    Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series: $224,900 Ultra-Luxury Roadster Debuts for 2026

Mercedes-Benz USA has announced pricing for the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series, a striking blend of timeless elegance, high-performance engineering, and bespoke craftsmanship. Arriving at U.S. dealerships in the second half of 2025, the first-ever two-seat Maybach roadster will start at $224,900, excluding destination charges.

Marking the sportiest model in Maybach’s history, the SL 680 Monogram Series offers two exclusive design concepts – “Red Ambience” and “White Ambience” – each with distinctive two-tone paintwork and opulent interior themes. “White Ambience” pairs Obsidian Black Metallic with MANUFAKTUR Moonlight White Magno, while “Red Ambience” contrasts Obsidian Black Metallic with MANUFAKTUR Garnet Red Metallic. For clients seeking further individuality, MANUFAKTUR Exclusive paint options are available, though production time may vary.

The exterior showcases an illuminated Maybach grille with an upright Mercedes-Benz star, optional PixelPaint hood pattern, rose-gold accents, chrome detailing, exclusive 21-inch forged wheels, and a patterned soft top. The rear is distinguished by Maybach logo taillights, a chrome-accented fascia, diffuser, and aerodynamic scoops.

Inside, both themes feature sustainably tanned MANUFAKTUR Crystal White Exclusive Nappa leather, paired with Maybach-specific digital display themes, a signature steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, and illuminated door sills.

Under the hood, a handcrafted 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine delivers 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0–60 mph sprint in about 4.0 seconds. The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive ensure optimal performance, while active hydraulic roll stabilization and rear-axle steering enhance handling. Four drive modes – Comfort, Maybach, Sport, and Individual – provide tailored dynamics, and extensive sound insulation ensures the serene ride expected from the Maybach marque.

With its perfect balance of ultra-luxury roadster design, Mercedes-Maybach exclusivity, and modern performance technology, the SL 680 Monogram Series represents a bold evolution for the brand.
