Lamborghini Debuts Two Temerario Ad Personam Configurations at Goodwood

Lamborghini has been pushing its Ad Personam bespoke program further with each successive Temerario commission, with two more unique Temerario Ad Personam configurations, making their public debut at Goodwood. The unveiling follows recent one-off projects presented at Art Basel Miami and Porto Cervo, where the brand has explored increasingly unconventional finishes and craftsmanship. This latest reveal moves beyond exterior colors and stitching, placing equal emphasis on material innovation inside the cabin. <- Gallery -> At the center of the project is Gessato, a wool fabric woven with a black base and a discontinuous silver pinstripe. Applied to the door panels, rear bulkhead, and roof liner, the pattern intentionally breaks its own rhythm, creating a visual effect that complements the sharp geometry of the interior. Matching silver leather inserts connect the natural fiber with exposed carbon fiber trim, bringing together materials never before combined in a production Lamborghini. On the exterior, both commissions take a different approach, with one wearing Grigio Crater Matt with a Grigio Artis contrast livery, while the other pairs Celeste Fedra with Bianco Phanes accents, and the matt Alleggerita package. Instead of wool, it uses Corsa Tex by Dinamica while retaining the same pinstripe-inspired theme, reflecting its stronger focus on lightweight construction. Another exterior highlight is the fine lines that sweep across the bodywork, referencing the construction marks designers use during the earliest stages of sketch development. “At Lamborghini, exclusivity is not defined only by performance, but also by the ability to create a car that reflects the individuality and vision of each customer. Through Ad Personam, every Lamborghini can become a unique reflection of its owner while remaining unmistakably faithful to our design DNA, technological innovation, and performance values." - Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO, Automobili Lamborghini. Power comes from Lamborghini's new hybrid drivetrain, which combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with three electric motors for a total output of 920 horsepower. The setup propels the car from 0 to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of more than 210 mph. Earlier this year, Lamborghini marked the 20th anniversary of Ad Personam. These latest commissions show how that program continues to evolve beyond cosmetic customization, placing materials, craftsmanship, and engineering at the center of the design process. New Lamborghini Urus SE Performante Super SUV Revealed

