Choosing the perfect supercar is now much easier because the 2021 McLaren GT defies all limits. Before it arrived, prospective McLaren owners had to choose between the Sports Series or the Super Series. Cars like the 570S and the 600LT opened doors to the brand while the 675 and 720 remained atop the lineup. They made use of different chassis and suspension technology to offer something for everyone, as engineers sought to utilize the best of both series.
What you see is the result. The McLaren GT offers more luxury and livability than any predecessor. Starting with an all-new chassis, the suspension of the 720S was tuned to be more forgiving in real-world situations. Also borrowing the engine, the 4-liter twin-turbo was tuned for more torque at lower speeds. Trading the high-strung screamer for low-speed grunt is always fun in my opinion. You will have 20 cubic feet of cargo space with the ability to reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. If you need room for a weekend trip along with the ability to cruise at 203 mph, the McLaren GT is for you.
