The Porsche Macan 4S goes sightseeing in Cappadocia.
A stunning region of Turkey, Cappadocia is home to captivating rock formations, caves with incredible history, and unique culinary and cultural offerings like iconic hot air balloons and traditional cuisine. For Porsche, the beautiful region served as the perfect venue for the new Porsche Macan Electric 4S to show off its off-road capability.
When they arrive, the volcanic landscape of Cappadocia is dusted with a layer of snow. In 1985, the rock formations of Cappadocia were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. With each axle of the Porsche Macan Electric 4S being powered by an electric motor, over 500 horsepower is on tap. Being electric power, the vehicle’s Traction Management system can distribute that power in as little as ten milliseconds, effortlessly helping the vehicle navigate challenging terrain with speeds much faster than traditional all-wheel drive systems.
Atıl Ulaş Cüce, an expert in the Cappadocia region, helped the Macan 4S navigate the terrain with his decades of experience in exploring it. However, the luxury electric SUV’s off-road driving mode and features make the journey easy, like a virtual locking differential, ride height lifting for off-roading, and more. In a stunningly unique landscape with the once-in-a-lifetime sight of over a hundred hot hair balloons above, the Porsche Macan Electric 4S’s journey through Cappadocia was an incredible showcase of the vehicle’s futuristic approach to off-road capability.