By Charles Bradley –  July 01, 2026

New Lamborghini Urus SE Performante Super SUV Revealed

Lamborghini has unveiled the Urus SE Performante, a new high-performance derivative of its plug-in hybrid Super SUV that elevates the model’s combination of performance, luxury, technology, and everyday usability. Designed to sit at the top of the Urus lineup, the SE Performante introduces the highest combined system output in the model’s history, delivering 812 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque from a sophisticated plug-in hybrid powertrain. Alongside its increased power, the new Super SUV incorporates advanced aerodynamics, extensive carbon-fiber components, innovative suspension technology, and a driver-focused interior designed around Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy. The result is a vehicle engineered to deliver exceptional performance on both road and track while maintaining the refinement expected from a luxury SUV. New Benchmark for the Luxury Super SUV Segment The Lamborghini Urus SE Performante combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a permanent-magnet electric motor, creating a dual-power system that represents the next evolution of Lamborghini performance. The hybrid powertrain produces 812 CV at 6,000 rpm and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque available between 2,000 and 5,500 rpm. Compared with the previous Urus Performante, the new model gains 146 PS and 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) of torque. Performance figures place the Urus SE Performante at the top of its segment. The Super SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds, reaches 200 km/h (125 mph) in 10.8 seconds, and achieves a top speed of 312 km/h (194 mph). The electric motor also enables full-electric driving for more than 60 km (37.3 miles), supported by a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery positioned beneath the load floor to optimize the vehicle’s center of gravity. Power is delivered through an eight-speed automatic transmission specifically recalibrated to enhance the vehicle’s sporting character. A software update reduces response times, maximizing driver input and minimizing torque lag. Carbon Fiber Design Meets Lamborghini Performance The Urus SE Performante represents the latest evolution of Lamborghini’s design philosophy, with every exterior element developed around performance and aerodynamic efficiency. Lamborghini Centro Stile created a design language centered on “bold sportiness,” emphasizing the relationship between form and function. The vehicle features the most extensive use of exposed carbon fiber ever featured on a Urus, reinforcing its technical character and supersport identity. “With the Urus SE Performante, we give shape to driving emotions,” stated Design Director Mitja Borkert. “While the Urus SE represents the elegant face of sportiness, the Urus SE Performante design is purely inspired by performance and our philosophy ‘We give adrenaline a shape.’ To emphasize the vehicle’s supersport character, we decided to expose most of the carbon-fiber elements, both on the exterior and inside the cabin.” The redesigned carbon-fiber hood features a central power dome inspired by Lamborghini heritage, while larger air intakes improve cooling performance and aerodynamic flow toward the radiators. “The most powerful Urus ever, and during the development phase, it was clear that the design needed to adapt to new cooling requirements for both the engine and braking system. That’s why we created these large air intakes on the hood, which not only give the front end an even sportier presence but also perform an essential aerodynamic function,” Borkert continued. The exterior design is further defined by new 23-inch wheels, redesigned wheel arches with carbon-fiber details, and a rear aerodynamic package featuring a new carbon-fiber spoiler and the largest diffuser ever designed for a Urus. Inside, the cabin follows Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” concept with a more driver-focused environment featuring updated displays, aviation-inspired details, and a new steering wheel enhanced with an exclusive carbon-fiber bezel. Aerodynamics Engineered for Performance The Lamborghini Urus SE Performante establishes a new benchmark for aerodynamic efficiency within the Super SUV segment. Engineers focused on optimizing airflow, stability, and component cooling while improving overall driving performance. Compared with the Urus SE, the new model achieves a 3% reduction in aerodynamic drag while increasing downforce by 23%. The vehicle delivers a 22% increase in front downforce while maintaining the same rear load compared with the previous Urus Performante. A new front splitter reduces lift and improves agility, while upper and lower carbon-fiber spoilers at the rear enhance stability at high speeds. The redesigned cooling system introduces new hood vents functioning as an S-Duct, dedicated outlets on the fenders, and enlarged internal wheel-arch vents. These solutions improve thermal management for the plug-in hybrid system while contributing to improved underbody aerodynamics. Brake cooling efficiency also increases by 8% compared with the Urus SE through the introduction of a dedicated NACA duct optimized to channel cooling air directly toward the discs and calipers. Advanced Suspension Technology for Control A defining feature of the Urus SE Performante is the introduction of the AURA dual-chamber air suspension system, which expands the vehicle’s ability to combine comfort with high-performance driving dynamics. The system uses dual-chamber air springs and dual-valve dampers to continuously adapt suspension behavior based on driving conditions and selected modes. Compared with previous Urus versions, the technology reduces body roll during sporty driving by 55% and decreases comfort-related vibrations by 25%. The result is a Super SUV capable of delivering the refinement of a luxury vehicle while providing the responsiveness expected from a Lamborghini sports car. From Road to Rally The Urus SE Performante introduces a new Rally driving mode designed to maximize driving excitement on loose surfaces, adding another dimension to the vehicle’s performance capabilities. The driver can select from multiple driving modes, including Strada, Sport, Corsa, Rally, and EV mode. Each setting adjusts the vehicle’s behavior to match different driving environments. EV mode allows the vehicle to maximize electric capability, while Hybrid mode balances efficiency and comfort. Recharge mode allows the battery to be replenished up to 80% while maintaining optimal performance. Sport mode enhances agility and allows drivers to experience power oversteer and drifting capability, while Corsa mode focuses on maximum performance during track driving. A New Standard for Lamborghini Luxury Performance The Urus SE Performante represents Lamborghini’s continued evolution of the Super SUV concept, combining electrified performance, advanced engineering, and unmistakable Italian design. Through its hybrid powertrain, carbon-fiber construction, aerodynamic innovations, and luxury-focused interior, the new Urus SE Performante expands the boundaries of what a high-performance SUV can achieve. It is a vehicle designed not only for speed, but for an immersive driving experience that brings Lamborghini’s supersport DNA into a new era of luxury performance. Lamborghini Chronicles The Evolution Of The Super SUV From LM002 To Urus SE

By Tyler Rampersaud –  June 22, 2026

Lamborghini Looks Back At The Evolution Of The Super SUV

While the Lamborghini Urus is one of the most popular, celebrated, desirable, and exotic luxury performance SUVs, Lamborghini is no stranger to the concept. Decades ago, Lamborghini introduced the LM002, when the concept of a Super SUV was much more foreign to the automotive industry. At the time, the LM002, a Countach V12-powered off-road-ready Lamborghini, was quite radical, coming after the 1977 Cheetah prototype and the LM001. In the ‘80s and early ‘90s, when the 301 units of the LM002 were built, it was uniquely capable of speeds above 124 mph, while also conquering dunes and other unique terrain with specially developed Pirelli tires. Its unique legacy remained a legend in Lamborghini’s history for years, but in 2012, the idea was reimagined with a new concept, the Urus. The Lamborghini Urus concept’s acclaim and reception meant that it would become a production model in 2017, introducing a powerful twin-turbo V8 to a new Lamborghini Super SUV, bringing the combination of performance, luxury, and versatile capability that the LM002 pioneered to the modern era. After the inaugural Urus spent years dominating the Super SUV landscape, it was evolved in 2023 with the Urus Performante, which broke a record at Pikes Peak before it was even fully unveiled, and the Urus S. Showcasing a more performance-focused variant of the Urus, the Performante was more distilled than the standard vehicle, while the Urus S updated the celebrated model throughout. However, Lamborghini went even further and introduced the Lamborghini Urus SE after that. Powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain that teamed the twin-turbo V8 with an electric system, the Urus SE is the most powerful variant of the Urus yet. With 800 horsepower and high-tech efficiency, the Lamborghini Urus SE combines the Super SUV concept with Lamborghini’s futuristic new approach to performance. <- Gallery -> Throughout the time that the Urus has been on the market, several special editions have given twists to the design and luxury of the vehicle, and a police version, as well as a racing concept, have reinterpreted the model as well. Beginning in the ‘80s, Lamborghini’s Super SUV concept was well ahead of its time, but if it weren’t for the LM002 and its ambitious premise, the Urus and its variants might not have been as successful as they are today.
