Porsche Reports Nine-Month 2026 Figures, With the 911 Remaining a Key Growth Driver

Porsche delivered 178,532 cars worldwide in the first nine months of 2026, down 16 percent from the same period last year, as declines across most of its range contrasted with continued growth for the 911. This decline was unchanged from the rate recorded at the half-year mark and follows a 10 percent drop in global deliveries in 2025, when Porsche sold 279,449 cars. Looking at the January-September numbers from last year, the 911, with the rollout of the 992.2 generation and T-Hybrid derivatives, was the only model line to grow, rising 12 percent to 42,217 deliveries. Porsche said the GTS, Turbo and GT derivatives accounted for a significant proportion of sales, highlighting continued demand for its higher-performance models. Every other model line declined for the same period. The 718 Boxster and Cayman fell 79 percent to 3,291 after production ended last October, while Macan deliveries dropped 21 percent to 51,025 as production of the combustion model ended this summer. The electric Macan accounted for 23,029 deliveries, or about 45 percent of the Macan total. As for its sports sedans, the Panamera fell 35 percent to 13,714, while Taycan deliveries declined 31 percent to 8,699. The Cayenne remains Porsche’s strongest model line at 59,586, down two percent, including 7,002 examples of the new all-electric Cayenne delivered since its summer launch. North America remains Porsche’s largest region with 56,088 deliveries, down 13 percent, whereas China recorded the steepest regional decline, falling 33 percent to 21,493 cars. The brand's home market of Germany declined seven percent, while Europe excluding Germany fell 11 percent. “Our customers are deliberately choosing the exclusive and most emotionally engaging versions of our sports cars. This further strengthens our unique position, enabling us to serve both the sporty premium and sporty luxury segments ” - Matthias Becker, Porsche’s board member for sales and marketing. The decline reflects a shift in the market for legacy automakers as brands like Porsche are contending with weaker luxury demand and increasingly strong domestic competition in markets like China, where deliveries have fallen sharply from their 2021 peak. In the U.S., the end of federal incentives for electric and hybrid vehicles has weighed on demand, while import tariffs introduced last year have added further pressure. Unlike some VW-Group models that are built in the United States, all Porsches continue to be manufactured and imported from Germany. These latest figures arrive just days after Porsche outlined its Sportwagenschmiede ‘35 strategy, which places greater emphasis on exclusive sports cars, higher-end derivatives and individualization. Porsche also confirmed development of a new mid-engine supercar platform positioned above the 911 and said it is restructuring the business to break even at annual volumes below 200,000 cars. Manthey Reveals 30th Anniversary Limited-Edition Porsche Race Cars

