Lucid Unveils New 1,070-HP Gravity GT-S

Electrifying Monterey Car Week this year, Lucid Motors has unveiled the new Gravity GT-S, which is a variant of the Gravity SUV with an immense 1,070 horsepower. Lucid Motors has been known for its highly innovative electric vehicle lineup, introducing vehicles with groundbreaking driving range and power, as well as high-tech features, futuristic design, and luxurious appointments. The Gravity is the brand’s first SUV, and with the introduction of the Gravity GT-S, the lineup gets a performance flagship akin to the Lucid Air Sapphire sedan. Like the Sapphire, the Gravity GT-S boasts significant power, and its 1,070 horsepower makes it America’s most powerful 3-row SUV, with the ability to sprint from 0-60 in just 3.1 seconds. It comes standard with the Lucid Dynamic Handling package, which, along with rear-wheel steering, gives the new Lucid Gravity GT-S agility and stability that is uncharacteristic of its size, along with superior ride comfort. An adaptive three-chamber air suspension also lowers the ride height of the new Lucid Gravity GT-S at speed. With three rows of seating and room for seven adults, the new Lucid Gravity GT-S is one of the most versatile electric luxury SUVs on the market, combining performance, luxury, technology, and space. Debuting during the festivities of Monterey Car Week, the new Gravity GT-S is displayed at Concours Village in Pebble Beach, alongside the Lucid Air Sapphire, Lucid’s other highly innovative performance flagship. <- Gallery -> Setting the new GT-S apart visually from the rest of the Lucid Gravity lineup are several unique design elements. These include blue exterior accents, blue brake calipers, and blue stitching and piping inside. The interior also features blue seatbelts, a blue steering wheel marker, and the Lucid bear emblem embossed in the front seat headrests. About the new Gravity GT-S, Lucid Motors Chief Creative Officer Derek Jenkins commented, "With Lucid Gravity GT-S, we've created a more expressive and exhilarating interpretation of the Gravity SUV. It combines extraordinary performance with the comfort, space, and versatility that define Gravity, delivering an exceptional experience for our customers that is uniquely Lucid." Lucid To Bring Robotaxis With Uber & Nuro To Houston In 2027

By Tyler Rampersaud –  June 18, 2026

Lucid, Uber, & Nuro To Launch Robotaxis In Houston

Lucid Motors has been at the forefront of electric vehicle innovation since it was first established, bringing forth models that set new standards regarding driving range, performance, and futuristic luxury. More recently, that has evolved to include ambitions of launching robotaxi services in partnership with names like Uber and Nuro. The second planned market for the robotaxi service from Uber, Nuro, and Lucid has been announced, and it is Houston, Texas, with the launch of the robotaxis set to take place in 2027. The launch will take place after the planned launch in the San Francisco Bay Area later this year, and it will take place exclusively through the Uber network. Autonomous road testing with safety operators is already taking place in Houston with Nuro, and the company, which leads in autonomous driving development, is thoroughly approaching the process with simulation, closed-course testing, and supervised public road testing. In the coming weeks, the test fleet is set to expand as Lucid Motors begins to manufacture production robotaxis in Arizona. Meanwhile, Uber has secured a 50,000-square-foot depot facility, as well as a dedicated charging pitstop in Houston. This facility will be a cornerstone in ensuring the maintenance, repairs, charging, and cleaning of the robotaxi fleet. One of the largest cities in the country, Houston is an important and exciting market for Lucid, Nuro, and Uber to launch their robotaxi program in, using the recently launched Lucid Gravity electric SUV and using future Lucid vehicles based on a new midsize platform in the future. The vehicles will use the Nuro Driver™ Level 4 universal autonomy platform, making use of redundant sensor technology to ensure safe and competent driving, while Uber will design the in-cabin experience, specifying the personalization and rider control features. Uber will also own the cars, along with its fleet partners, and they will operate exclusively through the Uber network. With Houston being the second location announced for its robotaxi program, the future of everyday transportation in one of the largest cities of the country will be shaped by Lucid Motors, Uber, and Nuro. Lucid Announces 20% Revenue Surge In Q1 2026

