After 40 years, duPont REGISTRY’s cover cars capture moments in automotive history.
This year, duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. In that time, some of the world’s most desirable, iconic, and influential luxury and exotic cars have graced the cover of our magazine over the past 40 years, and together, the cover cars of duPont REGISTRY’s hundreds of monthly issues tell a story of automotive history and its evolution since the ‘80s.

January – Apollo IE (Intensa Emozione)
An elusive V12-powered supercar, the Apollo IE has been the stuff of legend for quite some time now. In January 2018, it kicked off a new year of cover cars for the duPont REGISTRY magazine.
February – Lamborghini Urus
Now Lamborghini’s most popular model and one of the most ubiquitous Super SUVs on the market, the production Lamborghini Urus landed on our cover for the first time in February 2018.
March – Hennessey Venom F5
Now well on its way to achieving many record-breaking ambitions of performance and speed, the Hennessey Venom F5 was showcased on our cover as early as March 2018.
April – Porsche TechArt GTStreet R
One of the most exciting customizers of Porsche cars, the TechArt GTStreet R was the cover star for our 2018 April Anniversary Issue.
May – Ferrari 488 Pista
An elevated, track-focused version of the Ferrari 488, hence its Pista suffix, the Ferrari 488 Pista was our May 2018 cover star.
June – Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder
Designed for track-ready performance with added open-air thrill, the Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder was the cover star of our June 2018 magazine.
July – Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
The pinnacle of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette lineup, the C7 Corvette ZR1 was the cover star of our July 2018 issue.
August – Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The pinnacle of purist, naturally-aspirated track-ready Porsche performance at the time, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS from the 991 generation was our August 2018 cover star.
September – McLaren P1 GTR
A special McLaren P1 GTR, specifically the example with the “01” vin, was the cover star of our September 2018 issue.
October – Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Prototype
Camouflaged at the time, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ that would go on to be one of the most desirable, collector-worthy, and exclusive variants of the Aventador, was the cover star of our October 2018 issue.
November – Lexani EXTV
The Lexani EXTV, a custom luxury off-roader based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, was our November 2018 cover star.
December – Porsche 911 Speedster Concept
It would eventually emerge for the 2019 model year as a limited-production, purist-focused model, but the Porsche 911 Speedster Concept was a vision of a model that would continue a cherished legacy of Porsche “Speedster” models, one of the most significant hallmarks of Porsche’s place in automotive history.