German performance specialist Manthey is celebrating three decades of motorsport engineering with two exclusive Porsche race cars designed for enthusiasts and collectors. The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR 30 and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport MR 30 each will be limited to just 15 examples, bringing together years of track-tested development, lightweight materials and bespoke anniversary detailing. The two special editions made their world debut on Oct. 9, 2026, at the DTM finale at Hockenheim. More than commemorative collector cars, both models reflect Manthey's philosophy of developing technical solutions around real-world racing demands, with each component refined through competition and testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and other international circuits. The result is a pair of highly specialized machines that represent the latest evolution of two important vehicle ranges within Manthey's Race Cars division. Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR 30 The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR 30 builds on Manthey's longstanding Cup MR development program, which has focused on refining engine performance, aerodynamics, suspension, cooling and vehicle balance. Based on a comprehensively revised Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992.1), the anniversary edition brings those development priorities together in a single package. At its heart is a water-cooled, 4.2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine producing 560 PS (412 kW). Power reaches the rear wheels through a sequential six-speed gearbox, giving the special edition a significant performance focus. The larger engine is complemented by an aerodynamic and cooling package that has already demonstrated its capabilities in customer racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The underlying development version recorded a lap time of 7:58.605 minutes on the 24.358-kilometer NLS track configuration, despite producing less power than the anniversary model. Lightweight construction is central to the car's design. The front end, including the wings and hood, along with the rear bodywork, wheel arch extensions, rear lid and rear wing, uses recycled carbon fiber. These components are designed to optimize airflow and increase downforce while contributing to the car's overall performance. A central radiator layout delivers aerodynamic benefits while improving exhaust airflow and reducing the risk of radiator damage in the event of contact. An optimized brake-cooling system, featuring significantly enlarged air inlets, also helps reduce thermal strain on components and extend their operating life. Additional aerodynamic enhancements include a front splitter with an integrated underbody, extra aerodynamic flicks and a newly developed rear wing with enlarged end plates and modified mounting. The revised wing mounting also allows the integration of an aerodynamically optimized air intake. The car's wider stance is enabled by wheel arch extensions that accommodate a track-width increase of 20 millimeters at the front and 50 millimeters at the rear. Completing the package is a lightweight wheel set produced at Manthey's own forged-wheel facility. Finished in an exclusive 30th-anniversary design, the wheels save an additional 3.8 kilograms. A six-way adjustable coilover suspension with optimized spring rates and modified front and rear axle kinematics rounds out the mechanical revisions. The anniversary details continue inside the cabin, where a bespoke ‘30 Years of Manthey’ badge and embroidered anniversary lettering on the seats distinguish the limited-edition model. Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport MR 30 The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport MR 30 celebrates a decade of Cayman-based race car development at Manthey. It also marks the final stage of a platform that has played a defining role in the company's Race Cars division. The development story began with Manthey's homologation kit for the first Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport (981), which enabled the car to compete in GT4 racing series worldwide. Manthey also launched the Cayman GT4 Trophy by Manthey Racing, now known as the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring, to provide a competitive platform on the Nordschleife. Subsequent projects based on the 981 and 718 generations included the Trackday MR, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport Leichtbau and customer racing developments for Nordschleife competition. The MR 30 consolidates the lessons learned across that decade of engineering and testing. Lightweight construction and comprehensively revised aerodynamics define the anniversary model. Extensive carbon-fiber body components, paired with a special lightweight wheel set manufactured in-house, reduce weight by a total of 5.7 kilograms compared with the base model. The 500 PS race car is designed to make the most of those weight savings and its aerodynamic refinements. Carbon-fiber components include the fenders with lightweight headlights, a hood with a central radiator vent, the front bumper and splitter, and a redesigned rear section incorporating a rear bumper, a trunk lid with a lightweight window and a rear wing. A carbon-fiber diffuser and additional front flicks provide further downforce. As with the 911 GT3 Cup MR 30, the Cayman uses a central radiator layout and optimized brake cooling. Its brake air ducts draw on developments from the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport EVO. The car's development has been continuously tested and refined under real racing conditions. During validation, the vehicle concept achieved a top-20 overall finish at the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, providing further evidence of its performance under demanding endurance-racing conditions. Exclusive details distinguish the anniversary edition from the standard model. The rear-wing end plates carry the ‘30 Years Anniversary’ logo, while a ‘30 Years Manthey’ badge features the individual model number. The headrests also display the anniversary logo. Exclusive Anniversary Design, Limited Production Both Manthey MR 30 models feature an anniversary livery developed specifically for the company's 30th year. The show cars combine a white base with red accents and a reinterpreted streamlined design, drawing directly on Manthey's corporate colors and motorsport heritage. The 911 GT3 Cup MR 30's white-painted chassis takes inspiration from historic Porsche race cars. Across both models, the graphic elements connect the company's heritage with its future, drawing on the anniversary livery of Manthey's No. 911 car at the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring. Rather than simply revisiting historic designs, the anniversary models reinterpret familiar Manthey styling cues. The resulting aesthetic is intended to reflect the company's development philosophy while offering a glimpse of the design language that will shape future racing programs and engineering projects. Production is limited to 15 examples of each model, for a combined total of 30 cars in recognition of Manthey's 30th anniversary. Order requests will be accepted through Oct. 30, 2026, after which Manthey will make the final allocation because of the limited production run. Deliveries of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport MR 30 are scheduled to begin in November 2026, while deliveries of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR 30 will commence in the first quarter of 2027. Pricing has not been revealed, but both cars will be available to buy in the United States, offered through Porsche Motorsport North America. Three Decades of Motorsport Expertise For Manthey, the two anniversary editions represent more than a milestone. They bring together three decades of engineering experience, competitive development and customer-focused motorsport projects. “Both cars exemplify the way development takes place at Manthey: driven by specific customer requirements and motorsport projects. They were not created to celebrate an anniversary, but for use on the racetrack. The fact that we are now able to offer the results of these two development paths as limited-edition special models makes them a particularly fitting way to conclude our 30th anniversary year,” says Nicolas Raeder, managing director of Manthey Racing GmbH. Helmut Brakhage, director of Race Cars at Manthey, also emphasizes the significance of the two models in the company's development history. “30 years of Manthey means three decades of experience in global motorsport, three decades of development and three decades of total enthusiasm for our products,” he said. “We want to express this through these two special edition models. The 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport MR 30 is the flagship of the mid-engine racing car that has enjoyed success for over 10 years. A vehicle concept that we were privileged to help shape and which we are celebrating appropriately at the end of the model range.” With just 30 cars planned between them, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR 30 and 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport MR 30 offer a distinctive expression of Manthey's engineering philosophy. Their combination of competition-developed performance, carbon-fiber construction, specialized aerodynamics and individually numbered anniversary details makes them a fitting tribute to three decades of motorsport development. Porsche Built This While You Waited for a 918 Spyder, and It's For Sale

