Powering the Aston Martin race car is a 4.7-liter V8 engine that's mated to a 6-speed transmission controlled by a paddleshifter. As for its provenance, it was originally custom ordered by owner and driver Fred Schrader of Schrader Cellars. It raced during its first few years and was crewed by a professional race car team. It has never been wrecked or damaged, and has been driven just around 8,800 miles since new.
