Bugatti’s groundbreaking hypercars explore the stunning beauty of Portugal.
As the historic manufacturer prepares to enter a new era by retiring its quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 powertrain and replacing it with the hybrid naturally aspirated V16 from Cosworth that powers Bugatti’s new hypercar hero, the Tourbillon. However, as that era comes to a close, Bugatti’s W16 hypercar lineup still consists of some of the world’s most exciting, desirable, exclusive, and powerful machines, and Bugatti’s Grand Tour series allows drivers to come together to enjoy them in a truly unique driving experience in amazing destinations across the globe.
For 2025, Bugatti’s Grand Tour took to Portugal, a country known for boasting some of the Iberian Peninsula’s greatest historic and natural beauty, with incredible architecture, beautiful views, and rich culture. This year’s Bugatti Grand Tour took place over six days with 18 Bugatti hypercars traveling over 600 miles through Portugal. The cars that took part in the journey ranged from a 2007 Veyron to Bugatti’s last W16-powered masterpiece, an example of the absolutely stunning W16 Mistral roadster.
Other incredibly exclusive vehicles like the Divo, Centodieci, Chiron L’Ébé Edition, ‘110 Ans Bugatti’ Chiron, and the Chiron Super Sport 300+ took part in the epic journey. The route explored vineyards, mountain ranges, ancient towns, and of course, a grand finale at Circuito do Sol, a private racetrack that hasn’t opened yet, where Grand Tour Participants were among the first to experience its dynamic layout. Experiencing an unforgettable route through the majestic scenes of Portugal, the Bugatti Grand Tour 2025 showed that the brand delivers even larger splendor than that of its hypercars alone.