By Tyler Rampersaud –  May 06, 2026

Lucid Announces Q1 2026 Financial Results

Lucid Motors has been providing the automotive industry with high-tech and luxurious electric vehicles, including the Air sedan and the Gravity SUV. However, Lucid looks forward to introducing new models, with an upcoming midsize platform and robotaxi ambitions in partnership with Uber. The manufacturer’s financial results are in for the first quarter of 2026, and they show growth for the young and intriguing EV brand. Revenue in Q1 2026 is up by 20% for Lucid in comparison to Q1 2025. This comes alongside a major surge in production, with the 5,500 vehicles produced representing a 149% increase compared to Q1 2025. In April, Lucid announced plenty of significant business moves, like a new CEO, Silvio Napoli, a capital raise of $1.05 billion, and an expansion of the manufacturer’s partnership with Uber. With new models coming soon to Lucid’s lineup, and significant expansions of its electric mobility business on the horizon, Lucid looks towards the rest of the year with strong results to reflect on during the first quarter. Increased production and revenues, along with a major capital raise and an even bigger partnership with Uber than it had before, are all good news for the relatively young electric vehicle manufacturer. Lucid Reports Q1 Production and Deliveries, Schedules First Quarter Earnings Call

Lucid Group has entered 2026 with momentum, and its latest quarterly update shows both progress and pressure points as the company continues to scale its lineup and production footprint. For the first quarter ending March 31, 2026, Lucid produced 5,500 vehicles and delivered 3,093 units. The gap stems from a 29-day disruption caused by a supplier quality issue affecting the second-row seating system in the Lucid Gravity. That pause took away nearly a full month of deliveries for a model that now sits at the center of Lucid’s growth strategy.  The issue has since been resolved, and Lucid reaffirmed its full-year production target of 25,000 to 27,000 vehicles, holding firm on guidance despite this setback. This momentum builds on a strong 2025. Lucid delivered just under 16,000 vehicles last year, a 55 percent increase, while fourth quarter deliveries rose 72 percent to over 5,000 units. Revenue hit $522.7 million in Q4, contributing to a full-year total of more than $1.35 billion, up 68 percent. Lucid will share additional financial details during its earnings call on May 5, 2026, at 5:30 pm ET.  We’ve already reviewed both the Gravity SUV and the Air sedan in Touring trim. The Air sedan remains a benchmark for range, packaging, and efficiency in the luxury EV space. The Gravity, on the other hand, expands that formula into the popular three-row format with added focus on usability, interior space, and daily practicality, all in a comprehensive performance package. The Gravity is set to receive a host of new standard features for the 2027 model year. Looking ahead, Lucid is expanding beyond its current portfolio. Last month, the American EV maker confirmed the development of a new midsize platform, along with two upcoming models designed to broaden its reach into higher-volume segments. Q1 2026, production numbers reflect a company still pushing forward, navigating real production challenges that come with rapid growth. View All Lucids For Sale Images: Lucid Motors