Even almost thirteen years after its launch, the Porsche 918 Spyder continues to hold immense significance among collectors and enthusiasts in the automotive world, serving as a true pioneer in hybrid hypercar mayhem alongside the coveted McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari. And while the project took over three years to develop, with clients already on board prior to any scheduled production, Porsche dreamed up a special 911 Turbo S “Edition 918 Spyder” to appease owners during the long wait. Rarely surfacing to market, as many are tucked away alongside their hypercar counterparts, the team at Ferrari of Central Florida is proud to showcase this 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet “Edition 918 Spyder” as part of its inventory of exotics for sale on duPont REGISTRY. Available as part of the 997 generation, in coupe or open-top form, this special edition Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet is finished in black with a matching black canvas top. The stealthy theme continues with gloss carbon-finished side mirrors, air intakes, and forged sport wheels. In tune with the 918 Spyder and Porsche’s use of Acid Green touches, the side mirrors. Turbo S badging, “Edition 918 Spyder” door decals, and Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes are also painted in the same vibrant shade of green as a subtle nod, and a more if you know, you know look. The interior ties everything together in a minimal yet noticeable fashion, with a full black leather interior highlighted with added touches of exposed carbon fiber. The use of Acid Green continues in the form of piping and contrast stitching on the comfort seats, sports steering wheel, dashboard, and door trim. Porsche even incorporated the same shade of green into the gauge cluster and sports chrono package to complete the look. To the naked eye, you may not even know that it's one of the rarest versions of the Porsche 911 Turbo S, and that’s exactly the point. The 997 Porsche 911 Turbo S packs a 3.8L twin-turbo flat-six that sends 530 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. It’s paired exclusively with Porsche’s lightning-quick Porsche PDK transmission, which, even by today’s standards, still goes through gears with zero hesitation. Launch control was standard here, and its 0–60 mph time is around 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 196 mph. Packaged in an ultra-rare configuration that rarely comes up for sale, this 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet “Edition 918 Spyder” is now available at Ferrari of Central Florida by clicking the link below. Porsche Teases 'Mission S' As It Confirms Mid-Engine Supercar Above the 911

