Morgan has been an iconic name in the automotive industry for decades, creating sports cars that combine beautiful design with classic-inspired touches, traditional engineering and manufacturing techniques, and engaging driving character. Roughly two years ago, Morgan revealed the Midsummer, a limited-edition model created in collaboration with legendary design house Pininfarina.
Only 50 examples of the Midsummer were made, each a stunning coachbuilt barchetta with visible wood touches, handmade elements, and bespoke design. The final Morgan Midsummer was completed in March 2026, completing a production run that began at Morgan’s Pickersleigh Road factory in Malvern, England, in July 2024. Ending an era of bespoke excellence for Morgan Motor Company, the Midsummer’s production run marked a new chapter for the manufacturer’s craftsmanship and quality potential, and a new series of bespoke Morgan masterpieces is coming.
In the manufacturer’s latest announcement, it was teased that a new commission unveiled by Morgan will be the beginning of a series of nine ultra-exclusive cars. Each car in the series is said to be “conceived as a singular expression of its owner,” showcasing the ultimate expression of Morgan’s coachbuilding and bespoke design ability.

With its “21st Century Coachbuilding” philosophy, Morgan is celebrated for its artisan craftsmanship, classic-inspired silhouettes, and driver-focused ethos. As the new commission comes closer to being fully revealed, and with it the rest of the nine-car series of bespoke commissions that is set to follow it, the anticipation builds for what the upcoming generation of Morgan masterpieces will look like, and how each car’s owner brings their personal vision to life in a bespoke commission.
