As one of the most visionary, admired, exclusive, and venerated manufacturers in the supercar world, Pagani is set to make a splash at this year’s Auto e Moto d’Epoca in Bologna. Scheduled from October 26-29, this event is a mecca for vintage motorsport enthusiasts and promises an unparalleled look into the iconic Italian carmaker’s 25-year journey.
Celebrating a milestone, Pagani Automobili’s first exhibition area will pay homage to its 25th anniversary with two revered models: the Zonda C12 and the Huayra Coupé. Launched in 1999 at the Geneva International Motor Show, the Pagani Zonda C12 was a game-changer with its futuristic design and fighter-jet cockpit inspiration. With only 140 road models built, each tailored to the buyer’s unique tastes, the Zonda C12 proved to be not just an automotive marvel but also a lucrative investment for its early adopters, and most importantly the celebrated introduction to the Pagani we know and love today.
Next in the anniversary lineup is the Huayra Coupé, released in 2011. The Huayra was a testament to Pagani’s engineering prowess and the second chapter of its current trilogy of creations, featuring innovative carbo-titanium construction and Active Aerodynamics with speed-sensitive flaps, complete with showstopping gullwing-style doors. A recipient of numerous awards, the Huayra has carved its niche as a modern classic.
Pagani is not just reminiscing the past, but it’s also celebrating its exciting future. Enter the second exhibition area, where the Horacio Pagani Museo will showcase the limited-edition Huayra Codalunga. This beauty takes inspiration from the 1960s Italian coachbuilding and racing prototypes, coming to life in just five units through Pagani Grandi Complicazioni. With a sky-blue semi-matte paint job and interiors featuring artisanal aged leathers and suede, this model adds a contemporary touch while honoring the craftsmanship of Motor Valley artisans.
Aside from the cars, the Horacio Pagani Museo will also delve into the journey of the Italo-Argentine designer and Pagani’s founder, Horacio Pagani, retracing his steps from Argentina to Lamborghini, and from the founding of Modena Design to the creation of Pagani Automobili in 1998.
