An English hypercar made just for the USA.
It was in December 2020 that McLaren surprised the world with the new Sabre hypercar. It seemed as though this new model came out of thin air, but it had actually been in the works for quite some time. What took many aback was the fact that the McLaren Sabre was homologated exclusively for the United States. That meant all 15 examples that were planned for production would only be found in the U.S. What we have here today is one of those 15 examples and it’s for sale through O’Gara Coach.
The McLaren Sabre example listed for sale is finished in a wild Pacific Colorstream with glossy carbon fiber across the exterior. While each of the Sabres created are incredible in their own special way, this example has to be the most distinct and unique of them all thanks to its paint. Inside is black Alcantara and glossy carbon fiber with trim that matches the exterior’s Pacific Colorstream. From the cabin to the exterior, this Sabre is a stunner.
Powering this rarity is McLaren’s most powerful non-hybrid twin-turbo V8 engine. This engine can produce 824 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. By having a top speed of 218 mph, the Sabre is actually the fastest two-seater, beating out the P1 by 1 mph.
