A legendary race brings McLaren a significant victory.
The 2025 endurance racing season has kicked off with one of the most iconic races at a historic track: the 24 Hours of Daytona. Over the decades, the 24 Hours of Daytona race, and its victors have forged legacies for manufacturers, drivers, and cars, that have remained influential in automotive history to this day, inspiring the creation of new performance cars and growing motorsport pedigrees.
One of those legendary manufacturers with a history steeped in motorsport excellence is McLaren, who is celebrating a victory for the Artura GT4 at this year’s 24 Hours of Daytona-supporting race with the Accelerating Performance team. The team’s Artura GT4, after an epic battle throughout the race, won the Daytona IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race on its debut with McLaren.
Based on McLaren’s new innovative hybrid supercar, the Artura GT4 won on its debut with Accelerating Performance, the Artura GT4 features painstaking lightweight construction, impeccable agility and aerodynamics, and a powerful mid-mounted V6 engine.
