Retromobile New York Announces Inaugural Exhibitor Lineup and Programming for U.S. Debut

The celebrated Parisian show brings five decades of automotive heritage, craftsmanship and culture to Manhattan for its very first American edition, November 19–22, 2026 at the Javits Center.

Retromobile New York, the inaugural U.S. edition of Paris’ storied collector-car salon, will open its doors at Manhattan’s Javits Center on November 19, 2026. As the first edition in Retromobile’s history to take place outside France, the event underscores the brand’s commitment to the North American market. Since 1976, Rétromobile Paris has served as a meeting point for the international collector-car community, bringing together significant automobiles alongside the collectors, dealers, manufacturers, restorers, craftspeople, and experts who shape the field. With its New York debut, that legacy now extends to one of the world's great automotive capitals, where the city’s unique position at the intersection of finance, media and culture, paired with its international accessibility and proximity to a significant East Coast collector base, make it a perfect home for the show.

More than a traditional auto show, Retromobile New York is conceived as an immersive celebration of the automobile, bringing together over 100 curated exhibitors across 400,000 square feet over the course of four days. The inaugural edition will span leading international dealers and brokers, automotive manufacturers and heritage divisions, restorers, specialist craftspeople, classic car clubs, museums, artists and collector-focused brands, creating a gathering that reflects the breadth of the collector-car world today. Beyond static displays, the show will feature interactive experiences and a live stage with programming to be unveiled in the weeks ahead. "Retromobile is not a concours d'élégance, a race, a rally or a club meeting; it is a complete automotive ecosystem," says Gérard Neveu, CEO of Retromobile New York. "We describe it as the world's most exciting pop-up garage."

Confirmed for the inaugural edition is a strong international roster of specialists from across the collector-car world, including renowned European dealers Fiskens, Girardo & Co., Joe Macari and Lukas Hüni, alongside U.S. names including Autosport Designs and Hyman Ltd. The show will also welcome Spyker, Historic Sportscar Racing, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Luminari Motor Company, Detroit Metal Shaping Co. and 1600Veloce, among others. Together, the growing roster brings every facet of the collector-car world under one roof, from buying and selling to restoration, preservation, and enthusiast culture.

Commerce has long been fundamental to the Retromobile experience, and New York will continue that tradition with Gooding Christie's as the show's official auction house, anchoring the program with a multi-day live sale of rare and exceptional collector vehicles. Among the first headlining consignments announced is a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4*S NART Spider previously owned by Steve McQueen, offering an early indication of the caliber of automobiles to be offered at auction. Retromobile New York will also be presented in collaboration with long-standing brand partner Richard Mille, who will present a distinguished selection of automobiles within a dedicated space at the show.

The exhibitor mix will extend into the worlds surrounding automotive collecting with a series of curated exhibitions exploring the culture, history and craft behind the automobile, with all partners to be unveiled in the weeks ahead. Among them is a collaboration with CART Department, the platform founded by collector Larry Warsh, which will present a series of art cars from the likes of Ai Weiwei, Futura, Keith Haring, Jay Z, and Shepard Fairey, exploring the intersection of automobiles, contemporary art and popular culture. In addition, iXOOST Artistic Studio, Time On Show Watch Gallery, Atelier Circourt, DPPI & Cercle d’Art, FILARDI, Antoine Dufilho, Michel Vaillant, and fine artist Lyn Hiner will bring further perspectives spanning art, photography, design and collectible objects. Central to the Retromobile concept is positioning the automobile not only as a feat of engineering, but as an object of design and cultural significance.