Lucid Announces New Midsize Platform & Two Upcoming Models

By Tyler Rampersaud –  March 12, 2026

Lucid To Make New EVs With Midsize Platform

Lucid Motors entered the electric vehicle manufacturing scene with the Air, a luxury sedan that offered both range and performance that was unprecedented by the rest of the EV industry, and now, the Gravity has brought those same principles to an SUV. Both vehicles also feature various unique design elements, luxury finishes, and a hyperfuturistic aesthetic. However, Lucid, which has been consistently increasing its delivery and production numbers over the years, is now about to enter a new era, with a midsize platform coming that is going to serve as the underpinning for new models. With starting MSRPs of under $50,000, the new midsize platform from Lucid Motors will serve as the basis for two upcoming models: the Lucid Cosmos and the Lucid Earth. Both SUVs, the Cosmos is designed with efficiency, space, and performance all in mind, while the Earth is designed to combine the driving dynamics and efficiency of previous Lucid models with an “adventurous spirit.” Later on, Lucid says that a third new model based on the upcoming midsize platform will be announced. <- Gallery -> For the manufacturer, leading efficiency remains the main factor to the appeal of its vehicles. The new midsize platform offers the manufacturer the opportunity to use smaller batteries with lower cost and fewer parts to create vehicles that have cutting-edge technology and performance like current Lucid cars, but offer the affordability and footprint of a smaller size. A new electric drive unit called Atlas is at the center of the new platform, which also uses its technology to increase efficiency. Meanwhile, the Midsize platform from Lucid Motors is also set to be the basis for the new Lucid Lunar, a robotaxi with two seats that is currently still in the concept phase. As Lucid embarks on a Gravity robotaxi partnership with Uber, Midsize-based robotaxis are expected to be part of the partnership in the future, as well. With two successful models already, the new Midsize platform is the next chapter of Lucid’s cutting-edge EV engineering with two new models coming soon. Lucid Reports Increased Deliveries For Q4 & FY 2025

By Tyler Rampersaud –  February 26, 2026

Lucid Increased Deliveries In 2025

Known for some of the most innovative EVs in the industry, Lucid Motors debuted with the Air, a luxury electric sedan that demonstrated groundbreaking driving range and performance capabilities. Now, the Air has a companion, the Gravity, Lucid’s first SUV, which is bringing the same high-tech performance and efficiency to the fold, along with SUV practicality and capability. Along with the launch of the Gravity, Lucid is growing as a manufacturer, with more cars being built and delivered as time goes on. In the past year, Lucid increased its Q4 2025 and full-year delivery numbers by 72 percent and 55 percent, respectively, delivering just under 16,000 vehicles in the year and over 5,000 in the quarter. Throughout the year, production of Lucid Motors vehicles reportedly nearly doubled, and despite industry-wide challenges, Lucid Motors remained in line with its annual guidance number. In 2026, the production guidance number is 25,000-27,000 cars for Lucid Motors. In the fourth quarter of 2025, Lucid Motors reported revenues of $522.7 million, over double the Q4 2024 number, and its 2025 annual revenue number of over $1.35 billion is an increase of 68 percent compared to the full-year 2024 number. As Lucid comes off of a successful year in 2025, the manufacturer looks forward to building its legacy as one of the world’s premier luxury electric vehicle manufacturers in the near future with its groundbreaking innovation, unique design, compelling performance, and transformational efficiency. Lucid Posts Record Q3 Deliveries Amid EV Market Slowdown

Lucid’s Q3 2025 numbers demonstrate one thing: the EV upstart isn’t backing down even in what is a volatile EV market. The company doubled year-over-year production, delivered more cars, tightened costs, and secured billions in new liquidity to fuel its next phase of growth. For a company once labeled as a niche luxury EV maker, these results show Lucid is building the foundation for long-term survival. Lucid produced 3,891 vehicles in Q3, up 116 percent from the same period last year. Deliveries rose 47 percent to 4,078 units, generating $336.6 million in revenue, a 68 percent increase from Q3 2024. That follows 3,309 deliveries in Q2 and 3,109 in Q1. “We maintained strong operational momentum this quarter, delivering solid results in both production and customer deliveries” - Marc Winterhoff, Interim CEO at Lucid. While those figures might not rival Tesla’s volumes, they mark meaningful progress for a brand still scaling its Arizona plant and Saudi operations. Over 1,000 additional cars were built for the Kingdom, where final assembly takes place as part of Lucid’s joint effort with the Public Investment Fund (PIF) to establish local production under Saudi’s Vision 2030. Financially, Lucid is standing on firmer ground. Its liquidity jumped to $4.2 billion by quarter’s end, and would have reached $5.5 billion if you include the newly expanded $2 billion loan facility from PIF. The company’s strategy extends beyond building sleek electric sedans and SUVs. Lucid is also positioning itself for the next chapter of autonomous mobility. A new collaboration with NVIDIA aims to co-develop Level 4 self-driving systems, which could make Lucid one of the first manufacturers to offer near fully autonomous capability in private vehicles. It’s also pushing into the robotaxi space, delivering its first cars to Nuro for Uber’s upcoming autonomous fleet, set to launch in San Francisco in 2026. Uber’s $300 million investment underscores that confidence. Internally, Lucid has reshuffled its leadership to speed up decision-making and streamline global expansion. The broader EV market, however, faces headwinds. The expiration of the $7,500 federal EV tax credit for vehicles not meeting strict domestic-assembly rules has already slowed sales momentum across multiple brands that sell electric vehicles. Legacy automakers such as Ford and GM have reported order pullbacks on certain trims, and several luxury EV makers saw softening demand through mid-2025 as incentives phased out.  Without that credit, high-end EVs can effectively cost $7,500 more out the door, a meaningful hit even in the premium segment. Lucid’s Air Pure, starting around $71,400, is assembled in Arizona and partially qualifies for the federal credit depending on battery sourcing. Still, tighter eligibility rules have slowed luxury EV sales industry-wide, prompting some potential customers to delay purchases or consider models that retain full credit eligibility. Lucid’s third quarter shows a maturing EV maker, but the next phase will define whether it can sustain this growth and establish itself as a lasting force in electric mobility. Lucid Aims To Debut Level 4 Autonomous Driving With NVIDIA

