Art meets performance.
Breathing new life into a personalization program that dates back to the late 1970s, Sonderwunsch (Special Wishes) aims to deliver true one-off Porsches with unlimited possibilities. The evolution of bespoke manufacturing has opened the doors to new opportunities outside Stuttgart, collaborating with artists to elevate the experience of creating a one-of-a-kind Porsche. Celebrating its 75th anniversary as one of the brand's first importers, Porsche Luxembourg commemorates the occasion by teaming up with Porsche Sonderwunsch on a special 911 GT3 Touring commission. The exclusive project hits home as the artist chosen to add in special artwork, Jacques Schneider, has roots in Luxembourg as a native self-taught artist with a background in painting, sculpting, photography, and textiles.
Known as the Porsche Lëtzebuerg Legacy project, the bespoke build is both a tribute and a rolling piece of art. From the subtle yet vivid Fire Red lion graphics handpainted on its factory Ice Grey Metallic finish to the headliner embroidered with Luxembourg's outline and lyrics from the national anthem, every inch of this 911 GT3 Touring has been carefully crafted with meaning. The GT3's "Vive" motif shows up on the underbody, the wheels, and the seats, helping tie the whole tribute together. Artist Jacques played a major role in the creative process, leaving his literal signature across the car, from door sills to console stitching. Underneath all the custom art still lies a factory 911 GT3 with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six pushing out 510 horsepower, ready to scream up to 9,000 rpm with no rear wing in sight thanks to the Touring Package.
Inside, the craftsmanship continues with printed leather panels, aluminum-backed sport seat inserts with "Vive" in white, and a red-finished accelerator pedal that matches the exterior. The Racetex headliner might be the most sentimental detail of all, with handwritten lyrics from Luxembourg's national anthem stitched in using a specially programmed embroidery machine. All design elements required hundreds of hours of new techniques, from multi-layer roller printing to laser-finished wheels, proving that the Sonderwunsch program is still pushing boundaries. The Porsche Lëtzebuerg Legacy project is a standout example of how far Porsche will go to tell a story through design.
