Porsche Design Adds Cayenne Models to Its Custom Timepiec...

The Cayenne receives recognition in the form of a luxury watch. Ever since the Porsche Cayenne debuted in 2002, surprising everyone by being both a proper luxury SUV and unmistakably a Porsche, it’s carried this quiet influence through the brand’s entire lineup. It became the gateway for a lot of new owners, the family Porsche that still handled like a sports car, and the model that helped shape its modern design DNA. So it feels fitting that as the first fully electric Cayenne arrives, Porsche Design is celebrating the SUV with something more personal, courtesy of the custom-built Timepieces program. What started as a very Porsche 911–centric idea, letting owners spec a mechanical watch the same way they spec their car, now opens its doors to Cayenne drivers who want their wristwear to mirror the same colors, materials, and design cues that make their SUV theirs. The allure of the program is in how naturally it carries over from the car world. You still get the choice between two movements: the Chronograph with the WERK 01.100 and the Globetimer with the WERK 04.110, both COSC-certified and built in Porsche’s Grenchen facility. But nothing about the experience feels overly technical. You start with a titanium case, either bead-blasted or black-coated, then decide if you want a tachymeter or minute-track bezel. From there, the configurator lets you dive as deep as you want. The dial’s color ring can match any Cayenne exterior finish, including the more vibrant Paint-to-Sample options, and the hands come in Porsche Design’s “Performance” or “Essence” styles. The straps might be where the Cayenne connection feels the strongest. They’re made from real Porsche vehicle leather and yarn, and you can match them to nearly any Cayenne interior color, a fun detail if you’re the type who notices stitching. If leather isn’t your thing, the titanium bracelet, matching the case finish, is ultra-light, and the quick-change system makes swapping between the two almost too easy. Both the Chronograph Cayenne and Globetimer Cayenne are now available in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Japan. Prices start at $6,250, but just like configuring the actual SUV, the final number depends on how deep you go. Shop Now Source: Porsche Design

Porsche Design Presents Its New Custom-Built Chronograph ...

Riding the coat tails of the 992.2 generation 911 Turbo S debut, Porsche Design follows up with a commemorative chronograph. The all-new 992.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S has officially landed, and along with it comes a special companion for enthusiasts, the custom-built Chronograph 911 Turbo S from Porsche Design. Designed to reflect the latest Turbo S in every detail, the watch gives drivers a way to carry the spirit of their car on the wrist. It’s a perfect blend of automotive DNA and Swiss watchmaking, with a black dial accented in Turbonite, a color developed exclusively for the new 992.2 Turbo S in collaboration with Pantone. The dial is paired with a customizable color ring that can match any exterior paint, including the legendary “Paint to Sample” shades, letting owners make a timepiece that’s truly theirs. Inside the watch beats the Porsche Design caliber WERK 01.200, a COSC-certified movement with flyback function. The rotor design takes inspiration from the Turbo S wheels, and the Porsche crest in Turbonite adds a subtle nod to the car. Beyond performance, the watch is highly personalizable: the sapphire case back allows for engravings like names, license plates, or even the VIN of the corresponding 911 Turbo S. Every time you check the watch, you get a little reminder of the driving thrill and precision that makes the Turbo S so iconic. Even the strap brings the car connection to life. Made from the same leather used inside the 992.2 Turbo S and finished with matching stitching, it’s a subtle but meaningful touch. There’s even an option to hot-stamp the “Turbo S” signature, combining performance cues with the comfort of everyday wearability. The new Chronograph 911 Turbo S is available starting today, through the Porsche Design Timepieces Configurator or select Porsche Centers in markets including the U.S., Europe, and Japan. Prices start at $11,292, depending on customization. For anyone who’s been captivated by the new 992.2 Turbo S, this watch is a wearable way to carry that experience everywhere you go. Porsche x Orlando Bloom Celebrate The Launch of The Chron...

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the original uncoated version of the Chronograph 1 returns. For as long as anyone can remember, watches have been synonymous with automobiles and motorsports, whether for their mechanical beauty or the precision of time that connects the worlds. Porsche plays a pivotal role in this bridge between two industries, manufacturing some of the fastest and most agile sports cars and the chronographs that help time their record-breaking laps. Porsche Design just launched the Chronograph 1 – 1975 Limited Edition for fans of both classic watches and iconic sports cars. For the first time ever, a titanium version of this historic timepiece is being offered outside of the exclusive Porsche car-owner circle. As part of the campaign, Porsche Ambassador Orlando Bloom joined in on the festivities with a photoshoot featuring an ultra-rare Porsche 964 911 Carrera RS America. Limited to just 350 pieces worldwide, the new chronograph pays homage to the brushed stainless steel model released in 1975, a tribute to the original all-black Chronograph I from 1972. The design mirrors Porsche 911 dashboards with its matte-black dial, crisp white indices, red seconds hand, and tachymeter scale. The Chronograph 1 – 1975 Limited Edition uses the Porsche Design Caliber WERK 01.240 flyback automatic movement, visible through engravings on the solid caseback. The titanium bracelet is fully adjustable and fitted with the historic Porsche Design logo. Each comes in a special limited-edition box, complete with a plaque featuring the same serial number as the watch and F. A. Porsche’s engraved signature. Whether you’re a die-hard Porsche fanatic or just love timeless watches with real significance, the Chronograph 1 – 1975 Limited Edition hits that sweet spot. With only 350 units in existence, expect them to disappear as fast as the cars that inspired them. Shop Now Source: Porsche

Porsche Design Debuts Its Owner-Exclusive Chronograph 911...

Porsche Design just dropped a serious watch for vintage lovers and Porsche purists, the Chronograph 911 Spirit 70. Created exclusively for owners of the new Porsche 911 Spirit 70, this watch revives the glitter, groove, and glam of the 1970s with attention to detail. The dial features a Black Pascha pattern, phosphor green accents borrowed from heritage rev counters, and Super-LumiNova touches for that perfect nighttime glow. Even the gold-colored Porsche Design logo and “911 Spirit 70 LIMITED SERIES” text mirror the trim on the actual car, making it a wearable piece of collector car culture. Designed and crafted in Porsche’s Swiss watchmaking facility, the chronograph focuses on performance and exclusivity. It sports a lightweight titanium case with a stealthy black titanium carbide finish, even extending to the pushers and screw-down crown. The Porsche Design Caliber WERK 01.100 movement is COSC-certified and runs under a rotor that mimics the car’s Bronzite-finished wheel. The case back features the same limited-edition number as the car, and a double-sided sapphire crystal guarantees you can admire the movement in perfect clarity. Straps crafted from original vehicle leather and detailed with matching stitching in Olive Neo or Dark Silver add yet another layer of authenticity. Porsche even embossed the same 911 graphic found on the car’s hood into the leather. Each set includes both medium and large strap sizes, plus a titanium clasp for a secure fit. Set to release on April 23, 2025, for $12,553, the Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Spirit 70 is available only to buyers of the 911 Spirit 70. Shop All Porsche Design Watches Source: Porsche Design
