Porsche Celebrates 75 Years In Australia With Four Bespoke Cars

Three quarters of a century down under calls for bespoke excellence.

Porsche is not just known for a cherished lineup of luxury performance vehicles and over 75 years of history as a manufacturer, but it’s also known for being one of the greatest manufacturers when it comes to bespoke craftsmanship, personal expression, and ultra-exclusive luxury. Thanks to Exclusive Manufaktur, programs like Paint to Sample and Sonderwunsch allow Porsche owners to make unique statements out of their vehicles, and that bespoke craftsmanship ability has been tapped for a celebration of Porsche’s presence in Australia.

The manufacturer is celebrating 75 years of its presence in Australia, and four special bespoke cars have been created to mark the occasion. Inspired by the natural beauty of the massive country/continent, each car is representative of a cardinal direction: North, South, East, and West. The official unveiling of the cars is set to take place at the fast-approaching Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix, and their inspirations include the rugged western landscapes, the surf coastline, the tropical rainforests, and the dramatic cliffs. The commemorative configurations can be enjoyed by any Porsche customer beyond the bespoke models, as they can be recreated with Porsche’s online configurator.

Inspired by the north of Austraila and its rainforests, a Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid has been transformed with PTS Emerald Green Metallic, while Neodyme wheels and a Club Leather interior in Espresso evoke the rich earth and flora of the region. The eastern coastline and its crashing waves is captured by a Porsche Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, which features an exterior in Paint to Sample Ipanema Blue Metallic with 21-inch wheels that have Crayon aero blades, and an interior in black and Crayon leather, with Speed Blue accents.

The Macan 4S, inspired by Australia’s sea cliffs in the south, features PTS Gold Bronze Metallic exterior paint, with 22-inch wheels in Vesuvius Grey nodding to the dolerite stones that meet the sea. Black and Chalk leather adorns the interior, with orange accents and stitching providing a unique contrast. The Porsche Cayenne S, in its “Go West” commission, feature Paint to Sample Ipanema Brown paint, with black wheels, as it is inspired by the rugged landscape of Australia’s west, its stunning natural formations, and its ancient history. The off-road package also enhances its driving ability in the Australian Outback, with Bordeaux Deep Red accents inside evoking the shades of red that characterize the region. Celebrating 75 years of Porsche’s presence in Australia since 1951, this new collection of cars celebrates the incredible diversity of a stunning continent.