Lucid Motors outlines bold self-driving ambitions. It wasn’t long ago when the concept of cars driving themselves was a science-fiction pipe dream. However, it has become quite real since then, with plenty of manufacturers introducing advanced systems to vehicles currently on the market that allow them to drive independently. Vehicle autonomy is separated into levels, with the most advanced that are currently available capable of level 3 function, operating autonomously in certain conditions, and letting the driver know when they need to take over control. However, Lucid Motors, already a technology and engineering pioneer in the EV arena with its epxanding lineup, has announced its intention to deliver some of the first privately-owned EVs capable of level 4 driving autonomy. With ambitions set out in collaboration with tech titan NVIDIA’s DRIVE AV platform, the company’s sensors, including cameras, radar, and lidar, along with its cutting-edge computers and DriveOS operating system are poised to make a significant leap in the industry’s journey towards fully autonomous driving. Along with level 4, “eyes-off, hands-off, and mind off” autonomous driving, NVIDIA’s collaboration with Lucid Motors is also set to revolutionize the manufacturing process, using NVIDIA’s Industrial AI platform. In the near future, Lucid plans to develop a “unified AI factory,” with the end goal of creating well-made electric luxury vehicles as efficiently as possible. Leveraging the technology dominance of NVIDIA, Lucid’s future plans coming to fruition would mean a major turning point in the automotive industry. View All Lucid For Sale

Lucid Announces New Campaign With Josh Hart & Jalen Brunson

Lucid’s lastest collaboration stars two Knicks heroes. Lucid Motors is steadily carving out its niche as a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer, boasting groundbreaking performance, range, engineering, technology, and design principles with its lineup, with not only consists of the Air, but also of the new Gravity, the manufacturer’s first SUV that was officially launched for the 2026 model year. With the launch of the new Lucid Gravity, Lucid has brought acclaimed actor Timothee Chalamet into the mix, and a new collaboration with basketball players Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart adds to Lucid’s growing canon of celebrity endorsements. Both playing for the New York Knicks, Brunson became an NBA All-Star in 2024 and holds records for his three-point shooting, while Hart holds the Knicks franchise record for the most triple doubles in a single season. Both also played college basketball for Villanova before entering the NBA. Surrounding the Knicks home opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers, taking place on October 22, the new campaign featuring Brunson and Hart is set to debut with out-of-home advertisements and social media content. According to Lucid Motors, the campaign is underscored by a common thread shared between the two athletes and the manufacturer: performance, precision, and excellence, both on the court and on the road, and it also cements Lucid’s presence in sports culture, alongside other Lucid initiatives that are currently aligning the brand with the worlds of fashion, film, and music. With a lineup of EVs that are pushing the envelope, Lucid Motors is a perfect partner for two of the most noteworthy athletes on the New York Knicks.