Porsche has announced development of a mid-engine sports car platform that will underpin a new model line positioned above the  911, as the German marque expands into more exclusive, higher-margin segments. The announcement came at its Capital Markets Day in Weissach as part of a new strategy called Sportwagenschmiede '35, which roughly translates to a forge for sports cars. However, Porsche has not disclosed a name, powertrain, production timeline, or other technical details for this upcoming flagship, but it has offered a first glimpse of what comes next. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Porsche (@porsche) Porsche has teased the Mission S, which will provide a preview of its potential mid-engine super sports car platform when it is revealed on October 15. For now, the teaser offers little beyond a first look at the car, and Porsche has not confirmed whether the Mission S name will carry over to a production model. The Mission S name itself is notable because Porsche has a history of using "Mission" names for concepts, rather than necessarily carrying those names into production. The Mission E became the Taycan, while the Mission X was Porsche's 2023 electric hypercar concept. This announcement comes nine months after Michael Leiters took over as Porsche CEO. He previously led McLaren Automotive and served as Ferrari's chief technology officer, bringing extensive experience with mid-engine supercars. The Mission S also raises an intriguing prospect. More than a decade after the 918 Spyder joined the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari in the original hybrid "Holy Trinity," McLaren and Ferrari now have the W1 and F80. Could this finally preview the missing link for a "Holy Trinity 2.0" and the long-awaited successor to the 918, Porsche's next halo exotic? While Porsche hasn’t revealed a powertrain or production timeline for the new supercar, we covered Porsche's W18 engine patent in October last year, and that filing is worth revisiting now, though Porsche has never connected the engine to this project, or indeed to any production model.  The company is continuing to invest in combustion, plug-in hybrid and battery-electric technology, meaning the powertrain behind its new flagship remains an open question. Whatever eventually emerges will also be developed during a new era for Porsche design, with Tobias Suhlmann taking over from longtime design chief Michael Mauer. "The ultimate goal is to further strengthen our unique sports car brand, across all model lines and with new, highly desirable models in particularly high-margin segments" - Dr. Michael Leiters, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG. Porsche's wider product plan includes the all-electric 718 Boxster and Cayman, which are expected to support sales through their first full year of production in 2028. A new B-Segment SUV with combustion and plug-in hybrid powertrains is also planned and will be revealed in 2028, while Porsche is studying another SUV positioned above the Cayenne for the D-Segment. The company plans at least one brand-defining product launch annually through 2030. Porsche is also bringing its Performance, Exclusiveness and Heritage activities under a "Home of Sports Cars" umbrella. It will increase its stake in Manthey Racing to 67 percent, with plans to expand their joint offering from performance kits to few-off vehicle concepts. Porsche also aims to grow its Sonderwunsch business sixfold. Overall, this strategy is accompanied by a broader restructuring effort aimed at streamlining Porsche's operations and lowering its break-even point to fewer than 200,000 vehicles. Porsche has also sold its stakes in Rimac and Bugatti Rimac as it focuses resources on its core business. View All Porsches for Sale Images: Porsche

The Ultimate Porsche 911 Turbo Buying Guide

When the Porsche 911 Turbo first hit the road in the mid-1970s, it instantly made waves throughout the automotive world. Known internally as the 930, it took the classic 911 silhouette and dialed it up with a turbocharged engine that packed a punch like nothing else from Porsche at the time. That iconic whale tail spoiler was a statement piece that wasn't just for looks, as it helped provide downforce on high-speed straights. The 911 Turbo redefined what a high-performance road car could be, combining race-bred engineering with street-ready drivability. Over the years, each generation of the 911 Turbo has raised the bar in both performance and luxury. From the raw, boost-heavy punch of the air-cooled 930 to the modern 992 Turbo S that hits 60 mph in under 3 seconds, the Turbo badge has come to symbolize the sweet spot in the 911 range. Porsche's ability to evolve the car with cutting-edge tech, active aerodynamics, all-wheel drive, and twin-turbo flat-sixes without losing its soul has kept the Turbo relevant for decades. What really sets the 911 Turbo apart is how it balances brute force with timeless beauty. The widened rear arches, integrated rear spoiler, and muscular stance give it unmistakable presence without going over the top. Inside, it's the perfect blend of high-quality materials, sleek digital displays, and that classic five-dial instrument cluster that ties the past to the present. Whether specced with two-tone leather, carbon fiber trim, or subtle aluminum finishes, the cabin always feels tailored like a designer suit built for speed. The Porsche 911 Turbo has always represented the best of both worlds: uncompromising performance and luxury that doesn't shout. It's a car that's just as at home carving up mountain passes as it is pulling up to a black-tie event. And after nearly 50 years of evolution, it remains the ultimate expression of what a Porsche road car should be. Porsche Design and Hodinkee Revive a Legendary Chronograph

