Belgium’s Louyet Group, a luxury automotive retailer with deep ties to Rolls-Royce, McLaren, and Pininfarina. Louyet’s new Capricorn business unit is already securing contracts with established clients across Europe. The 01 Zagato is homologated for Europe, the U.K., Switzerland, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and the Middle East, though notably not the U.S., meaning collectors there will need to import under the Show or Display exemption. Each car includes a two-year warranty and four-year service plan, with maintenance handled exclusively at Capricorn’s Düsseldorf facility. Nearly all parts are produced in-house, ensuring long-term component availability and quality control rarely seen in boutique manufacturing. Production begins in early 2026, coinciding with the expansion of Capricorn’s Nürburgring complex to 18,000 square meters. The company plans to build future projects in runs of up to 200 cars per year and has hinted at also taking bespoke commissions for private clients and limited-series collaborations with other OEMs. For Capricorn, this collaboration represents the start of a new chapter, a redefinition of what a hypercar can be when it’s engineered by people who build the parts that Formula 1 teams trust. As for Zagato, which has now made way into the world of hypercars, this is another reminder that its century-old design philosophy still has the power to shape the future of performance, one hand-built car at a time. How Centro Stile Is Shaping the Future of Lamborghini Design

Last week, we reported extensively on Lamborghini celebrating 20 years of Centro Stile, the Italian marque’s in-house styling division. We were also among the first outlets to break the story about the stunning Lamborghini Manifesto concept, a design study unveiled over the weekend at the Centro Stile celebrations inside the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese.  The event was led by current Lamborghini design chief Mitja Borkert and attended by several of Lamborghini’s most influential figures and the wider VW Group, including the great Walter de Silva, who was instrumental in shaping the brand’s visual identity during the Audi-era transformation.  Now, Lamborghini has gone deeper into how its design DNA has evolved and where it’s headed next. Having relied upon external design houses since the 1960s, Centro Stile was where Lamborghini’s modern identity was built from the ground up. Founded in the early 2000s and fully operational by 2005, it’s built into the engineering and production process itself, ensuring that every line, curve, and crease on a Lamborghini is both emotionally charged and technically feasible.  “A modern super sports car company cannot rely on external studios alone. Design is the number one reason people buy a Lamborghini,” says Borkert, who has led the division since 2016. Cars like Countach and Diablo, a model celebrating 35 years in 2025, with their iconic wedge silhouette, designed by the great Marcello Gandini, have been poster cars for enthusiasts for decades. That same philosophy has guided every modern model from the Murciélago and Gallardo to the Revuelto and the new Temerario. Inside Centro Stile, 25 designers from across the world bring Lamborghini’s visual language to life. They range from young digital modelers to veterans in their fifties who have seen the evolution from clay to Computer Aided Design (CAD).  Together, this diverse and multicultural team combines Italian style with global perspectives, Germans, Japanese, Americans, Poles, and so many more, working together on everything from aerodynamics to color,  trim, and ergonomics. They ensure that the brand’s signature design elements, like the Y-shaped motifs and hexagonal elements, which link to 1960s Italian industrial design, continue to resonate in current and future models. Borkert calls the design studio a “football team,” where everyone has a role and a shared goal: remain instantly recognizable, but never predictable. His philosophy centers on three pillars: curiosity, recognizability, and surprise. Curiosity keeps the team forward-looking, recognizability maintains continuity, and surprise ensures each new Lamborghini exceeds expectations. To further nurture that spirit, Borkert created a “crazy corner,” a small group tasked with imagining what the brand could look like 20 years from now. Artificial intelligence now assists with visualization, but creative judgment stays human. Borkert adds that Technology is a tool, but the final decision will always be theirs. This brings us to the aforementioned Manifesto concept, a sculpture on four wheels that brings Centro Stile’s efforts and essence into form. Like the Terzo Millennio concept before it, which carried design elements of the Revuelto and the Temerario, the Manifesto serves as a platform, previewing the design cues of future models.  View All Lamborghinis For Sale Images: Automobili Lamborghini
