Polestar continues along its path of growth.
One of the youngest luxury performance EV manufacturers on the market, Polestar is on a rapid path of expansion and growth, with an ambitious goal to unveil five new EV models in as many years, nearly five years ago. With the debut of the Polestar 5, Polestar is on track to achieve that goal, and that lineup currently consists of the Polestar 2, the Polestar 3 SUV, the Polestar 4 performance SUV coupe, and the Polestar 5 grand tourer. The Polestar 6, set to be unveiled next year, will be an all-electric roadster.
While Polestar exists in one of the most incredibly competitive arenas in the automotive industry, making electric luxury cars and having to outshine other manufacturers with cutting-edge technology and high performance, the brand has shown positive results in its uphill battle towards becoming an EV titan, with growing revenues and other positive metrics reported after the first nine months of this year.
Compared to the first nine months of 2024, revenue grew by 49% in the first nine months of this year, while Polestar enjoyed 36% year-over-year growth during the quarter. Meanwhile, Polestar’s retail sales during the first nine months of this year of 44,482 represented a 36.5% year-over-year growth compared to 2024. In addition, 13.1% more cars were sold in the third quarter of the year than the third quarter of 2024, with a new market added in the nine-month period. With rapid growth and positive results to prove it, Polestar continues looking forward to a bright future.
