Singer Automotive Design brings its Turbocharged family together.
Known for its reimaginations of classic Porsche 911s, Singer Vehicle Design is celebrated for its expertise in modernizing one of the automotive world’s most cherished legends. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Porsche 911 Turbo, one of the biggest milestones in the Porsche 911’s history, Singer brought together the breadth of its Turbocharged Porsche 911 restorations for a “family portrait.”
These include Singer Turbocharged Coupe, Cabriolet, Targa, and Slantnose Coupe restorations, all of which started life as a 964-generation Porsche 911. Each car is a re-imagination that pays homage to what makes the original 911 special, inspired by and made to the client’s requests. However, the Slantnose variant is the most exclusive, with only 25 allocations for Slantnose Coupe restorations that have all been spoken for.
The cars are powered by an evolved iteration of their original legendary Mezger flat-six engines. Twin variable-geometry turbochargers achieve 510 horsepower, all sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, traction control, and electronic stability control developed with Bosch help modernize the driving character of the undeniable classic icon. Together, the entire Turbocharged Singer Porsche 911 family pays a beautiful homage to a half-century-old legend in the automotive world.