Some watch collaborations simply put two recognizable names on the dial, while others actually bring something meaningful back to life. The latest Porsche Design and Hodinkee collaboration falls into the latter category, revisiting one of the most recognizable chronographs of the late 1970s and 1980s. The new Porsche Design Chronograph 1 Utility–Limited Edition for Hodinkee is limited to just 350 pieces, but the bigger story is the return of a movement that collectors have been waiting more than two decades to see again. The watch takes inspiration from Porsche Design’s military Chronograph 1 models, which were built around the idea that a chronograph should be easy to read, dependable, and useful first and foremost. That philosophy came through most famously with the Lemania 5100, an automatic chronograph movement known for its unusual central chronograph-minute hand, 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, running seconds at 9 o’clock, and 24-hour indicator at 12 o’clock. It eventually disappeared after the movement was discontinued, leaving vintage Porsche Design military chronographs and other Lemania 5100-powered watches popular among collectors.Porsche Design essentially took that formula and rebuilt it. The newly developed WERK 01.340 brings back the central chronograph-minute display and 24-hour indication while adding modern performance, COSC certification, and a 60-hour power reserve. The 42mm case is made from uncoated titanium, keeping things lightweight and tying the watch back to Porsche Design’s earlier titanium chronographs. Even the dial stays focused on functionality, with a blacked-out design, red accents, Super-LumiNova, a 12-hour chapter ring, and the simple “Utility” designation at 3 o’clock. The watch comes fitted on a matching titanium bracelet, but Porsche Design and Hodinkee also include an Agave Green leather Bund strap made from material inspired by Porsche sports-car interiors. A quick-change system makes it easy to switch between the two without tools, giving the watch a more traditional military-watch appearance when desired. The Porsche Design Chronograph 1 Utility–Limited Edition for Hodinkee is also the second chapter of the brands’ three-part collaboration, following the 2024 Chronograph 1–Hodinkee Edition. Limited to 350 pieces worldwide, it launched on October 1 for $9,650, with 100 examples allocated exclusively to Hodinkee and Watches of Switzerland in the U.S. Source: Porsche Design/Hodinkee

Porsche Wins The 2026 Petit Le Mans

Outside Atlanta, Georgia, the Petit Le Mans endurance race at Road Atlanta served as the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s season finale, and emerging victorious was Porsche. The number 6 Porsche 963 LMDh hypercar won the race in difficult circumstances: 16 safety car deployments, a red-flag interruption, and heavy rain. With its 1.205-second lead, the victory marked the first time ever that a manufacturer clinched victory at Daytona, Sebring, and Road Atlanta in one IMSA season. Meanwhile, the number 7 Porsche Penske Motorsport car ran alongside its counterpart for much of the race, but was forced to retire due to an accident about 90 minutes before the end of the race. Finishing the season in second place in the manufacturer standings for the season, Porsche emerged victorious for a third time in the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, consisting of Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road America, and Road Atlanta. Porsche’s 963 hypercar has remained the most victorious LMDh racing hypercar since the regulation was introduced in 2023. Combining innovative hybrid technology with the pinnacle of endurance racing engineering, the group of top-class hypercars represents some of the most ambitious, futuristic, and powerful vehicles in the racing world. <- Gallery -> About his victory, driver Laurens Vanthoor of the number 6 Porsche 963 commented, “I have no idea how we pulled this off. We all did a perfect job: Porsche, the Porsche Penske Motorsport team, and us drivers in the cockpit. A difficult season is thus coming to an end with an absolute highlight. After this nail-biter at Road Atlanta, I’m exhausted and very happy.” Alongside the 963 hypercars in the race, the Porsche 911 GT3 R was present throughout as well, with AO Racing’s iconic “Rexy” finishing in second place in the GTD Pro class, and the Manthey 1st Phorm 911 GT3 R finishing second in the GTD category. As Porsche celebrates 75 years of motorsport this year, Petit Le Mans brought the manufacturer a milestone victory and the conclusion of yet another successful IMSA season. How The Porsche 911 GT3 Bergsport Is Made

