After more than 15 years without a Morgan flagship, the wait ends this week as the first Supersport has reached U.S. shores and will debut on August 14 at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, during Monterey Car Week.
The debut follows an extensive homologation program and comes one month after Morgan opened U.S. orders. Morgan has begun producing American-specification cars at the company’s Pickersleigh Road factory in Malvern, England. Demonstrators and the first commissioned cars should reach retailers in September. Morgan continues to assemble bodies by hand.

At the Quail, Morgan will display the Supersport beside the Plus Four, a model we reviewed last year. Both models will also travel on roads around the Monterey Peninsula during the week, giving enthusiasts a chance to see their proportions and road presence beyond a static concours lawn.
“The arrival of Supersport in North America is an important moment for Morgan Motor Company. Alongside Plus Four, it strengthens our presence in one of Morgan’s most significant markets and reflects our continued investment in the United States. The Quail provides a fitting setting for the North American public debut of Supersport and an opportunity to experience our flagship sports car on US soil for the first time. We look forward to meeting customers and enthusiasts during Monterey Car Week.” - Matthew Hole, Managing Director, Morgan Motor Company

For Morgan, this launch carries commercial weight as the British marque returned to the United States with the three-wheeled Super 3 back in 2023, then restored four-wheeled sales with the Plus Four in October 2024. Since then, it has delivered over 350 Plus Four examples nationwide. In 2026, Morgan has added four authorized retailers in Minnesota, Tennessee, California and Texas, continuing the expansion of its American retail network.

Unveiled in 2025, the Supersport represents Morgan’s largest product evolution in more than a decade. Its familiar long-hood profile sits on the CXV-Generation bonded-aluminum platform, Morgan’s most dynamically capable architecture yet, accommodating a modern U.S.-certified BMW powertrain.
That combination defines Morgan’s “21st Century Coachbuilding” approach: preserving the hands-on approach and signature design aesthetic, while giving American drivers contemporary engineering beneath the handcrafted bodywork.