Porsche recently revealed the 911 GT3 Bergsport, which is based on the 911 GT3 Touring but, exclusively for Europe, features a special configuration that pays homage to alpine hillclimb racing, something integral to early chapters of Porsche’s history. Only 100 units of the Bergsport will be made, and the manufacturer’s Exclusive Manufaktur division, with incredible craftsmanship, is what brings the highly exclusive special edition to life. The car starts life, of course, in Zuffenhausen, beginning as any Porsche 911 would in production there. The Bergsport is one of a total of 25 different variants of the legendary sports car, thanks to a flexible production system that has evolved for over 60 years. It takes an average of four days to build a Porsche 911, with robots and people working in conjunction to combine precision with passionate craftsmanship and skill. However, Exclusive Manufaktur adds some extra steps to the Bergsport’s manufacturing process. Although it’s applied in the same process as other 911s, Valley Green Metallic is a special paint color that is featured on the Porsche 911 GT3 Bergsport. In later stages of the GT3 Bergsport’s production, several bespoke elements are hand-crafted and added to the car. A badge on the B-pillar reads “GT3 Bergsport,” and the rear lid grille features a special badge for the exclusive edition as well. Inside, the leather center console is specially embossed, and orange, black, and white stitching adorns the upholstery. The key, leather key pouch, and document wallet are even specially crafted to match the special edition. <- Gallery -> Rather than being an exclusive edition because of its production number alone, the one-of-100 Porsche 911 GT3 Bergsport is designed to be a collector-worthy masterpiece because of a production process that combines excellent craftsmanship with bespoke design and several artisan details. Alongside that, the rich racing heritage that inspired it and Porsche’s connection to that history give the highly desirable special edition a beautiful backdrop. Hodinkee Teases Its Second Watch Collaboration With Porsche Design

There isn't much to see just yet, and that's because Hodinkee is keeping it under wraps. The watch publication recently teased the next chapter of its collaboration with Porsche Design, with the second release set to debut on October 1st. There are no images, specs, or real clues about what the new watch will look like, so for now, we're left with the date and the history behind the two names involved. Porsche Design has been making watches for more than 50 years, starting with the Chronograph 1 in 1972. Created by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche with Swiss watchmaker Orfina, the all-black chronograph was a drastically different take on the common chronograph at the time and established the connection between Porsche's lifestyle language and watchmaking. The brand would later work with IWC before eventually bringing its watchmaking operations in-house. Over the years, Porsche Design watches have continued to follow that same basic idea of combining functional design with the brand's performance DNA. Hodinkee brings a different kind of history to the collaboration. What started as a watch blog has grown into one of the better-known names in modern watch media, covering everything from vintage watches and independent brands to major releases from the industry's biggest manufacturers. That made its first Porsche Design collaboration in 2024 a pretty natural pairing. The Chronograph 1 – Hodinkee Edition took inspiration from the original 1972 Chronograph 1 while giving it a modern update, with production limited to 350 pieces. It was also described as the first chapter of a three-part collaboration, making it the next one in line. And that's about all we know for now. There are no specs to dissect or photographs to study ahead of the launch, but collectors won't have to wait much longer. The second chapter of the Hodinkee x Porsche Design collaboration is scheduled to debut on October 1, when we'll finally get to see what the two brands have been working on. Source: Hodinkee
